What are we to determine from that?

The digital picture published on that site appears to be "flat" or unaltered. If it were altered you would see squares or splotches rather than a flat consistent pattern.

Someone still could have created that picture in photoshop and then flattened it.

Maybe the gorilla lady has better photoshop people than it's husband (ie the birth cert).
