Adirondacks Visit in August
Visiting the Adirondacks for a few days this August. It will be my first time to do so. I hear it's awesome and I am looking for some ideas on what to do.

For those familiar with the Adirondacks, please let me know your suggestions. We will be hiking for sure, hit a lake or two, Fort Ticonderoga, have some good food and brews, maybe camp one night, etc.

I am particularly looking for ideas that may be off the beaten path or considered obscure.

I am signing off for work but will check in later.

Many, many thanks for those that chime in! Looking forward to the trip!
