The economic system was designed to collapse anyway. There will ALWAYS be more and more and more DEBT!

Thank you AC for posting. I am aware of this fact, been riding this wave for a long time. I'm just trying to bring to light that we are on the edge of the abyss and the natural disasters that continue to happen could be the thing that hurls us off the edge. People need to be aware and prepared.

i agree completely. told the gf after FL was hit that 1 more disaster would b huge. we were already broke and FEMA was stretched then. that is before PR was hit and vacated<vacationed> to mainland. did u notice how they complained? umm dumb dumbs this was strike 3,of course things were goina be slower without figuring it was an island and already in trouble b4 the hurricane.now we have massive fires out west. a big flood of the mighty river or any other disaster wouuld have us on our knees.the country has not recovered from the depression aka recession.
as for the total $$ damages. 1st case: i am still waiting to hear how the average person on the ground in TX and FL could handle life so long without a paycheck when the gov told us the ave person is 1 paycheck away from bankruptcy. how do u earn a check when everythihng is closed due to the flooding?? yes, there will b some cleanup time but even then the company isn't making money then either and the workers will work less hours and need time to clear their own property up. this without adding the lost food costs, hotel bills, extra gas, etc. 1 wk of evacuatiing costs more $$ than the average person had in savings.
the mortgae defaults will occur but aren't totaled yet. how long do u have to be behind before the bank takes your house?some of those banks had damages as well to figure out b4 they do the math. a thread earlier reporteed about 30-35% of the houses will be fixed. that is a lot of loss.combine that with the economic impact it will bring to those cities. that should double the amount.no ppl living theere means no commerce and buying of goods there.no sales tax income.
the gov can print $$ to cover the intial payout but we pay that in higher costs of goods ourselves. a few trillion dollars might seem like it comes from air but it doesn't. we pay for it.
all this damage before summer ended.we still have fall rains and winter.keep cash handy folks u never know what will happen next.

as to the credit debt. those #'s were totals. it is much worse than that. the average person with a credit card is in debt more than a years wages.note: this was before the storms hit.so the average person has more owed out than what they make a yr in income. do u think the ppl holding the paper are going to bet they will b paid off sooner or later??? go read what i have posted many times on this issue.
refresher???: this was what really started the recession. the financial co's and banks sold the credit card debt the same way they did the mortgages. chopped up and sold to overseas countries. they are still beiong paid via higher costs of goods to america. gas went up gave them excuse to raise prices and now oil and gas are back down but not the other prices. did the country not learn the 1st time??? hell no. we will do the same mistakes over and over til we have nothing left. ohhh and guess what the finacial markets are owned by the same ppl. so if the insurance co's loose ,so will wall street and your pensions. all before ppl start cashing in the 401k plans. when those ppl retire and take out of the market what happens then???

Omg. You guys havent learned a thing.

They create funny money out of thin air, lend it to you with interest, keep lending you money until you cant afford to repay. Then they take all your hard assets [gold, land, house, etc.] And forgive your debt in return. Lol. Then they rinse and repeat until they own the whole world.

While we work 40hrs a week like slaves.

What a sad existence.

So since the entire country is 20 trillion in debt, then the whole country is one some kind of FED Res. welfare?

Some people work harder for their welfare money than others.

It is not real at any level.

Except for the thing that the West actually thrives on DEBT because banks make out when debt is needed as long as the payments keep coming in.

If the payments falter FEDS bail out, so bank still makes out.

Bank use all taxpayer/labor money to buy up all hard assets for themselves and drown us in arbitrary fees, make billion off of atm machines but we get no cut.

I remember when quite young get a bank statement showing interest earned on my account even though I had little in it. Now they force accounts on the poor and middle class that give noting and demand everything.

Trump needs to push changes in the BK law back to what it used to be.

Let the underwater consumers, student loan defaulters, et al, declare Chap 7 and lose the banker burden. Sure, they would have lousy credit scores and would have to learn to live without future credit. That is a required learning experience.

This time let the too-big-to-jail banks FAIL and get their assets distributed. Use this crisis as an opportunity to break up the banking market and get consumers back on a healthy savings-and-cash basis.

BK allows the natural removal of financial dead wood.

The economy would quickly recover.
 Quoting: darth 70183558

Darth I completely agree with you! They should let the banks fail, and full chapter 7 would be great. But think about it, after the housing crash of 2008 many homeowners failed, there are millions and millions of folks with bad credit scores because of it. To top it off, we've had massive breaches now in Equifax. The bad guys have your numbers. I've had my identity stolen twice now, and luckily the last perps are serving jail time for it, we get notified every time they come up for parole lol. At some point credit scores are going to be meaningless, they have too. A new form of checks and balances need to be put into place. Oh, hold up, also with medical costs and insurance skyrocketing people have major dr debt too now! The cookie is going to crumble, and crumble, and crumble.

Buy your 25 year dehydrated food and water right here. Lol.rofl

When Wamu went belly up and Chase purchased their assets, they literally paid .06 cents on the dollar!!!! This is a fact, think about that for a minute. All those mortgage holders still paying full boat when their note got sold for .06 cents on the dollar. It's in the Fed disclosure papers for the Wamu/chase transaction, not the public ones. Was just lucky enough to be with a team of attorneys when subpoenaed documents came through, talk about heads spinning.

Another interesting tid bit.

In short, JPMorgan's Board has decided it is time to seriously consider a TEOTWAWKI scenario.

As Son notes, in such an event, any member of the board or the firm’s operating committee can call a meeting using “any available means of communication.” And, just in case everyone else on the Board happens to die, one person will be sufficient to constitute a quorum. Vacancies can be filled by a majority vote of available directors. And if none are around, then designated officers can stand in. No officer, director or employee can be held liable in such a situation, except for “willful misconduct.”

People, this is unbelievable, they have boards so no one person can takeover. In this situation they are stating that in the event of a Disaster and say communications are down, one person can make all the decisions. Jamie Dimon be like WOO HOO!!!

They must be getting ready for something, this is unprecedented.

rather u support TRUMP or not ,u all know the country can't keep going this way. he is our last hope. though i do think the mess is beyond anyone fixing it. it won't stay as it is much longer. either TRUMP fixes something or we are DOOMED. the elite will fight til the end. the clock ticks less than 4 years now.the mess in vegas has them on the ropes. it will either blow up in their faces or we will see event after event happening too quickly to keep up with the made-up news.
stay alert the end is near.

I whole heartedly support Trump, but I think the swamp is to deep and thick, he can't drain it. I give him credit though, he's trying.

The truth of the matter is something big does need to take place to reset everything. Because your right, they won't let go. I hate to think of what it will be, we all feel it coming, don't know what it is, but it's pretty obvious with JP Morgan Chase cHanging their by-laws they know it's coming too.
