Re: TWIN PEAKS: THE RETURN - Discuss the past, present and future of all things Twin Peaks
Next up - a review of the Part 3 questions...

PART 3 QUESTIONS

1.) Where is the place of the pinkish purple smoke that holds the cube surrounded by water? Is this just an extension of the non-exist-ent world that Agent Cooper was thrown into by the doppelgänger of The Evolution Of The Arm? We still don't know and I'm not so sure that Agent Cooper has ever left there (he may be imagining all of the Dougie Cooper world). I've been calling it The Mauve World, but we still don't know a lot about it. Other than the fact that it appears to lead to The White Lodge. It probably leads to The Black Lodge as well. At any rate, I don't feel that we have learned enough about this place to get rid of this question just yet.
2.) Where or what exactly is the cube? Not that it needs to BE anything. But what the hell? Is this a real place among the void or is it all just part of Cooper's subconscious? We haven't learned anything further about the cube or the Void that it resides in. Again, we just don't know a lot about it. And certainly not enough to cross it off the list. It may or may not be connected to The White Lodge. Naido WAS there. American Girl is now. If her Mother didn't eat her as she passed through.
3.) Why is the cube suddenly surrounded by space instead of water when they exit through the roof? It was pretty damp just a minute ago. There's been nothing more on this so far. Most of this stuff will probably remain a mystery forever. Or for twenty-five more years.
4.) What or who is the blind seer Asian woman Naido? Could she have any connection to the OTHER Asian woman in the series - Josie Packard (who we last left with her soul embedded in a wooden drawer handle)? Or possibly Josie's (twin?) sister, Judy? I'm not sure that we'll EVER get the answer to this whole cube mystery. This is STILL one of the most important questions in Twin Peaks: The Return. And I believe that we will most likely find out before it's all over.
5.) Who is "mother" that is causing all of the loud banging sounds? Whoever she or it is, they appear to be after our hero, Agent Cooper. Sound seems to really bother "mother". Tracey's screams of passion seemed to really piss off whatever came out of the glass box and killed her and Sam in Part 1. And Gordon Cole is also greatly affected by sound. What does this all mean? And how does it all tie in to the Aleister Crowley tarot deck and the sex magick rituals that he attempted to perform with Jack Parsons and his wife Marjorie Cameron - known as Babalon Working and meant to create a "moonchild". We still don't have any definitive answers to this question yet. But we're getting closer. YIKES!
6.) Where does the outlet labelled #15 lead? Either coming from or going to? Now, you guys all know that the electrical pole in Fire Walk With Me bugs me. I keep thinking that the big "6" on it is a label of sorts. But above the big six you can also see the following numbers - 24810. Which adds up to fifteen. So maybe the fifteen represents the world we have always known and which Agent Cooper is desperately trying to get back to. I'll post the part of Fire Walk With Me that I am talking about at the end of the questions (the pole also emits the Indian whooping sound made by The Man From Another Place/The Arm). Fifteen can also break down to be six (1+5 = 6). Well, that pole sure has come back in style. But we still don't know where Electrical Outlet #15 goes. We may or may not find out. So this question stays for now.
7.) What is the lever on the roof of the cube that causes the number on the electrical outlet to change once pulled? It reminds me of the levers from Eraserhead. In fact, in all the years since, I have never seen anything of Lynch's that resembled parts of Eraserhead like the new Twin Peaks does. There's a very cool cycle of his life's work being displayed in this new show. Again, I'm not sure that we'll ever completely understand the cube and the Void and all of the electrical outlets. I doubt that we'll ever learn the answer to this one.
X8.) Where does Naido go after she is hurled off of the roof of the cube and into space? Is she dead? Is she now non-exist-ent? Did she ever exist in the first place? Or is she a figment of Cooper's imagination? It's looking more and more like we'll just never know. TA-DA! We finally know an answer to one of these questions. It's 253 yards east of Jack Rabbits Palace.
X9.) Why does Major Briggs face appear in space? Is it really there? Or is Cooper just seeing it in his mind? It was obviously in his mind, but why? Was it just another part of his brain waking up to his REAL reality. I think we can call this one as answered as it's ever going to be. And I think more than a face, it was really signifying Major Briggs' head.
10.) Why does the electrical outlet change to #3 and what does this mean? I'm more than halfway convinced that it represents an alternate reality to the one we have been watching for all of these years. I wonder what would have happened if Agent Cooper had gone through the #3 outlet. I'm STILL wondering.
11.) Why is American Girl played by the same actress who played Ronette Pulaski in the original series? Like the Jean-Michel Renault character, I don't believe that Lynch did this just to give these people work as new characters. Mainly because there are a LOT of people who wanted to be included in the new show and weren't. So what does this mean? Is Cooper's subconscious mind trying to jar him back to reality with familiar faces like Ronette and Major Briggs? I do think that Cooper's subconscious mind is filling in gaps with familiar faces. There has still been no good explanation for this.
X12.) Why is Dougie Jones so different - twenty extra pounds, different hair, etc. - from all of the other Coopers? We've been living with two Coopers for awhile now (25 years to be exact), but they look identical. Why is this one chubby with a bad haircut? Is the answer simply that he is "manufactured" and therefore not really real? This has now been answered - for the most part - with Dougie Jones having been manufactured as a Tulpa by the Lodge and then fattened up with too much chocolate cake from an enabler named Janey-E Jones.
X13.) How exactly was Dougie "manufactured" and by who? This question definitely bothers me. How can he be manufactured? Doesn't he live in his world? Wasn't he already there before he got pulled into all of this? Somebody sent two goons to kill him - he's got a life (even if it's a bad one). So what exactly does it mean that "someone manufactured" him? I've got some more thoughts on this, but I'm going to wait until I do a synopsis for Part 4. If Dougie didn't exist before, then there's a good chance that he doesn't exist now and this is all in Agent Cooper's mind as he drifts through the purple smoke of the Void. We now know "who" - Dougie Jones was manufactured by Agent Cooper and Phillip Gerard. Though I doubt that we're ever going to understand the "how" of it all. I'd say that this one is as answered as it's going to get.
X14.) Why does Dougie end up turning into a golden orb? My brain keeps telling me to think - there is an explanation for this. But I am stumped. And now my brain hurts. The answer appears to be that golden orbs are how you make Tulpas. So this one has also been answered.
15.) What's with the burning and puking head that merges with the golden orb? An even harder question to answer. It looked a lot like the head of The Evolution Of The Arm. But burned up and even weirder looking than the original. Still no clue. But it's funny how "normal" the show seems now after Parts 3 and 4. The same thing just happened when Diane's Tulpa went back into The Waiting Room. I'm not sure that we'll ever understand this, but I'm leaving this question for now.
X16.) Who are the two men looking to take out Dougie and who do they work for? What in the heck did poor ol' Dougie Jones do to get a hit squad after him? And how is this going to affect our Dougie Cooper? If they know where he went to bang prostitutes they probably know where he lives and works. We know that the two men are Gene and Jake and that they know a Mikey and phone in info to Lorraine. But we still don't know who they are all working for. This question has been answered since we now know that they were hired - through Lorraine - by Duncan Todd to kill Dougie Cooper.
17.) Why is the drug addicted mother across the street from the house where Dougie and Jade had their rendezvous repeatedly saying "119, 119, 119..."? Being a numerologist, David Lynch doesn't mess around with numbers. You can bet - even if only in his own mind - these numbers mean something. (On a side note, the drug addled mother was played by Hailey Gates who produces and hosts a great show called States Of Undress on the Viceland channel.) Has she been reversed and she is trying to yell out "911" in order to get some help? We'll probably never know. But it stays on the list for now.
X18.) Why does The Waiting Room/Lodges logo hover over the slot machines when Dougie is in the casino? This also makes me wonder just how much of all of this is in Agent Cooper's mind. It reminds me of The Sims. I think it's safe to say that it was because Dougie Cooper was getting help from Phillip Gerard inside The Waiting Room. So this one has been answered.
19.) What is with the case that the FBI is talking about - the Congressman's dilemma - and what is the deal with the clues left? I don't really expect an answer. I just had to ask. Since this case most likely has nothing to do with our storyline we may never get the answer to this question. I doubt that we will ever learn another thing about this case.

