BREAKING: Police Responding To Active Shooter In Colorado Springs

I'm in the city, tuned into local MSM. Suspect shot at a CSPD officer(s) and took off on foot.

The area cordoned off as of 18:12MST is bounded by: Union on the east, Vickers on the south, Downhill on the north, and Tuckerman Ln on the west. Primarily a residential area, plenty of places to hide, thus police going door to door.

Citizens in area advised to shelter in place and not confront the suspect, who's presumed to be armed and dangerous.

Description: male, approx 6 ft, in their thirties, wearing a dark grey hoodie.

UPDATE: Suspect taken into police custody earlier today, in a home near Palmer Park & Circle without incident.
