Anonymous Coward User ID: 75725339 United States 12/16/2017 09:20 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Mkultra was mainstream in the late 70s. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 73136632 It ended decades ago. It needs to be forgotten about. People need to move on. Yeah, foggeddaboutit. Never happened, nothing to see hear or be concerned with. And obviously all the lessons that could possibly have been learned from such things have culminated in a vast kn0wledge,awareness, and accountability that prevents this sort of thing from ever happening again. It's not like it was an iceberg and there is much more below the surface, oh no, couldn't be. It certainly is not like some weird ass government op that likely spiraled the fuck out of control or anything either. Move on and forget about it. Good call m8. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 72626591 United States 12/16/2017 09:36 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Great sounds like Netflix is putting something out that isn't absolute drek liberal political bullshit? I'm surprised, they are hit or miss thinking of canceling my sub now that they are letting go of most of the good shows. Only good original series recently were IMO "Godless" and "The Last Kingdom" |

I'm sure some of the basic principals are still used but in much more sophisticated ways now. Not really. The techniques still apply. |

We have the ability to communicate instantly across the world to verify. Thus they need a new enemy that we normal peeps can't communicate with. Purity of Essence |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75702995 Watched it yesterday, seems like they could have gotten this done in 2 or 3 episodes... They repeat and draw the story out way too long. That is exactly what I thought- shoulda been a 2 hr. docu-drama or whatever- I made it through 2 episodes and couldn't go any further due to boredom. |

Yep, I agree. and those shots of the old dude, with glasses saying the same thing over and over at different speeds... I mean come on this thing was way over produced. |

Maybe they could have done it in shorter time, but actually the whole FULL story is so important to understand that it should not be treated in a trivial manner. By expanding the story a bit further with each episode, advancing the narrative and exposing the next step of the coverup, it amplifies the message. It stops it being treated as just a one-line footnote in history. |

No spoilers from me. But that's why you should watch the whole thing. Last Edited by SovereignMe on 12/19/2017 11:15 AM |

Didn't quite hit the mark for me. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75702995 There's definitely an anti-climax. But that's addressed in the name of the show. I think I read somewhere that they spread it out like that to enter it in the Emmys or something. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 73136632 It ended decades ago. It needs to be forgotten about. People need to move on. If you believe that you are a fool! MKULTRA and other programs like it did NOT end! They were transferred to Black Project oversight. And now you will never "Officially" hear anything about these programs because "Officially" they don't exist. |