Not bad. We knocked off 7 of the 19 Part 3 questions. Next up, the Part 4 questions which I will be back with shortly...

Re: TWIN PEAKS: THE RETURN - Discuss the past, present and future of all things Twin Peaks
I'm back with the Part 4 question review. So let's get this party started...

PART 4 QUESTIONS

1.) What's with all of the King Arthur references - Sycamore Street, Lancelot Court, Merlin's Market - with Dougie Cooper's world? Is it just a coincidence that all of these things in Dougie Cooper's world have names similar to Glastonbury Grove? This is one of the reasons that I don't believe that Dougie's world really exists. We now know that the various portals are all linked to places with real sycamore trees or references to sycamore trees. But why so many OTHER King Arthur references in Dougie Cooper's world?
2.) Why is Dougie Cooper so obsessed with the color red - his house door is red and he stares hard at the casino owner's red dice pen holder? Is it because the color red is so much a part of The Waiting Room/Lodges decor and - like the red curtain/floor symbols hovering over the slot machines - he is automatically drawn to it? Of course, now his "truth" light appears to be green. So, who knows? Add red shoes to the list.
3.) Why is an owl seen flying overhead when Dougie Cooper is dropped off at home in the casino limousine? Another coincidence - or is he being watched by a denizen of The Waiting Room/Lodges? Um... Creepy. And there's no answer in sight.
X4.) Why is Naomi Watts' character listed as Janey-E Jones in the credits? I've checked the Twin Peaks Wiki and various fan sites and no one lists Dougie Jones as Doug-E Jones. So what gives? Is there a connection at all with the movie WALL-E? It's about an abandoned Earth in 2805 where the only thing left behind were WALL-E robot trash compactors which have all since stopped functioning, except for one of them which has gained sentience. I wonder if they have a movie night in The Black Lodge. I'm going to knock this one off since she is supposedly Diane's sister. Which would make the E stand for Evans.
X5.) Who are the people that Janey Jones says they can now pay back with Dougie's casino winnings? This is a follow-up question as to the men who were trying to kill Dougie when he left the housing developement with Jade. We know from the credits of Part 3 that the two men were Gene and Jake and they mentioned meeting back at Mikey's. But is Mikey the boss or do they all work for somebody else? There's still no concrete answers to this one. This one has now been answered. The money was paid back to Tommy and Jimmy who had NOTHING to do with Gene and Jake who were hired by Lorraine for Duncan Todd to kill Dougie Cooper - not to collect any money from him.
6.) Where exactly was Dougie Jones during the three days that he went missing? We joined him on the third day when he was with Jade. But where exactly was he during those other two days and what was he doing? And was he with everyone else that apparently went missing for three days? This is still a valid question. Especially when there's a whole new batch of people that have been missing going on three days now.
7.) Why is Lucy even weirder and more high maintenance than she used to be - does she really not know how cell phones and thermostats work? Not a rhetorical question. I have my theories. There seems to be something seriously wrong with Lucy. Did she lose her son? Is that why the family Christmas picture she has at the Sheriff's station shows their kid to be about twelve? And is that why she is so much more ditzy than she used to be and Andy is even more doting. No more clues to this mystery yet. I'm going to wait until we see the scene from Andy's Fireman visions before knocking this question off the list.
8.) Who is the kid - Daniel Craig - who overdosed in the Twin Peaks High School? Sheriff Frank seemed to know who he was. Is the Craig family important to the updated town of Twin Peaks? We haven't heard another word about the Craig family or the overdose. There's been no more mention of this kid or his family. Or any other overdoses.
X9.) Who is bringing the "Chinese designer drugs" into Twin Peaks? I'm going with Deputy Bobby Briggs. That would be why he became a cop to begin with - to protect the market that he took over after Leo stopped running it. He was upset to learn that a kid in the high school had died and went running off to the bathroom to compose himself after learning about it from Sheriff Frank. Which is also why he was so ready to burst into tears when he saw the picture of Laura Palmer. [In all fairness, this never entered my mind - my wife came up with this one and I think she's spot on.] Now we've seen Deputy Chad take payoff money from Richard Horne, but we still don't know if Bobby is involved in all of this. I hope not, but I think so. I'm going to cross this one off the list since we now know that it was Red with Richard Horne's help and the dirty cop was Deputy Chad Broxford.
10.) What is the deal with Wally Brando and his birthday? Marlon Brando was born on April 3rd. Laura Palmer's body was found on the morning of February 23, 1989. Everything on the show happened within the next few weeks. Lucy was no more than two months pregnant at the annual Miss Twin Peaks Contest in March. Do the math. Either Wally Brando was NOT born on Marlon Brando's birthday or he is NOT Lucy and Andy's real son. Or in this particular reality, Marlon Brando was born in October. Will we ever know what is REALLY going on with Wally? Maybe it will be revealed at Harry's funeral. We're still waiting for more information on this mystery.
