If a person cannot answer why they are here then pondering on how we got here is irrelevant. One thing the evolutionist will never be able to answer is why they exist at all. If a belief is based upon the logic of science to explain how a human got here, then surely this same science can prove why a human got here, right? Well, that answer is no. In that case, since science cannot answer this question of why, there would be no logical or scientific reason to even exist. Thus, no logical reason for how. |

The Science says the beginning point is a big bang. The Creationist says in the beginning God created…… Ok. So, you start from faith by picking one of the two since both require faith. The former requires faith that a big bang happened based upon human scientists proposing a theory about the origins of humanity. The latter requires faith that an intelligent being was the beginning point of humanity based upon the Bible, and faith that although written by humans was inspired by this intelligent being. Then once you pick (by faith) one of the two options, the introspective and thoughtful man must then ponder as to why he got here. This question is where people go in all sorts of directions. This why question, is not separate from the how. One must answer both in order to exist with any sort of purpose to this life on earth. Ask any human being and they will have an answer as to why they exist. It's built into the human to ponder this. (Which is a most interesting feature of humanity) Ask a dog why he exists and you will wait all of eternity for an answer. So, those who can tell me how we got here must also tell me why. The two questions cannot be separated. (Which is also most interesting feature of creation) Sounds logical, yes? |

Quoting: we are the same 75080743 It is SO important for people to recognize this. When it comes to God or the Universe, they both either always existed (laws of physics state energy is eternal), were created by external forces (cause / effect), or created itself (like the big bang). Those are the 3 options we are given for the origins of our Universe, and it takes the exact same logic to believe either way. Please feel free to tell me why you think I'm wrong and I'll gladly try to supply a rebuttal. Atheists and the religious do not use the exact same logic. Atheists believe in nothing, the religious believe in at least one something. Atheism is an empty word or term. It just means someone does not believe in god(s). But most of the atheists live by christian values, morals and standards, because they very well know the natural means behind atheism and acting upon atheism would make them outcasts. |
