I cannot see anything solving anything. There is far too much money and corruption to keep the system headed down the crapper.

I had to "cheat" the system with my taxes for last year to not get penalized roughly 700$ thanks to obamacare.

If something terrible happens to me, i don't want others paying for it - i'll pay myself. But i don't want to be penalized for not having health insurance when i'm completely healthy.

Some very unconstitutional stuff if i've ever heard it.

Government is not required in our healthcare system other than for basic regulation.

Stop following the MSM narrative that government has to fix it.
They need to GTFO in reality.

REPEAL OBAMACARE.....replace it with NOTHING.
Then you let the private markets come up with solutions and begin competing for your business.

WHy is it that no one complains about HEALTH CARE COSTS.

Everyone is focused on affordable insurance to cover those costs.

Take these motherfuckers out at the knees by going to your elected representatives during their campaign rallies and LOUDLY INQUIRING about why medical interests are promoting their campaigns.

These shitweeds in office ARE the problem, NOT the solution.

If you really get down to bedrock with these issues I think the biggest problem is that your ordinary citizens, your friends, family, coworkers, acquaintances and neighbors have all been brainwashed to such a degree that they actually can't grasp the concept that their body has the inherent capacity to heal itself.

They also can't grasp the concept that they are in charge of their own health, that they produce the state of their own health through their actions, that they have so much power, a great deal of power and control over their own health, and that they can act independently of any so called expert or authority in the matter of their own health.

They don't have the ability or desire to read extensively from all angles and think for themselves, do their own research and their own experimentation, and evolve their own flexible and changing attitudes about what is best for them at any given time.

Even if they pay lip service to natural health modalities, when push comes to shove they will always run to the doctor and then bow to the pharmaceutical option.

They buy all the mass media propaganda that insinuates that herbs, supplements, vitamins and minerals are more dangerous than pharmaceutical drugs.

If you tell them that the medical industry is the 3rd leading cause of death in the US killing over 200,000 people every year, it has no effect on their thinking or actions at all.

Even after years of unsuccessful, brutal treatments at the hands of the medical industry, they cannot see through the prison of their own thinking and they willingly go back for more and more. I am talking about my own family members here, who are well-off, educated, clever people. Six surgeries later for the same problem and they are far worse off than when they started, but they have never seriously looked into any kind of alternative therapies or acknowledged anything they might be doing that might be contributing to the problem.

So good luck with medical insurance, as if more access to doctors, drugs and hospitals is going to solve anything.

Health care is so screwed up.

In hospitals, most of the duties now are involved in keeping JCAHO accreditation. Much less time is spent on direct patient care. It's all about administration, accreditation....it's scary.

In pharmacies -- more time is spent on administrative and insurance. Drug interactions aren't even being checked. Drugs kill at least a million people every year....but pharmacies are too busy dealing with insurance problems.

Pharmacists are over-educated, and nobody will allow them to dispense drugs without a prescription, despite the fact that we have more knowledge about drugs than doctors do. Why? Because doctors stand to lose money if pharmacies can prescribe/dispense without a prescription, like almost every other country in the world. It's a joke.

And yet, nurse practitioner, get ONE semester of pharmacology, with OPEN BOOK TESTS, and they can prescribe?!?

And doctors are worse. They are arrogant as hell. When doctors don't know what's wrong (especially in women with chronic illnesses or autoimmune illnesses - instead of admitting it - they call the patients neurotic or crazy.

And hospitals totally know what tests to order so they can make the most reimbursement.

We just need to get health insurance companies OUT of health care. Go back to dealing directly with doctors. Negotiate with the billing person in the doctor's office, not with the health insurance companies.

He is certainly pandering to those who profit from war for if he did not he would find himself on the wrong end of a "lone gunman", but he does stand a small chance against the drug and insurance cartel. In the end the sheep will be sheared, this cannot be changed, but if he can simply eliminate the government MANDATE that forces EVERYBODY to buy unaffordable BS "health care" then he will have done some good. I for one am not holding my breath in anticipation of ANY improvement.

Any expenditure mandated by any government, corrupt or even not corrupt is a clear indication that it is not government but extortion unless a corresponding source of payment for such expenditures is also provided for by mandate. I do not understand why or how unfunded mandates are accepted in any form by a government of the people, by the people, for the people, unless the people themselves are mindless idiots.

Which is exactly what we had before Obama Care, and the insurance companies didn't compete for shit, and they won't compete after Obama Care is repealed either.

Insurance companies don't give a fuck about making people healthy, they only care about making the greatest profit possible and they work together to keep their prices at the highest sustainable rate.

They can't receive treatment in their home countries, the providers would never be paid. Accepting Medicaid requires a state provided Medicaid ID number in order to be paid.

I'm just going with my motto "all leadership is by example" and hoping that people might start noticing that when they keep getting sick over and over all around me, and I'm not getting sick,knock wood, they might ask what I do that's different than what they're doing, that gets such different results. Because when I try to offer information or suggestions not only do people not know what to do with it, but they almost get offended, like I'm accusing them of something.

It's tied in with the idea of victimhood being the highest good. I mean we live in an either/or world right now, so if you're not a powerless victim, then you must be a hateful, exploitative oppressor, right?

So certainly if you catch cold 4 times a winter, it couldn't possibly be anything you have any control over, if you thought you had power over circumstances and events, you'd be some kind of juggernaut power-freak, right?

I mean the mental illness and delusions and confused thinking are running so deep right now that no one can even have a conversation about a topic or subject, everyone is so full of assumptions and jumping to conclusions, they can't just entertain an idea for a minute.

If somebody has to pay $2000 a month with a $10000 deductable I consider this not to be insurance