11.) When Dougie Cooper touches the mirror, is he remembering his past life? It sure seems like it. But that would be odd considering that our good Cooper - who seems to have escaped the Lodges and entered into Dougie Jones' life and world - never had that particular mirror experience at The Great Northern. That was Evil Cooper. Just how intertwined ARE all of these different versions of Dale Cooper? This does all make sense, however, if everything is just in Agent Cooper's mind as he floats through the Void. I'm leaving this one for now. At least, until we learn more about what Agent Cooper DOES remember.
12.) Why does Dougie Cooper touch his lower stomach when he first lays eyes on his son, Sonny Jim? This is where I'm going to go out on a limb with a theory. Bear with me, this one is bizarre. Remember - at the end of Season 2 when Cooper is trapped in The Waiting Room/Black Lodge and he is being chased by his doppelgänger, he gets wounded in the exact same stomach area and begins to leave a trail of blood as he's running. Could Sonny Jim and possibly this whole Dougie reality have been manufactured with Cooper's own DNA? I think the wound was a direct result of Windom Earle trying to steal his soul but only managing to wound Agent Cooper. I'm still thinking that Sonny Jim WAS made from Agent Cooper's DNA. Especially the way that Agent Cooper acknowledged that he was indeed Sonny Jim's father.
X13.) Why was Evil Cooper found with a dog leg in the trunk of his car? Don't ask me, I'm asking you. But when I first saw it I immediately thought of the odd little piece of music on the Fire Walk With Me soundtrack called "The Black Dog Runs At Night" and thought "not anymore". In the immortal words of Gordon Cole, "what the hell?". We now know that this was a direct threat to Warden Murphy. So this one gets removed from the list.
X14.) Why does Evil Cooper talk so slowly during the prison interview? He sounds like a slightly slowed down tape recording. Is it simply because he lost so much of his fuel - meaning the garmonbozia - that was inside of him? I think that this was simply the effect of time slowed down slightly for the others when they were in his presence. Just like other things slow down in the presence of Lodge beings. So this question is a goner.
15.) Why does Evil Cooper repeat himself like an automaton during the prison interview? Is he being programmed to speak? Is this related to the previous question and the fact that Evil Cooper is currently a little low on fuel? This is still a valid question.
16.) Why was Cooper leaving messages so that "Phillip knows it's safe"? Now that he got past the spewing of the garmonbozia could he be free of BOB or at least free enough of BOB that our old Cooper is really speaking and that he has been working undercover with BOB inside of him to learn "their" secrets. Could that be? Or is Evil Cooper just lying through "his" teeth (literally)? We now know that BOB is still inside of him, but we still don't know what the messages regarding Phillip Jeffries is about. We STILL don't really understand what was going on between Evil Cooper and Phillip Jeffries over the last twenty-five years.
17.) What does Evil Cooper mean when he says, "I never really left home"? Where or what is "home"? I found this extremely creepy. Let's just hope that Agent Cooper isn't just hallucinating all of this while recovering from his Philadelphia experience with Windom Earle and Caroline. It's still creepy and still not explained. Though I believe that it's about to be.
18.) Why is there a deep blue filter used on the final scene in the parking lot with Gordon, Albert and Tammy and what does it mean? It doesn't get any bluer. And it must mean something. Is one of the three of them - FBI Deputy Director Gordon Cole, FBI Agent Albert Rosenfield or FBI Agent Tamara Preston - an actual "blue rose"? It's certainly a revealing scene (in more ways than one). There's no way of telling exactly what this meant, but it remains the only scene in the real world where a color filter was used. Was this just a way to signal that we were going to dive much deeper into the Blue Rose cases?
X19.) What "greeting" was Gordon expecting to receive from Cooper that makes him realize that something is wrong? Cooper said or didn't say something wrong during the early banter of the interrogation that sent up a red flag with Gordon. I'm thinking that it's because of the backwards word when Evil Cooper said, "It’s yrev, very good to see you again, old friend", but until we know for sure, I'm leaving this question. It WAS the backwards "vrev". So this question has been answered.
X20.) How deep does Albert's involvement go with Evil Cooper, the Good or Evil Phillip Jeffries, or any of this? Albert is obviously involved in all of this in a way that, quite frankly, shocked me. Gordon's reaction was mine - utter disbelief. So what else is Albert hiding? There's been no further clues to the depth of Albert's involvement. I now believe that Albert just made a mistake with the "man in Columbia". I think he meant well and was not working in any capacity with Evil Cooper or on the side of The Black Lodge. So I'm knocking this question off of the list.
21.) Who was the "man in Columbia" that Albert sold out to Jeffries and Evil Cooper and what exactly was he up to that got him killed? And does it have anything to do with our story other than to add to just how slimy Albert has suddenly become? We still know nothing more about this. I doubt that we will ever learn any more about this.

