In Great Falls here, that was crazy! Shook the house a little bit, then a short pause, then it shook for a few seconds. About 5 minutes later it shook some more.

Wide awake now!

I'm feeling little rumbles up this way. Not aftershocks but definitely unsettled.

I just moved up here from southern California, wasn't expecting a big earthquake right off the bat.

Yea, that was the first quake I've ever really felt. True about the temp, quite the opposite right now. Wife an I looked at each other wondering what the hell was going on. Didn't phase my dogs, and I am pretty sure my newborn just thought she was going for a car ride as she didn't budge.

Spokane, WA here, was sitting in the basement, thought a truck had plowed into the house, shook pretty good and left things swinging, then there was a loud boom just like I remember from the '01 quakes. Neighbors didn't hear the boom, anybody else? Supposed to be a 5.8 in Lincoln, MT, felt stronger than a 3 up close.

Just now from IDAHO Statesman: (50% rule)

"Officials confirmed a strong earthquake has hit western Montana.
The U.S. Geological Survey says that area was hit with a magnitude 5.8 earthquake early Thursday about 6 miles southeast of Lincoln.
It had a depth of about 2.5 miles (4 kilometers) and created at least one aftershock"

Well I don't think I'll be sleeping any time soon. Each time I've calmed down a bit we get hit with another. I don't mind an adrenaline rush but I'd rather be sleeping right now. I gotta work in the morning.

And 50% rule Fox News:

""Earthquake swarms are common in Yellowstone and, on average, comprise about 50% of the total seismicity in the Yellowstone region," the University of Utah Seismograph Stations (UUSS) said in a statement on its website. "UUSS will continue to monitor this swarm and will provide updates as necessary."

Though experts at the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) say the risk of the Yellowstone supervolcano erupting is quite low (the probability is one in 730,000), it may erupt again in the future.

There have been three major "caldera-forming eruptions" in Yellowstone in the last 2.1 million years, the last occuring 640,000 years ago. Since then, there have been a number of smaller erurptions, with the last one emitting rhyolite lava, causing the Pitchstone Plateau flow some 70,000 years ago, the UUSS wrote on its website."
