This event is blatantly fake.

I was hit by a van that ran a red light and I flew 30 feet into the air and combat rolled up the curb. This was after flying over four lanes. No broken bones but I did get 56 stitches and they sewed my ear back together.

Do the English use feet as a measure now? I thought they used meters. Why would he say he was thrown 30 "foot"?

There will be a mistake or two--their always are.
They will get caught, if they faked it again--like on 7/7.

If we're buying timber in a store it'll come as 2.4m rather than 8 feet but if we're talking colloquially, most of us will use feet n inches.
