"The location and focal mechanism solution of this earthquake are consistent with right-lateral faulting in association with faults of the Lewis and Clark line, a prominent zone of strike-slip, dip slip and oblique slip faulting trending east-southeast from northern Idaho to east of Helena, Montana, southeast of this earthquake."

I was wondering if there was a fault there . So this is probably nothing then . Stike slip faults do pop . Doesnt necessarily mean anything wrong with yellowstone.

I feel anything within 300 miles of the Caldera could signify Magma movement within the deep plumbing of the Yellowstone caldera..since only recently this was found.. the proof will be if they see any changes in the SHALLOW plumbing system or the thermal features.. right now everything is normal so yes.. it is NOT a precursor.. for future earth movement.. but do stay alert.. as things could change very quickly.

16 Quakes now and ALL OF THEM over 2.5.. THAT is significant..

Yes, there is a faultline in Montana that corresponds
to the location of the 7.o pt. MT quake (by the old
Richter scale pre-1980's)...it follows the same river
route that Lewis and Clark took in the 1800's...I
live very close to the fault which is the Clark Fork
River in Montana. EEEK!

cheers

What is amazing to me is the Lei Line that goes down that same area.. take a look here at the Montana Vortex.. Graham Hancock is visiting this lady here in JULY like this month to study the effects!! WOW!
