Anonymous Coward User ID: 74952729 United States 05/26/2017 07:04 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It's pretty clear it's a free speech issue. Nobody thinks that advertisers have to agree with everything on a news show. This is just bullying to shut up a person who said something you didn't like. Nobody should stand for that. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 70161829 United States 05/26/2017 07:05 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | With all that Sean has done for Vets they should be hammered... I have a USAA credit card and a USAA checking account(use to have their insurance but canceled it last year as I found The Hartford was $600 a year cheaper). I called them today and told them to cancel my credit card account which I have had for 15 years. I also told them I will be closing out my bank account. The rep asked me why and I told her that Sean Hannity has done more to help veterans than any other news station personality - bar none. I bet if they took a survey they would find that most of USAA members voted for Trump (61% of veterans voted for Trump) and if they wanted to be pressured by a left wing group whose members who aren't the majority of your customer base in the first place, well then, you people are idiots and I don't do business with idiots. I then asked her if I was the only one that felt that way. She said she has handled quite a few calls where people were cancelling their cards. She also said the insurance division is getting lots of cancellations too. The one thing you and I can do is to make sure we tune into Hannity when he is on. If you have a TV set which is not on someplace in the house, turn it on also (if you are on cable). They get instant numbers of viewership. |

I spoke to a customer service rep at Vonage for Ring phone systems. I told him that we are going to boycott his company due to the fact that they pulled their ads from Hannity for political purposes. I reminded him of our success at Target and ESPN. I also stated that we were very angry over their use of politics and thus they should expect political backlash when over half the country agree with Sean. That we were especially upset because the other "news" networks were nothing more than Clinton's staff as exposed in wikileaks. If they were going to insist on stifling free speech then they would most likely turn into another failed company. The rep agreed with me I think. His attitude was that he couldn't wait to tell his supervisor. The others I wrote to basically stating the same sentiment. Everyone call or write these companies. "Over half the country"? Did you pull that out of your ass? NO Buttburn, he pulled it out of reality! Now, be a good little slave bitch and go back to your ghetto hole and wait for your execution like a good little bitch! You may also want to contact all of the sponsors in support of him - or not. The list is there for all to see. I think it was written to get people to boycott him but you can always call or write in support . User ID: 74641184 United States 05/26/2017 07:40 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Hmmm....ok, I'm thinking of a tactic right out of Art of War. Don't worry, no one gets hurt, promise! So, the very negative word Deplorables just brings a certain kind of image to mind - redneck, uncouth, lives in cow town, etc. How bout folks go shopping for new mattresses and just happen to put down their bed bug ladened handbags on top of mattress while checking them out? Like I said in an earlier thread (totally unrelated), oh where my mind goes sometimes...hehe This thread made me think back to when die-hard fans of tv series Jericho was canceled and the network was a bit overwhelmed when truckloads of nuts arriving. Gotta' be a fan to appreciate that stunt, they extended it one more season, I recall. And thought struggles against the results, trying to avoid those unpleasant results while keeping on with that way of thinking.
