Whenever you feel upset just talk to yourself in your mind. Keep telling yourself how beautiful and loved you are. Find a funny video or good song. Eat your favorite food. Talk to like minded people who care about you. I just started seeing a therapist. I felt great afterwards. It's good to get out what's bottled up

And the opposite is also true I guess? If you hate yourself/ are unkind to yourself, it lowers your vibration and you end up spreading that low vibration to those you come into contact with. E.g. you may be snappy/ nasty or whatever.
So...start with yourself, take care of yourself, then you will naturally also have a good effect on those around you and want to be a more giving and empathetic person?

Thanks for this thread. It makes a lot of sense to start with ourselves if we want to make a difference in the world, we start with ourselves and work outwards.
