I honestly have no idea what the hell this "deal" even accomplishes or try's to. I know carbon credits this, carbon credits that. I have no idea specifics nor trust agenda driven media.

The masses are freaking, but this is actually a good thing for us. When you have 3 of the biggest tech companies (Google, Apple, Facebook) supporting the Paris Accord & advising the president to not withdraw on a climate agreement; there's your red fucking flag. If you actually read the agreement none of the countries actually have to do anything regarding emissions, only report on it. This agreement was an utter disaster for the economy and horrid attempt at reducing the negative impacts of climate change now and for the future of this planet. It was never about the climate. Remember, you live in a corporate sandbox.

If you go to jella's thread on this subject she probably has the replay of the President's speech. He clearly and concisely explains why it was so bad for the USA and so good for everyone else since, basically, bo signed us up to be everyone else's donor and we got nothing in return but loss of jobs and money.

Why don't you do a little research on this so called environmental savior before spouting off ill-informed sarcasm? How many have said and explained it in this thread that it does NOTHING for the environment but it sure does take our country's money (that includes yours too, by the way) and gives it to other countries who can just go right on ahead polluting with no restraints?
