Major Retailer Called Racist for Promoting a Black Child in ‘Monkey’ Hoodie

You would think that in 2017, major companies would be sensitive to avoid anything that might appear even remotely racist.
Apparently not.

H&M stores are now under fire after featuring a hoodie on their website modeled by a black child. The problem is with the wording on the hoodie: “Coolest Monkey in the Jungle.” An image of the listing, including a picture of the child model, is included below.

As you might expect, the outrage was quick and fierce.
