So Trump can sell out his base around the edges on 2nd amendment and immigration, gain a chunk of middle moderate public support to win reelection. Look at DACA as an example,Trump campaigned on promise to repeal DACA on day one did he do that? No! Trump promised no amnesty. Did Trump keep that promise? No--Trump has offered citizen ship to 1.8 million illegals! Now Trump is selling out on 2nd amendment. Judged on his actions not his words Trum is for Trump. Even if they took him up on these deals it then is up to the legislature to make the laws and pass them. He is exposing the left for what they truly want by giving into the whole "But what about the children" narrative. You act like the guy who wrote the art of the deal has no idea how to deal. When in reality he is exposing the bottom line for the left and it isn't at all what they are arguing about. A tweet or a comment can expose the true intentions and desires of these people which is totally unpopular with the majority instead of focusing on the left's attempt to use children for political purposes. |
