God is greater than Saturnalia.

He made that holiday to be a cover for Christians to celebrate the birth of Jesus without persecution.

All over the world there is a holiday at the winter solstice, and has been for centuries without end. So if needed, God's protection will be there wherever people wish to celebrate the birth of Jesus. Only God would have thought of planning it that way?

Why are you holding negative feelings about His work?

I relaxed, like Grumpier (OP) suggested...
Then I touched the picture at left with middle finger
of non-dominant hand and did the breath exercise...
while ALSO touching the Jesus image at right with middle
finger of my dominant hand...(I had my eyes closed)

I was surprised to actually see a visual of a man
walking through a crowd of 1,000's of people waving
and cheering--like one would imagine Jesus entering
Jerusalem. It was fuzzy but clear enough to make out
the scene--it actually freaked me out a little bit...
Geeze, never had that happen before.

I'm going to experiment with the ORB as well and see
what comes through. If it IS FUTURE, like you say, maybe
this will be when we build the Embassy in Jerusalem
President Trump hopes to see built. I couldn't make out
who the person was, though (sorry.) (It did remind me of
a scene from the movie "The Robe.")

Yet it is not either/or. It is both.

"Christ" is a term that originally meant the same as Bodhisattva does to other Spiritual Practices. There was not just one. It is a state of Being of Spirit. There really is a better way to say this.

Yet Jesus IS Christ. To Limit what He is here with mere words would do Him Injustice.

Our language is based on commerce, and our minds are logical. Most of the time when we identify something, it then is apt to take away from another thing with our limited perceptions.

I had a near-death experience at age 12 - long long ago.

Jesus came face to face with me. He looked almost exactly like this picture. His hair was slightly sunbleached as if he'd just spent weeks in the summer desert. Otherwise, it's Him.

When I meditated on the photo I began to cry ... and saw tears in the eyes of Jesus also.

A very good friend of me pointed out that in his case the dominant hand /non-dominant hand needed a reversal to get it working.

Though I do not understand that at the moment, it could be working for more people.

I tried it both ways, and my (energy) dominant hand with the finger on the picture was the way it worked correctly for me.

I felt the flow start, and then moments later I felt my upward turned hand begin to pulse. Lovely. I imagined the energy going for far and wide. Also, after a few minutes my whole left side, especially my head, became warm.

Not that I felt strung out before doing this, but I feel very calm and peaceful now...and I'm now sense-seeing a lamb. This I'm finding very interesting.

Well, I just gave it a try both ways. My meditation concentration is very rusty. I unfortunately gave it up 9 years ago when going through a very rough period in my life.

I was relaxed when trying this gift Grumpier, but if something was "connecting", it must have been on a higher plane because I didn't "see", sense nor "hear" anything in the physical. And that's ok because my heart and mind was open to all possibilities and that regardless of my perception or lack thereof, this gift would send loving energy out to the Universe where it is needed most.