Another list of questions done. And we managed to knock off 7 of the 21 Part 4 questions.I'll be back in a flash with a review of the Part 5 questions. So don't go anywhere. There's plenty more to go through...

Re: TWIN PEAKS: THE RETURN - Discuss the past, present and future of all things Twin Peaks
I'm back. And I brought the part 5 question review. So here we go...

PART 5 QUESTIONS

X1.) Who is Lorraine and exactly who does she work for? Who hired all of these people? Evil Cooper? And what about that "Mikey" guy that Gene and Jake mentioned back in Part 4? Is he the ringleader? Lorraine has left this mortal coil so we're down to the question of who ALL of these people work for? We now know that Gene and Jake - and maybe even "Mikey" - worked for Lorraine who was hired by Duncan Todd to take out Dougie Cooper. So this question has been answered.
2.) What does the message "ARGENT 2" mean as well as the number "159"? I'm guessing that the ARGENT stands for Argentina, but what about the 2 (and please note that 159 becomes 15 or 6)? Sweetroll Bandit pointed out that with 160 characters to use in a Blackberry, the number 159 appears in the upper right-hand corner after Lorraine types in the number "2" to let her know how many characters she has left. So that explains the 159, but not the 2. I'm leaving this one for now even though it has probably been as explained as it's going to get.
3.) What exactly IS the black box? Where did it come from? Who put it in the barn in Argentina? And what exactly is it's function? Um... This is still a very important question.
X4.) Why had the John Doe in Buckhorn not eaten for days? Was he a Black Lodge resident like Evil Cooper and therefore had no need for food or sleep (remember - Ruth Davenport was also missing for three days, as was Dougie Jones)? And it looked like Evil Cooper's mechanic, Jack, had also not eaten for a few days. Since we now know that the John Doe was Major Briggs and that he was "hibernating" in the Zone, I'm going to go ahead and cross this one off the list.
5.) Why and how is Dougie Jones' wedding ring in the John Doe's stomach? My brain is having a hard time wrapping around this whole thing - how about all of you? Why would Major Briggs, or a doppelgänger, or ANYONE have Dougie's wedding ring in their stomach? All I can add is that the Owl Cave Ring was on his wedding ring finger. So he must have lost his wedding ring when the Owl Cave Ring went on his finger (sometime during those three missing days). This one hasn't been answered yet. It's STILL very curious that the Major ended up with the ring in his stomach.
X6.) Does Evil Cooper never eat or sleep and, if so, is that true of ALL doppelgängers? And how does this tie in with the other people who haven't eaten for three days (remember that when we first met Evil Cooper's mechanic Jack in the diner he was on his third plate of food like he hadn't eaten for quite awhile)? Remember - the headless body in Ruth Davenport's bed with Dougie Jones' wedding ring in it's belly hadn't eaten for days either. I don't know how he ends up with all of that garmonbozia to throw up, but I think it's safe to say that him and the other doppelgängers and Woodsmen don't have a need to eat and sleep. So I'm knocking off this question from the list. Just think of how much you could get done in a day.
7.) Where does Mike Nelson work? I doubt that it's a Twin Peaks branch of the Lucky 7 Insurance company, but what type of business does he hire for? We have no clues on this yet. We have not seen Mike Nelson again since his interview with Steven Burnett way back in Part 5.
8.) Who is Mike Nelson married to? Could it be Nadine? We have no clues on this yet either. It's not Nadine since it's pretty clear that - for now - she is still married to Big Ed Hurley. So who is Mike's wife?
9.) What kind of tests are being run on Sheriff Harry S. Truman? I'm guessing that it's cancer of some kind and that they're steadily marching us towards a Twin Peaks funeral. At least, now we know that it IS physical and not mental and is probably quite serious. We still don't know for sure, but I don't think the test results were very good.
10.) Who is the Sammy that worked on Sheriff Frank Truman's wife's father's car? I'm guessing that he works at Big Ed's Gas farm, but who is he exactly and who are his parents? If it's not Big Ed's kid - which I doubt from the build - then could James be his father? We haven't even heard Sammy's name mentioned again.
11.) Why does Dougie start crying suddenly when he sees a dejected looking Sonny Jim sitting in the car? The kid looks sad and all, but there seems to be a WAY deeper connection between these two - is Sonny Jim really a young Dale Cooper? Are the tears being shed because Sonny Jim grows up to be Richard Horne? I know, I know, but this is a twisted story so you never know, right? Sonny Jim may be the way that they try to make Agent Cooper sacrifice himself. I'm getting a little worried about this. This has probably been answered as a leaking of the true nature of Agent Cooper and his feelings for his son, but I'm leaving it for now.
12.) Why do both Dougie and Sonny Jim then blink? Could Sonny Jim be blinking backwards in this scene? It's an odd looking blink and if you play it backwards it looks way more normal - so was this done on purpose and because Sonny Jim was made out of Cooper's DNA that he dripped in The Black Lodge he is also considered a partial denizen of the Lodges? It seems to me that someone is using our Agent Cooper's mind and may be controlling it somehow through his own DNA. I'm also leaving this one as a companion question to the previous one.
13.) What is the odd symbol above the Drugged-Out Mother's door? It looks like some sort of rune, but I can't find anything that looks like it at all - anybody know what this symbol is supposed to mean? It does look a little like the Cross of Lorraine, but there's an extra line on the left-hand side. We haven't seen the Drugged-Out Mother or her house with the odd symbol in quite a while.
14.) What exactly are the "episodes" that Dougie has that Janey-E mentions? She makes it sound like he's had a few of them and that they result in him acting similar to the way that he is acting now - so do these "episodes" have anything to do with The Waiting Room/Lodges? Could Dougie Jones have been on the same medication as Phillip Gerard back when he was the One-Armed shoe salesman? There's been no new information about this. And it's probably a moot point now. Just a side effect of being a Tulpa. But I'm leaving the question for now.
X15.) Why is Dougie Cooper obsessed with the statue in the courtyard of his office building (especially it's gun and, at the end of the day, it's shoes)? The statue bears a striking resemblance to Phillip Jeffries (or, more to the point, David Bowie) but I do think that Dougie Cooper is being reminded of law enforcement in general and to Harry S. Truman in particular with the hat and all - could the shoe fixation really be because of the new pair of shoes that Harry bought from Phillip Gerard, the One-Armed shoe salesman? I'm tempted to cross this question off of our list, but I'm not going to do so quite yet. I'm going to finally cross this one off the list since it looks like it was all just part of Cooper's reawakening into being a law enforcement official again.
