I'm waiting until the time is right and it's accepted on a global scale (2020 is my target year for use). It's a true free market deflationary currency, something we have not seen in our lifetime. ive created a free a account at coinbase and saw that ask for a bank account or debit/credit card. I think i can see whats going to happen when millions of users get hacked for their REAL bank accounts for the fake DIGITAL coins they think they have. I believe the price of metals are suppressed. Cryptos are one of the tools to bring the system down. Again only an opinion and nothing about this feels good to me.

Like it's been explained in detail on many threads, if you don't have the private keys to your BTC, you do not own your BTC! Do not hold them on an exchange. Purchase on an exchange and print off a paper wallet or get a hardware wallet. Coinbase accounts are also insured up to $250k.

Maybe an exchange will be hacked. There definitely have been cases of that. Hence why you should remove your BTC from exchanges and control your own private keys.

Bitcoin is unhackable. It's a D-I-S-T-R-I-B-U-T-E-D ledger spread out amongst the world on millions of nodes run on computers.
