it will promote inflation for sure.

while I am not against the working poor making more money... it is their right and objective to do so... the state interfering may not be the best method.

having a high minimum wage will likely benefit immigrants the most since their educational, language, and experience qualifications may be paid higher sooner.

I'm not against higher wages but I am against the government forcing it down our throats. Like they know what's best..

In Canfuckistan where the Liberal governments are driving businesses out of the country with a whip - Tim Hortons - a national icon even though it's owned by a US company - has done some creative 'innovation' because of the increased minimum wages.
Like cutting all shifts to 4 hours so they don't have to pay any 15min paid breaks.
Like virtually eliminating all full time jobs and raising covfefe prices.