X16.) What exactly was Dougie Jones' relationship with Anthony Sinclair? Was Dougie Jones siphoning money out of the company along with Sinclair? Were they in this embezzlement scheme against Lucky 7 Insurance together before Dougie Jones got changed into Dougie Cooper? I think we're about to find out when Bushnell finishes deciphering Dougie's scribbles and goes after Sinclair. This has been answered and Dougie was, indeed, helping Sinclair steal money from the Lucky 7 Insurance company.
X17.) What's with the flashing green light on Sinclair's face? This, along with The Waiting Room/Lodges symbols hovering over the slot machines and Dougie's standing around until somebody takes him to pee stuff is reminding me an AWFUL lot of a computer simulation game like The Sims - so could this be a simulation? If so, couldn't Dougie have had a less boring job? I'm going to go ahead and cross this question off of the list since we know that it was all just more help coming from The Waiting Room and Phillip Gerard.
18.) What exactly is Dougie Jones' relationship with office worker Rhonda? Had he been hitting on her for a long time? How many OTHER women was Dougie Jones persuing? And was there anybody else we know? No further info on this yet. We now know that Dougie is no playa. At least, not our Dougie Cooper. Though we never did learn what Dougie Jones was up to with Rhonda. So I'm leaving this question.
X19.) What's with the weird green light on the casino film? Does the casino Supervisor have the ability to change a slot machine to being a loser when alerted by the green light that it's ready to pay out a jackpot? And is this why the mobsters are so convinced that Supervisor Burns was in on Dougie Cooper's winnings? And could Supervisor Burns have been secretly working with Dougie Jones on sharing a "won" jackpot before Dougie Cooper came along and ruined everything by winning 30 of them? I'm not sure if this one is ever going to get answered. I think it's already been answered as a way for the casino management to know when a slot machine is about to pay out and maybe change it. So this question is out of here.
20.) Why does the Drugged-Out Mother have a red balloon on the floor of her house? There was also a red balloon at Dougie's house left over from Sonny Jim's birthday party - could the Drugged-Out Mom's kid have attended Sonny Jim's birthday party? Or did he coincidentally also have a birthday on the same day? Now that Dougie's car across the street is gone, will we ever see the Drugged-Out Mother and her kid again? There's been no real solid answers about all of the red balloons yet.
X21.) Why does the last guy out of the elevator make a strange gesture - and appear to be laughing - as he walks away? Could this be Windom Earle - or somebody else - in disguise and following Dougie Cooper? Or is it a deaf guy giving the "thanks" symbol for someone having given him a good laugh? <My wife made me put in that last one.> Anybody? I think this was a red herring and meant nothing. So I'm knocking it off of the list. Now watch, Windom Earle will show up in the next part.
X22.) Why does the number of red balloons on the artwork near the statue in the courtyard of Dougie's workplace seem to diminish to one by the time that he leaves work? Did they just all pop but one, or does this mean something? I think I may need to go back and count how many balloons were seen to begin with. Unless one of you knows. I'm going with it just being what happens when the balloons are out in the sun all day and crossing this question off the list.
X23.) Is that a protein drink that Nadine is drinking? And, if so, does she still have super strength? And is she going to buy one of Dr. Amp's Golden Shovels? Judging by the way she walked all the way to Big Ed's Gas Farm, I'm going to go with yes - that IS a protein drink that we see her constantly sipping on - and cross this one off the list. Though whether or not she may have regained her super strength is still up in the air.
X24.) Who is Nadine currently married to? Is she still Nadine Hurley and married to Big Ed? Or is it Mike Nelson? Or does some other lucky fellow share in the silent drape runner fortune? Could the Sammy that fixed Sheriff Frank Truman's wife's father's car be HER son? We now know that - as of now, at least - she is still married to Big Ed Hurley. So this question has been thoroughly answered.
X25.) Who is Richard Horne and who are his parents? Is he Ben's kid? He looks a LOT like Jerry - is it his son? Or is it Audrey's little boy? And, if Audrey is the mother, who's the father? John Justice Wheeler? Did he die in the plane crash after impregnating her and is that how she became the billionaire? Or did Evil Cooper impregnate her before leaving the town of Twin Peaks? Or is this a completely different family of Hornes from Deer Meadow? No answers yet, but we learned that he isn't really running the show but merely answering to those that are. Another one answered and removed from the list since we now know for certain that Audrey Horne is/was his mother and Evil Cooper is/was his father. The kid didn't have a chance.
26.) Who is Charlotte - what is her last name and who are her parents? Is this somebody we know's kid? This one is still a mystery. There's nothing new on this yet.
27.) Who is Charlotte's friend Elizabeth - what is her last name and who are her parents? Do we know Elizabeth's mother or father? This one is still a mystery as well. There's nothing new on this yet as well.
X28.) What exactly does FBI Agent Tammy Preston find when looking at Evil Cooper's pictures and fingerprints? One of the fingerprints appears to be reversed, so does Tammy now understand that she is dealing with a possible doppelgänger? And, if so, why does the lettering on the print also seem to be reversed? And has she alerted Gordon Cole to what she has found and suspects? This was dealt with on the airplane with the reveal about the "spiritual mound" or finger. So I'm crossing this one off the list.
29.) Who is Mr. Strawberry and why isn't he taking calls? Evil Cooper got to Warden Murphy bad - is he talking about either something personal like Murphy's dog? Or maybe referring to someone who the Warden had killed (either way, Evil Cooper let Warden Murphy know of his tremendous powers)? No new clues on who or what this is a reference to. We'll probably never find out the answer to this one since Warden Murphy is now dead.
30.) How exactly does Evil Cooper rig the prison's alarm system to go off? Is this all tied in to the prison schematics that he downloaded off of the computer in the hotel room back in Buckhorn? We may never learn the answer to this one. No new clues on this. But it worked like a charm for Evil Cooper.
31.) What does Evil Cooper's code phrase "the cow jumped over the moon" mean? Is this a reference to our Agent Cooper having come out of the Lodges and popped back into reality (whichever or whoever's)? The poem is from around 1765 in London and originally said: Hey diddle diddle, the Cat and the Fiddle, the Cow jump'd over the Moon, the little dog laugh'd to see such Craft,
and the Dish ran away with the Spoon. (Another reference to magic or magick.) There hasn't been - and probably won't be - any more talk about this.
32.) What exactly happens to the black box device when it shrinks down to the size of a silver nugget, why does it do that, and what could it possibly mean? No guesses here, but since it's happening in Buenos Aires, does that mean that it has something to do with Phillip Jeffries? Just what we needed - a new box mystery. I've been completely stumped on this one since it happened.

