Christians should not celebrate Halloween
We, Christians, tend to overreact. But sometimes the problem may be in the foreground. Let's go with the crowd even when it crumbles with Christian values. Sometimes, however, faith has to be dared to stick to the pressure of the environment.

It is perhaps the imagination of poverty if, as a Christian, he does not invent any kind of fun and thrill for his children during the halloween, except to dress them as vampires, dead and zombies. Not to refuse to obey the hellish framework of the hall will have to mean that the day is spent at home without doing anything.

Paul reminded Christians that they could not attend the Lord's table and the deserters table simultaneously, to be part of the Lord and the demons.

Culturally, the penetration of halloween into Finland has led me to reflect on the fact that the spiritual wisdom seems to be the same as what we were taught in the army: each state must have its own army. There is no defensive vacuum. There is either a military in the country or there is another army.

The alienation of Finnish society from Christianity does not seem to lead to a secular in a spiritual "vacuum". If society is not Christianized, then other spirits will be replaced, taking over the spiritual and spiritual state. Just as Jesus said: The devil who is driven out returns to his empty and crippled dwelling with seven worse spirits. Jesus spoke of the nation's house.

Christianity is a thing worthy of adherence, because it is true. The living space of Christianity should therefore not be given to ghosts and pumpkin bullets. After all, on the last day of October, the memorial day for Reformation, as Juha Ahvio wrote in his last Sunday's blog, was just fine. And at about the same time, there is a holy day, when traditionally remembered those who have given their life for the testimony of Christ. It would not be right for those who have shed their blood for the sake of their faith in Jesus that we give this day to demons.

I know that Halloween was already there. Wednesday went already. But it will be back in the year. Until then, there is time to think and think about what Christianity means to us each. I do not want to grumble, and I do not condemn what others do. Let me just think about it.

It's also worth remembering that marketers do not like halloween trinkets when marketing ghosts. They just want your money. The devil wants your life. And your kid.

Re: Christians should not celebrate Halloween
Everyday it's Halloween for me.

But that's how far my interest in it goes, I didn't have any treats in house in the case that kids would be standing at myfront door, they can keep American holidays in America.

The St. Martin fest is a different manner, I'll make sure to have treats in house on that day. Especially since the isle of St. Martin has been changed forever.

You have no clue as to what Christianity really is or who God is.
Religion gives you such legalistic ideas and rules made by Men.
God created all days and all days Honor him, not the Devil.

So this Commercialized Halloween is nothing.
Giving out and partaking of Candy on that day is nothing. Except an act of generosity, one that God would approve of.
For the exact same argument used against the Commercialized day of Halloween, could be used against Christmas.
So should we not give gifts and celebrate His Birth, because the day was used by some in the past as a pagan day of worship?
How bound in Legalism you are, Repent and find Freedom in Christ.

Colossians 2:20-23
20 If you died with Christ from the elements of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to ordinances, 21"Don't handle, nor taste, nor touch"
22(all of which perish with use), according to the precepts and doctrines of men?

23Which things indeed appear like wisdom in self-imposed worship, and humility, and severity to the body; but aren't of any value against the indulgence of the flesh.

Re: Christians should not celebrate Halloween
I wrote this in a thread on social media just a couple days ago:

From a purely Christian perspective... If you're celebrating Halloween with your kids, you're teaching them to break commandments. Covetousness--what kid doesn't learn to covet candy at this time of year? (also Easter) Idolatry--idolizing fictional characters like superheroes, movie and cartoon characters. By the way, superheroes represent trans-humanism, or men becoming like God, which is breaking the first commandment as well.

The Bible specifically tells us that anything to do with spiritualism and its various forms is an abomination. People are conditioned to think of it as harmless fun, but you can't look at Halloween through the lens of the Bible and justify it as a wholesome activity for your kids.

We are told to turn away. I think the mistake most Christians make is they're putting their own worldly desires above what the Bible teaches and how God truly wants us to be--commandment keepers who are clothed with the robes of righteousness and keep the faith of Jesus.

(Exodus 20:3-17, 1 John 2:6, 1 John 2:15-17, Romans 12:2, Revelation 12:17, Revelation 14:12, Revelation 18:4-5)

Re: Christians should not celebrate Halloween
Never heard of any true Christian celebrating Halloween.

And Halloween is in 17 days from now according to Julian Calendar.

Did the Vatican fucked your horoscope up?, well too bad.
