Mkultra was mainstream in the late 70s.

It ended decades ago. It needs to be forgotten about.

Yeah MKultra is old school tech. I'm sure some of the basic principals are still used but in much more sophisticated ways now.

Great sounds like Netflix is putting something out that isn't absolute drek liberal political bullshit? I'm surprised, they are hit or miss thinking of canceling my sub now that they are letting go of most of the good shows. Only good original series recently were IMO "Godless" and "The Last Kingdom"

Watched it yesterday, seems like they could have gotten this done in 2 or 3 episodes...

They repeat and draw the story out way too long.

They actually combine both. It's a very cool effect.

That is exactly what I thought- shoulda been a 2 hr. docu-drama or whatever- I made it through 2 episodes and couldn't go any further due to boredom.

Yep, I agree. and those shots of the old dude, with glasses saying the same thing over and over at different speeds... I mean come on this thing was way over produced.

I watched the whole thing on Saturday - all 6 episodes.

If you didn't get to the end, then you don't know the whole story.

Maybe they could have done it in shorter time, but actually the whole FULL story is so important to understand that it should not be treated in a trivial manner.

By expanding the story a bit further with each episode, advancing the narrative and exposing the next step of the coverup, it amplifies the message.

It stops it being treated as just a one-line footnote in history.

It might appear to start wth MKultra in the first episode, but that's not where it ends up by the last episode.

No spoilers from me.

But that's why you should watch the whole thing.

I got to the end...I think they were hoping for some of that making of a murderer fame. Didn't quite hit the mark for me.

There's definitely an anti-climax. But that's addressed in the name of the show.

I think I read somewhere that they spread it out like that to enter it in the Emmys or something.

And now you will never "Officially" hear anything about these programs because "Officially" they don't exist.