Cool. We got rid of 13 of the 32 Part 5 questions. On to a review of the Part 6 questions after a quick snack.

Re: TWIN PEAKS: THE RETURN - Discuss the past, present and future of all things Twin Peaks
Time to look back over those Part 6 questions...

PART 6 QUESTIONS

X1.) Who is Dr. Ben and exactly what was he treating Dougie Jones for? Is he a physical doctor or a mental doctor? Was Dougie prescribed any medication for his "episodes"? And will Janey-E now be taking Dougie to see him the next day (since that trip got ruined by her having to meet with the thugs in the park instead)? We've now met Dr. Ben and he seems like a regular - not very on top of things - doctor. And we know that he was dealing with Dougie's medical issues like high blood pressure. I think it's safe to knock this question off of the list.
2.) Why does Dougie Cooper trace the 7 with his finger on the "case files" envelope? The number 7 seems to be popping up on the show more and more lately. Does this mean something? I'm leaving this for now, though I doubt that it means anything more than Dougie relearning how to trace things.
X3.) Why does the traffic light at the corner of Sparkwood and 21 crackle? Does it have something to do with Phillip Gerard in The Waiting Room/Lodge trying to contact Dougie Cooper? This sucker has ALWAYS been a source of weird electricity. And magic. And death. I'm crossing this one off the list - it's just that traffic light at Sparkwood & 21. Always has been - always will be.
X4.) What exactly does Phillip Gerard mean when he tells Dougie Cooper that he has to "wake up"? Does he mean to wake up to who he really is or to wake up from the world that he thinks he is in? This has now been answered - we know that he meant that Agent Cooper had to wake up from his Dougie stupor.
X5.) What exactly are the greenish "truth" lights that Dougie Cooper keeps seeing in relation to Anthony Sinclair and why? They seem to only have to do with Sinclair related lying. We now know that it was all Phillip Gerard via The Waiting Room helping Dougie Cooper out at every turn. So this question has also been answered.
6.) Why did Dougie Cooper mark Detective Loomis and Detective Stockton on the "case files"? Were they actually helping Anthony Sinclair with his embezzlement scheme? I'm leaving this one for now simply because the cops that we know about that were helping Sinclair were not Loomis and Stockton. We still don't know exactly who Loomis and Stockton are.
7.) Who is Mary Anne and what else does she do in Twin Peaks? Do we know either of her parents? And exactly how does Red know her? Is she the one who gave Steven Burnett something in Part 15?
8.) Why does Red talk about having liver problems and then grab a part of his body that is closer to his appendix? Is Red The Magician (or Magickian) even from around these parts? We have learned virtually NOTHING more about Red and his medical issues.
9.) Why does Red like the movie "The King And I" so much? You'd think he'd like Fight Club or a good Tarentino film much more. We have learned virtually NOTHING more about Red and his movie preferences.
10.) How does Red perform the magic with the dime - first floating it in the air, then having it land in Richard's mouth, then returning to Red's hand? Does this cat actually have powers? Could he be the grownup version of Pierre Tremond - the kid that made the cream corn disappear? We have learned virtually NOTHING more about Red and his ability to perform magic.
X11.) Why did Carl Rodd move the Fat Trout Trailer Park closer to the town of Twin Peaks and when did he do it? Was it HIS choice or somebody else's? This question has been answered. Apparently he did it in order to be closer to the town of Twin Peaks. And it is said that the move was made sometime before or around 2010.
12.) What exactly DOES Carl do in town every day and who does he know and see there? We know he goes to the RR Diner because he was drinking one of their coffees in the park. We haven't learned anything else about Carl's town habits.
13.) Is the Linda in the Fat Trout Trailer Park the same Linda mentioned by The Giant (or ???????) during Part 1? And, if so, how is she involved with a Richard? All we know is that it was the Fireman who mentioned her. Who she is remains a mystery. For now.
14.) What exactly happened to Linda during the war that put her in a wheelchair? And will her "electric" wheelchair be what drags her into all of this? We have learned literally NOTHING about Linda since she was mentioned here in Part 6.
X15.) Who did Miriam Sullivan order the regular RR Diner coffee for? Do we know this person or care that she's bringing them a coffee? She mentioned that it was for a mom - could it have been for the mom whose kid just got killed by Richard Horne? I don't think it really matters, so I'm crossing this one off of the list.
