My guy is spoiled too. He can get away with a lot, but he's too sweet and helpless to try. He's the best big catcher cat we have, and the best I've ever seen. He uses the sound to pinpoint the locations. He will be four in a few months.

Just precious. I love Russian Blues. One of the few cats we can have in the house because of allergies.

The neighbor kids love my pumpkin.

Parents...not so much.

Field pumpkins (are actually squash) are grown to carve. Pie pumpkins (real pumpkins) are better tasting and smaller. I have used field pumpkins for pie - usually just have to add more spices and sugar but still decent tasting if done right. When I thin my pumpkins after removing the guts, I like to make the shavings into a pie or pumpkin bread. Again, just have to add extra spices and sugar to make it taste like regular pie pumpkins.

i'd trade in leaving this thread with that pumpkin soupe though

Just don't put the seeds in there. Did that one year and supplied the whole neighborhood with pumpkins the next year. I think there were 80 that were carving size, lol

Cherry tomatoes took over my old apartment complex. They came up like weeds. Then the birds came....

Long story short, I live in a different city now.

Gonna try getting mine done tonight. I've had no time to carve this year. It sucks when I've entered every year.
