You are standing on a merry-go-round, it is stationary, you have no trouble holding on. Same merry-go-round starts spinning with you on it, it reaches a velocity equal to that of the earths spin (1000mph at equator), you are violently flung into space. That's gravity compelling you to leave... but wait.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75867432

This magical force called gravity supposedly holds oceans of water on a curved surface of a spinning ball yet lets butterflies and birds etc. fly up, up and away...but wait.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 939856

There is no gravity. It's all magnetism. Diffused magnetism is our bodies and every single cell and atom being pulled to the center of the earth. We are being pulled to the center of the earth the same as the earth being pulled to the center of the sun. We are in a constant state of falling. But the mass under our feet keeps us from doing so.

Actually it isn't to the absolute center of the earth, it's to a zero point magnetic equilibrium between us and the earth. It's what keeps us from crashing into the center, and keeps everything in the universe from annihilating itself.

And yes, the oceans are being pulled toward the zero point and the butterlies not so much, they have very little mass.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75748154

Can you make water adhere to a spinning ball then? Can you mimic this magical "magnetic equilibrium" by pouring water on a ball whilst spinning it at high speeds showing all of us how the water curves obediently to the outer surface and stays put?

As an experiment in natural science it should be easy to observe, reproduce, repeat. Go on. Your "magnetic magic" should work on any scale.

"The reproducibility of published experiments is the foundation of science. No reproducibility – no science."

There's this old ad for Sherwin-Williams paint - paint poured atop the earth and running off the sides - THAT is how liquid(s) behave in this realm.

Can't you hear them laughing at you.

Enjoy your scientism religion.

It's been fun...s'long.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 939856

What kind of a spinning ball are you referring to? I'm not following what you're even talking about here.

Wow, do you really think that the images from Nasa and the Hubble telescope are fabricated lies?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75748154

NASA itself has officially stated the images are fabricated! Read NASA's own lit on the subject. There are no ifs, ands or buts about it. NASA tells you to your face and you still prefer to believe the fairy tale?!

Ok then.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 939856

Of course! They are simulated. Rendered. When you figure out how to put a video camera 30 million light years away and beam the signal back in real time let me know.
 Quoting: Anubis

You should asking NASA why it hasn't figure that out. It wants you to accept it's CGI artwork as real. You do.

It's a marriage made in heaven.

the bigger question would obviously be 'where' is the location that this apparent 'Creation' is located!

you are believing what a computer tells you its like
and because more graded'yes sir repeaters' back the novelty up you accept it more....

the whole process from the first intentional observations of our reality are processed with 'super computers/quantum computers, AI is just around the corner for the public of humanity, what makes you think we haven't been deliberately misled for however long and nothing you ever truly check into is true...

There are some things that are observable with human eye and telescope .. there is no denying that. But you are right when the scale goes beyond observable we must rely on mathematics and computers.

the 'previous cultural ancient artifacts and structures spread around our planet with the carvings and writings telling us star chartings and apparently unknown astral bodies tells me the ability to observe and understand had 'previously' been removed and we reverted back to nothing in the way of not having the ability to find the right questions to then reason out the correct answers due to deliberate distractions like wars religions deliberate pecking order structures - all deliberately fed to us to slow down the real understanding until the 'desired' 'prefered' understanding is force fed to us always through means that are one step beyond our capabilities until a later date when genuine interested scrutinising observers look and find we were lied to every time

Yup, the TREE OF LIFE.... but most of us are in the weeds.

The Great Attractor- Astronomers have determined that our own Milky Way galaxy is part of a newly identified ginormous supercluster of galaxies, which they have dubbed "Laniakea," which means "immense heaven" in Hawaiian. This discovery clarifies the boundaries of our galactic neighborhood and establishes previously unrecognized linkages among various galaxy clusters in the local Universe. The Milky Way resides in the outskirts of the supercluster, whose extent has for the first time been carefully mapped using these new techniques. This so-called Laniakea Supercluster is 500 million light-years in diameter and contains the mass of one hundred million billion Suns spread across 100,000 galaxies.

This new study also clarifies the role of the Great Attractor, a gravitational focal point in intergalactic space that influences the motion of our Local Group of galaxies and other galaxy clusters.....

The video barely touched on the myth of the "expanding universe". It did mention, in passing, that the universe is not expanding, but that point was not central to the narration. I see that as the most important idea to come out of this. This throws the whole "big bang" theory into doubt. If you look at the circulation of galaxies, it looks more like the "electric universe" theory applies.
