Why scientific or technical subjects get so little attention here? Very serious question!

FacePalmer posts some very interesting stuff, usually scientific. I enjoy his threads.

I read your stuff but I am not smart enough most of the time to comment on it although I know the official explanation is wrong too

I try to post about controversial subjects, specially about frauds or deceptions on issues adopted by mainstream teaching, but many times I had to resort to "stupid" things to get people involved, like the "brontosaurus mistery", the "farce of original quantum mechanics", the "cult of Einstein, the plagiarist" or similar.

I like to post controversial, anti-stablishment stuff like "how fake are deep space photos" and have a discussion about it, but most of the times people don't care, like this thread.

I'm getting tired of this and I seriously consider to abandon GLP, looking for places where people really care about this things.

Mostly because the butt hurt Hillary fans flood this forum with MSM lies, Trump hate, douchery, and well butt hurt, they have changed the whole paradigm of this forum.

Two years ago it wasn't like this, oh you had political stuff but most was still conspiracy related, UFO, Science, fringe Science, investigating, World conspiracy's. Now it's just hate and political bs that dominate 80% of the total.

No, no! It's not my intention to sound smart!

I only, and humbly, what to CONTRADICT mainstream postulates or theories, pointing at "holes" or "weak spots".

For instance, about "universe", "gravity" or "light". Every person should feel entitled to have an opinion on these issues for a very single reason:

On those three subjects, and as of today, NOT A SINGLE SCIENTIST in the whole world HAVE AN EXPLANATION over those subjects. So, every comment is valid.

THIS IS WHAT ATRACTED ME HERE!!!

And, besides, subjects about Ukraine and Syria, when everything SEEMED to go OFF at any moment.

Now, NK being a non-issue, nobody is interested (for instance) about the misteries around incidents with two Burke class Aegis destroyers, rammed by slow moving cargo ships. No one talk about the possibilities of new weapons that rendered the two distroyers DEAD before the collisions!

It's a conspiracy site, after all.

And most of what I read is: My gf/bf/wife/husband did this, want that, weird and not funny posts about pooping, fapping, blah, blah, blah (plus a lot of US politics, with wich I don't get involved because US is not my country).

I liked GLP from 2014 and before. I've read old threads and this site was way better than today about UFO's, for instance.

If that's what you want why come here? This site exists to distract people away from everything that makes sense. You can find valuable nuggets of truth here though. That's just the nature of this place.

A couple of years before his death Einstein said, in an interview, that after a lifetime researching about it, he didn't understand what GRAVITY or a PHOTON were.

The famous US physicist Feymann said: "If someone says that understand what quantum mechanic is, is LYING"

Popular science (and physicist) Neil deGrasse Tyson said, recently, in a broadcasted conference, that he didn't have an idea abou what Gravity is.

And so, and so thousand of scientists around the world. In particular, cosmologists about the origin, shape and fate of the Universe.
