I beg to differ. We are all connected, so are attached...all consciousness is attached. It is the belief that pain and separation are real that is the source of all suffering. We are not our bodies. Nor are we only
Our minds or emotions. Something much greater than any of those, which are expressions of spirit. I do understand letting go of the attachment to 'getting what we want' in the material sense because it is a virtueless and dead end path, the material existing and not existing all at once. But spirit communes with spirit and so it goes on not following the rules of religion, or your rules for that matter.

It will all work out for the best because she wants it to. There is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to see a loved one, one more time. She is not talking about getting back together. She is looking for simple comfort, and perhaps some closure. But she will know her own heart best in this matter.
