What's the range of an electric car? About 90 miles. And then it takes hours to recharge. If China has their way, people will only be able to drive on the "grid". Refueling depots will only be in areas they want their serfs to drive on. Obviously the government didn't think this over. What about agriculture equipment, far away from any power and needs to run all day long? How bout commercial trucks? Trains, etc? :doom360: |

What about agriculture equipment, far away from any power and needs to run all day long? How bout commercial trucks? Trains, etc? The headline says "considering". Lots of details to be worked out, obviously. But considering China's air pollution problem, I can see why they'd want to get more people using electric vehicles to get around. |

"Red Barchetta" It was about the government passing a motor law banning internal combustion engines. Last Edited by Sikhed on 09/12/2017 09:57 PM :doom360: |