16.) How and why did Miriam leave such a large tip that she can't afford on a teacher's salary? Is she possibly selling some of that "Sparkle" drug to her students for a little extra cherry pie money? Could Miriam possibly be Mary Anne, the newly heard of drug runner in town (and friend of Richard Horne AND Red)? We still don't know why she left that big tip or how she could afford it.
X17.) Why and how did Carl Rodd see the boy's soul drift upwards looking like a burning fire? Did Carl mutter "God" under his breath because the boy's soul was innocent enough to bypass the electrical wires and not be sucked in and used by the Lodge denizens and therefore is now with God? I think it's safe to say that Carl Rodd - due to his connection to the Lodges that we still don't fully understand - is privy to things (like Cooper) that the rest of us just can't see. I'm calling this one done.
18.) What does the red square on Mr. Todd's computer screen mean? Is this someone alerting him that he needs to activate the midget assassin? And, if so, who is it that puts the red square on the computer screen and orders it? We never really learned the significance of the red square.
19.) Why does the Drugged-Out Mother begin saying "119" again in what appears to be reused footage from Part 3? Is this being used as a marker like the two different scenes of Sam and Tracey in Parts 1 and 2 so that they can be lined up for us to then view something else? Is Lynch showing us a brand new way to view film? I still think that it's what I call a link point. And, for the most part, that is why it was shown again. But I'll leave this for now.
20.) What exactly is Ike 'The Spike' Stadtler doing with the dice and notebook before he receives the white envelope with the hit orders? Is he determining some kind of probability? And, if so, a probability of/for what? We never did learn what Ike was doing. It didn't seem to really help him out much, though.
X21.) What exactly did Bushnell Mullins find in the "case file" reports that Dougie Cooper gave him? Did he see that Anthony Sinclair is embezzling money from the Lucky 7 Insurance company? And will he have Sinclair arrested before Sinclair can confront Dougie Cooper? My guess is no. Well, Bushnell saw the embezzlement. And he WAS going to put Sinclair away before he agreed to testify against Mr. Todd. Though there's not much to testify against anymore. At any rate, Bushnell knocked this question out.
X22.) Why do two new thugs - Tommy and Jimmy - go to meet Janey-E and are they connected to Gene and Jake and do they all work for the same person? What happened to Gene and Jake and the Mikey that we never really met? And do they all work for the same person Lorraine was working for? And Mr. Todd? And Ike? Can I get a new scoresheet? This question has also been answered. Tommy and Jimmy were collecting the debt that Dougie Jones racked up whereas Gene and Jake (and maybe the mysterious Mikey) were hired to actually kill Dougie.
X23.) Will Ike 'The Spike' Stadtler have to go and get a new custom ice pick made before he goes to take care of Dougie Cooper? I'm guessing yes, but it won't take long. Um...he didn't. But he probably should have. And he can't now. And this question is as gone as he is.
24.) Is the place where Richard Horne goes to clean up his truck a regular meeting place for the drug trade in Twin Peaks? If so, that would explain the other abandoned cars and trucks in the area and why Richard knew that he could safely use it. But I'm hoping that somebody finds that bloody rag. We don't know anything more about the truck trade-off spot yet.
X25.) What are the papers that Hawk finds in the stall in the bathroom at the Sheriff's Department? They've got to be the missing pages from Laura Palmer's diary that mentions Dale Cooper being stuck in the Lodge which will lead Hawk to Glastonbury Grove. This one has been answered - it was three of the four missing pages from Laura Palmer's diary. What we still don't knbow is where the hell that fourth missing page is and exactly what is on it.
26.) Is there a reason that Deputy Chad goes from trying to use the bathroom in one scene to sitting in the Communications Room in the next? It's probably nothing, but if either scene is actually out of place chronologically, it could mean that it's a place marker for viewing two or more scenes at once later like the Sam and Tracey match ups. Just saying. I just hope he washed his hands.
27.) What IS wrong with Sheriff Frank's wife's dad's car? Is there ANYTHING wrong with it? Does she even have a dad that is still alive? Is all of her madness really just grief from their son having committed suicide? There's been no new updates on Doris' father's car.
28.) Could Frank and Doris' son be named Richard? Did he and Linda over in the Fat Trout Trailer Park serve together in the war? Were they both hit by the same mine ("two birds with one stone")? I doubt it. But until we know exactly who Linda is, I'm leaving this one.
29.) Why does Deputy Jesse Holcomb begin staring off into space when Deputy Chad starts fake crying and mocking Frank and Doris' son's suicide? Was Jesse a good friend of his? Or were they more than just friends? All I know is that Jesse is fucking weird.

