I fucking love Texas!

I wasn't born here but I got here as fast as I could & I wouldn't go back to the Seattle area for anything short of $1 billion dollars. I moved from the Austin area to a small town of 5k, an hour & a half West/Northwest & absolutely love it!

A friend of mine is in northern California, near the Oregon border right now picking/processing weed on a farm. She does that about 3 and a half-4 months out of the year and makes about $1500 a week.

My father hated those bumper stickers, lol.

Why?

I Don't see people leaving because they were awarded more freedom.
Colorado for the most part is very very clean and pretty. Texas is filthy and the restaurants are disgusting. They get away will selling southerners anything , hence the fatness.
More likely to see piles of human shit in Texas.
The Texas also lost their gulf to bp, cause they don't know the dif between pollution and fake global warming. The land is filthy and the water, what do you have wetbacks?
There are better places keep looking. And I do wish u the best, I have just been through this entire country many many times and have to say Texas is to be avoided.





Colorado is just as filthy . The water is contaminated in Fountain and God knows where else . Parks closed in Denver due to dog shit everywhere. Homeless shitting up all over Denver in the streets attacking pedestrians. Ahhh, yes so much better. Have you seen the crime in Colorado Springs? Its everywhere. All the school kids committing suicide? Your deluded from the lack of oxygen, trust me I lived there. Texans will make Colorado a heck of a lot nicer than the Californians.

I love it because it's my roots.

I have been to Denver and Colorado Springs. Denver was smoggy and Colorado Springs was beautiful but very crowded. I was only a tourist though.

Idaho is amazing.
I went out there to work with my counterpart when I was in the Air Guard.
They cracked me up, they were literally selling handguns to each other ON BASE at lunch time. Its a beautiful state.

Florida has regions, almost mini states within the larger state. There are places I would chose to never go in my life time - within my own state.

I lived in Colorado a long time ago and I just got the impression it was a very Environmentally fragile state - I can't imagine it now - so much worse with the increase in population over the years.

Texas is pretty sweet,other than driving thru Houston.

Yep, just got back from Texas on Monday. People polite, food good, and only saw 1 hijab DFW airport.

Landed in DC, assholes everywhere.

Looking forward to our house getting finished and moving back next summer. No, not looking forward to July/August heat, but that is the price I am willing to pay to live in the US again.

Must have been. There are parts of Florida where we own a farm and you can drive for miles without seeing another human. With that said, I like the northeast part best, just south of Jacksonville. Hopping place for real estate.

Those would be the best parts.
And its freaking beautiful here today too.

I love Texas. It was and always will be my home. Unfortunately, I love my kids and grandkids more and they live in this god forsaken cold country of Michigan. So hubby and I bought a house here in the cold country and will die here unless I can get my kids to move Texas. Hubby is from Michigan and he would move back in a heart beat if our kids would. Texas...great food, nice people, slow pace, hot weather, great fishing and hunting, and more conservatives! Miss my home!
