He wants permanent laws on immigration - not something that changes with every administration - do you realize Obama snuck nearly 2 million Syrians into the country?
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 74033525 Exactly! He will use an EO - but only after he exhausts all other PROPER avenues. As POTUS - he has the SOLE right to determine immigrant policies. He can close the doors and not allow ANY in at all. It's also his right to remove unlawful non-citizen residents from within our borders. Congress can't stop him. SCOTUS can't stop him and the Justice Department can't stop him. Everything he is doing from DACA to Obamacare to Tax Reform - he is trying to do through the Legislative branch, because supposedly, Congress is the voice of the PEOPLE. But if Congress won't represent US, then the POTUS will - as a last resort. I love our POTUS!!!!
