I can explain this effect. The reason why its always shared cultural things is because we wouldnt know other things that have changed like personal experiences and memories there is no other person to say "hey man you werent at the zoo in 4th grade when amanda asked you out it was the play!"

Honestly I don't recall this one very well.

I will say most of what I assume is supposed to be the traditional "uncle sam" face don't look right to me.

They are all too much Ted Nugent looking than anything I recall.

Every artist draws a different version based on how they view the character. There is no right or wrong way to draw a made up character which developed from a long ago ad campaign. Uncle Sam is not some official government created character and there is no specific representation of the character. I saw a representation of him today shoeless on one foot and sickles on the other. There is no Mandela effect from a character that is drawn by tens of thousands of different artist around the world. I suggest you draw a name from the phone book under professional mental health providers and avail yourself of their expertise

I remember the hat to be white, And this isnt even my timeline. I think where alot of ppl ( including me at first) is the costume people dressed up in, which was the striped hat and pants

During that time period,in my memory,Uncle Sam had red stripes positioned vertically on hat.

The one that got me was in the Bible, actually two.
