I agree. Sidereal astrology is more accurate & true becayse it's based on where the stars are now, not where they were hundreds or thousands of years ago..

In tropical astrology(new age crap) I'm an aries, in sidereal astrology I'm a pisces. Their article about Pisces describes me 100%. Very cool. I never identified with a lot of the Aries traits. Sidereal is more accurate.

Apparently I'm a Capricorn (as opposed to Aquarius).

I just read the information on it, and Capricorn sounds a bit like me, but it's quite off. I somewhat care what people think about me, but I don't conform if they don't. And, I like to try a method if I like it, regardless if it has been tested or not.

I'm still Scorpio and now, according to this chart, so is my husband, no wonder I like him so much!

Not accurate for me nor most of my loved ones by the dates given.

However the descriptions are amazingly accurate -- i.e. I ignore the dates and read Aries for the people I know as Aries in 'traditional' astrology -- very very insightful!

"spiritual realist" has a MAJOR error on his/her website.

"taurus" is NOT the FIRST house in current sidereal astrology.

just like aries WAS the first house in the AGE of aries, pisces was/is the FIRST house in the AGE of pisces, and aquarius will be the FIRST house, in astrology, in the AGE of aquarius.

the FIRST house/month of the year is determined by which constellation the sun is in on the vernal equinox.

this is why in the "old testament" it was written that "God" said "let the month of the RAM be for you the FIRST month of the year, it was the AGE of ARIES, and the constellation of the RAM (male lamb of God) was behind the sun on the vernal equinox.

I am still the same sign.

Descriptions of each sign are interesting.

Virgo (my moon sign) gets a different write-up than usual - and I relate more to this than anything else I have ever read re astrology!

The wright up for Pisces is right on the money for me but it says I should be Aquarius??? I think I'll stick with Pisces..

I found it to be very accurate--even more than the tradtional. For me, it was more personal--less superficial as with the other one. Originally, Cancer--sidereal Gemini.

I was squarely in the middle of Capricorn, am now supposedly in the middle of Sagittarius. After reading through both, I'd say I fit Capricorn 80 percent or more, Sagittarius maybe 10 percent, so the switch didn't work for me.

Yeah, this is completely off for me. I'm normally a cancer, but in this system I am a Gemini..and I most certainly am not a Gemini (although people don't realize that your personality is more represented by your rising sign than your sun sign).

Now I'm confused! I read what Wiki had to say about Capricorn and Sagittarius and I fit Sagittarius much more closely than Capricorn.

At least I've learned how to spell Sagittarius.

It's probably because your rising sign in standard astrology is Sagittarius.

The sidereal astrology for my birth date is not so accurate.

Virgo here and it sums me up pretty well. Graphic Designer/Photographer/perfectionist..I never really believed too much in this stuff but this seems to have me pegged.

I read a bit about my "true" star sign...I`ve always been a Leo but now find I`m in the Cancer timeframe...some of it was spot on even if it did make for uncomfortable reading...i.e...it said I`m easily offended and in this way I reject others...thank god I read this before I dump my new found girlfriend for not taking things as I thought they should...there is a "god" after all
