Maybe she put up a fuss and they wanted to get rid of her.

I guess she didn't have to deal with the usual disposal of a Christmas tree. Heh.

Reminds me of someone who recently bought a floor heater for the brief cold spell and then returned it for their money back.

Pathetic. Costco should also refund her membership.

Dragging a dead tree out, tying it on top of car, driving it; then untying it to drag it in the store for a refund is certifiably nuts. Get this crazy bitch out of society.

Don't know why they go to all the trouble. At our HD all you have to do is simply walk out with a couple of power tools worth $1000, cash them in at a pawn shop for $500, go get high, then come back the next day and repeat the process.

There was some guy who returned his 4 years old, worn out winter tyres to Costco - he didn't like them. Got his money back too.

There's all the time people returning TVs with whatever in the original box (except the TV) to Amazon. They get their refund too. Because the number of people who abuse the system is so low that it still makes sense.

Who celebrates Scammers? They rightly earn the title roaches. I have insight into loss prevention at a department store. Black kids, white old ladies, Mexicans, white guys. The middle easterns and dot Indians don't steel, but they will scam just the same "negotiating" something for nothing, being told no 100 times and then trying to walk with it anyway.

Heard one yesterday: lady bought a cocktail dress, explained she went to Mexico and wants to return it now having barely busted it with fat ass after she turnt up in it....

9teeN Actually I guessed that she would get her money back before reading the story.

Amazingly, she actually did get her money back, according to the post. But not without a little bit of shaming from the store and other customers.

I'd shame the hell out of this woman. Then again that's part of why I sold my bookstore once upon a time. Retail has its own special hellish requirements.
