Cruz's schoolmates

I've heard and read several times now that, over the years, Cruz's schoolmates repeatedly viewed him as a person who would shoot up a school.

Don't get me wrong, I see Cruz as an animal that just couldn't handle society. But in a "making of a killer" way of looking at things, imagine how things may have been for this creep.

Both his parents die when he was an infant. He is adopted and his adopted father dies soon after. His adopted mother dies when he's 18. I mean, that's some pretty rough luck.

All the while, he's in a (most likely) high peer pressure situation in an upper middle class school. The entire school views him as a likely shooter. Even the day of the shooting, one girl jokes with him, "I am surprised it wasn't you". I mean, what the fuck kind of statement is that?

I honestly hate to break things down to such a simple thought, but I can't help but think this all stemmed from basic bullying gone bad.

Listen to Emma Gonzalez's statements at around the 11:35 mark. I get the sense that Cruz, though yes, a monster in all ways imaginable, was pushed into the situation by nothing other than peer pressure and bullying.
