The Forbidden Knowledge of the Garden of Eden - I'll Fill You in on a Secret

I mean, the story is called the "GARDEN" of Eden.

It's all about farming.

Gen 2:5 Now no shrub of the field was yet on the earth, and no plant of the field had yet sprung up, for יהוה Elohim had not sent rain on the earth, and there was no man to till the ground,
Gen 2:6 but a mist went up from the earth and watered the entire surface of the ground.

Gen 2:9 And out of the ground יהוה Elohim made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food, with the tree of life in the midst of the garden and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
Gen 2:10 And a river went out of Ěḏen to water the garden, and from there it divided and became four riverheads.
Gen 2:11 The name of the first is Pishon, it is the one surrounding the entire land of Ḥawilah, where there is gold.
Gen 2:12 And the gold of that land is good. Bdellium is there, and the shoham stone.
Gen 2:13 And the name of the second river is Giḥon, it is the one surrounding the entire land of Kush.
Gen 2:14 And the name of the third river is Ḥiddeqel, it is the one which goes toward the east of Ashshur. And the fourth river is the Euphrates.
Gen 2:15 And יהוה Elohim took the man and put him in the garden of Ěḏen to work it and to guard it.

The forbidden knowledge was sex and the ability to create life.

After eve sinned, and ate the forbidden fruit

God condemned both their disobedience and hiding

from him!


As a punishment God commanded them to leave the garden

and clothed them with Animal skins.


if they were only to eat fruit and vegies where did

the animal skins come from???


I belive the forbidden fruit was actually meat

as you would half to take a life to eat it.


this is not to say we are suppose to be vegans.

but, I do believe that the original forbidden

fruit was indeed meat.


The new testament says that Jesus died so that

we could legally eat meat..

as long as we pray over it.

That's if you believe everyone on the planet came from two people which means at some point Eve would have had to have sex with one of her sons. Don't buy it.

Sorry, but the bible goes back and states the beginning was around 6500 years ago and there were ancient cities over 10,000 years ago.

There were already many many people when the story of the Garden of Eden was put to writing.

Who is US and OUR?

I have found it really odd about the animal sacrifice. I remember thinking there are two gods in the old testament. God and Lord God. Two completely different personalities. One good and one not so good who demanded animal sacrifice.

Its what got me into reading about Gnosticism. That's what they believed.
