Jeremiah 23:23


"Am I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off?"

Went to find this for a thread... About heaven and hell.. to get the verses that come with it.


I don't see anyone else listing it..

However..

This SHOULD say..

"Am I a God that is afar, saith the LORD, and not a God at hand?"

This was a verse my grandma would say.. to teach us he was with us. for her funeral service we had Bible bookmarks handed out with footprints in the sand Jeremiah 23:23 on the bottom...

It meant something to me..

No..he is not a far away God..
