He came into my bakery all the time and was a horrible ass. Never anything nice to say and never a smile on his face. He had a big white beard white hair and a bit of a gut. He was waiting in line one day behind a woman with a little girl. The little girl was probably about 4 or 5. She couldn't take her eyes off of him. She finally said to him "are you santa?" I expected him to just say no and let that be that seeing as how he was normally so cranky. But he squatted down to her level and told her that he was santa and asked what she wanted for Christmas. He told her to keep being good and she just might get it. The little girls face lit up with pure joy. It was precious. |
