User ID: 75494993 United States 09/07/2017 09:30 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | So right now i am going to a tech school to learn the trade of electrician. i have been doing a little research on how to install solar panel systems in the event of a post grid failure situation. the issue i am running into is finding an affordable way to store the energy collected from the solar panels so that it can be used at any time. does anyone have insight on how to go about obtaining or creating a storage system big enough for a house/neighborhood? This will give you an idea oof what kind of battery setup is required for one household,, which I don't think you have. If it were feasible to power a village with solar, it would be happening.
