Central Texas is being destroyed !!! Flooding nightmare

Many roads and Highways are closed and impassable due to water flooding them. Water rescues are everywhere!

Most people in Austin can easily take 19 inches.

Sad about the flooding though.

Have they changed their predictions for rain amounts?
Upwards of 35-50 some inches possibly?
Weather people are saying they've never seen a forecast like that.

I read some reports the coast is looking at possible 5 feet of rain...that shit is sad.

I think Austin is just all the evaporated libtears raining back down.

I have a cousin in Austin. I warned him way before this started and he was just nonchalant about it... said they would only get rain. I told him to think about 5 feet of rain, and he laughed at me. I emailed him this afternoon to warn him again, and about snakes and alligators, but I haven't heard anything back.

Austin is indeed receiving heavy rain.

It started to pick up significantly about 9PM tonight (yesterday evening) and it is still coming down with increased wind gust now at 2:01 local time.


I don't watch the news but I watch the outside.


We've had bigger storms as far as the actual downpour but they didn't last more than two days and were intermittent.

It is flooding at my workplace now.

Old building so it leaks from the roof, but we're at the bottom of a hill and its already coming up from the floor.

If this keeps up there will be significant flooding in areas..

Last time this happened some major streets saw 3 feet of water and local roads were shut down etc.

Time will tell.

Boy do I still have to catch the bus to work.
