Thread: Would you rather have Manafort flip or go to trial?

A lot of people are claiming that Manafort didn't commit crimes while he was working for the Trump campaign. That's allegedly false.

Mr. Manafort’s dealings with Federal Savings began in July 2016, when he was running Mr. Trump’s presidential campaign, and continued after he was ousted a month later. In each instance, according to the indictment, Mr. Manafort and Mr. Gates altered financial statements for their consulting business to make it easier for Mr. Manafort to qualify for mortgages.

If you're a Trump supporter, you believe Trump is innocent, so what's the downside of having Manafort flip? If you're a patriot, you should want to know exactly what happened at the Trump Jr. meeting with the Russians. Manafort flipping would be great concerning that because he was at the meeting.

On the other hand, if Manafort goes to trial, it could be the biggest circus since the first O.J. Simpson trial. Since Manafort was still committing crimes during his time working for the Trump campaign, I think it's possible that every key member of Trump's campaign could be called to testify.

We know that Gates, Flynn, and Papadopoulos CAN'T plead the fifth. Roger Stone has said that he's looking forward to testifying to Mueller.

On his interview with the Judge last night he told

I would at least like to see some kind of moves made against our oppressors.

I'd wager that was a lie but let's just say he did tell that to Sessions in person...

I mean how would charging her, having a trial and then her being found 'Not Guilty' play out for the GOP ?

Unless Trump's wanting Jeff to "make up some charges" but then that'd make him no better than her right ?

Sessions seems to becoming the dark horse, I get frustrated that he seems to be totally invisible, I thought he would be an attack AG, I read and hear that perhaps he is doing background stuff.

I read somewhere they call Sessions the quiet assassin, I don't see it, maybe I am missing something, once I would have said with President Trump saying for Sessions to get off his ass to do something, that it was part of the plan now I just feel concerned, don't know why?
