Yea, I'm leaning in that direction too. If you look at the video (Without hitting the play button) you can see the beginning stages as it slowly get's worse over time.

Doesn't look like real blood to me- In the older one, it isn't "rusty" enough- blood has a high iron content and thus leaves behind a rust colored stain as it ages- The newer one looks fake as hell (unless someone had chopped a critters head off within the previous couple hours... And all of the arguments as to how hard it would be to get up there to fake it without being seen- applies (even more so) to making it up there with a living thing, a sacrificial knife or whatever.

My guess? If these backwoods bumpkins can figure out how to deliver beer with a drone, pretty sure it would be easy to gig a drone (the one taking the images?) and rig it with a simple bucked mechanism to dump whatever fluid was in it, in a relatively controlled manner.



Never underestimate the creative powers of a bored redneck... now add a few bucks in the form of Youtube gen. revenue, and I think we might have a "no brainer" as to source of the phenomenon in question.
