If millennials aren't competent enough to purchase a firearm, then they sure as heck aren't competent enough to vote.

With the current crop of "adults" it might be best to just have an age of maturity where they aren't able to leave their house without an emotional support animal until they are 21. You could join the military without being active duty before 21.

Can not have "childen" in possession of, and using, dangerous items. They obviously are NOT "mature" enough.

Voting should be done only by landowners.

If you don't currently own a piece of america. You don't get to vote.

The age to be aborted should be raised to 21, no one is allowed to be killed until then. That way, the child has a fighting chance to survive.

Then when the child is old enough to be aborted, he/she will now be eligible to purchase a long gun to protect their life protected in the Constitution.

clappa for obvious reasons. Back in the day one had to be a land owner to vote.

I'm all for that.

No disrespect for non-landowners. Non landowners here know it would = win.

I think it should be the same age of majority for everything across the board. I've thought that for a long time.

There should be a clear cut age of majority when one is legally and socially an adult for all purposes. It shouldn't be a bunch of random ages spread out over a three or four year period.

Either you're a grown up or you're not. I think that would be good for America.

Different states have it for different things, so I get that. But it is ridiculous to have an "age of consent" at 16 in a state, but the same state doesn't think they are mentally capable of purchasing a cigarette.

Yes! And raise the age of military service to 21. If they can't exercise all rights, they sure should not be sent abroad and provided a true, select-fire, full auto weapon supposedly to "protect our freedoms".

By the way, which country in which our military is deployed has any ability to take our freedoms?
