Its actually smart to retain DACA as a strategy because it splits those who want DACA from those who want blanket amnesty for everyone. Played correctly, it would create two groups and drive a wedge between them. That's how the game has been played against us for decades. We are talking about allowing less than 1 million people to stay in exchange for getting rid of the others. That's a win IMO. Think big picture. The perfect is not the enemy of the good.