Alright. We managed to knock 11 of the 29 Part 6 questions off of the list. That's progress! So it's upward and onward to Part 7...

Re: TWIN PEAKS: THE RETURN - Discuss the past, present and future of all things Twin Peaks
Okay. I made a fresh pot of coffee and now I'm all ready to go. So here is the Part 7 question review.

PART 7 QUESTIONS

1.) Where is the fourth missing diary page, what's on it, and who hid it and why? I'm guessing that it was Harold Smith and that he ripped it out of the diary because Laura Palmer made fun of him and his lovemaking on that page. It's got to have something Earth shattering on it. I wonder if we'll see it before the end of Twin Peak: The Return.
X2.) What were the results of Sheriff Harry S. Truman's tests? From the fact that Sheriff Frank didn't then let him in on what Hawk had found, I'd say that the results were not good - it sounded like they were even going to keep him there at the hospital (if not a hospice). I'm going to go ahead and say that the results were bad and remove this question. After all, we know that poor Harry is now in a doctor's care. Most likely, it's a hospice situation.
3.) Why can't the farmer talk to Andy when asked about the truck? I'm thinking that Richard Horne is at that very moment inside the farmer's house. I thought that the farmer was Billy. But I no longer think that's the case. At any rate, we still have not seen this farmer guy since Andy talked to him. In fact, the last we saw his front door was swinging open ominously.
X4.) What does Doc Hayward mean when he says that Agent Cooper had that "strange face again" when he saw him at the hospital? What kind of face was Evil Cooper making? Was it his "how's Annie" face? I'm knocking this one off the list since I'm sure that it was just a not-quite-human look that any doppelgänger would give you.
X5.) Did Evil Cooper visit Audrey Horne when she was in a coma and did he rape and impregnate her? That would mean that Richard Horne is possibly his son. Or, he could have been visiting Annie who was probably also in intensive care in order to get the ring back (which he might have found on one of the nurses who stole it from Annie during a scene from The Missing Pieces). I'm also crossing this one off the list since we have EVERY reason to believe that the answer to this is yes.
X6.) How can the now deceased Major Briggs only be in his late forties if just killed when he should be in his early seventies? You got me. Unless he's been residing in The White Lodge himself and only being sent out for special missions to keep track of Evil Cooper. We now know about the "hibernating" factor inside the Zone. So this question has been answered.
X7.) Who and/or what is the blackened figure that is walking down the hall when Lieutenant Cynthia Knox is on the phone with Colonel Davis and again when she is in the Morgue with Detective Dave Macklay and CSI Agent Constance Talbot? Whoever it is, I believe it is important. Could it be one of the two woodsmen last scene at that meeting above the convenience store? Or could it be the charred body of Major Garland Briggs that died in a fire in late March of 1989. Yet another question answered since we now know that it was a Woodsman (though we don't know if Lieutenant Knox actually saw the Woodsman or was unable to just like FBI Agent Tammy Preston and Detective Dave Macklay).
8.) Why does FBI Deputy Director Gordon Cole have a picture of an ear of corn on his wall? Does he really just like corn? Or is it connected to his knowledge of garmonbozia? This has been recently brought up again on this thread. And I don't think that we've arrived at a definitive answer yet.
X9.) Is Gordon Cole not quite as deaf as he makes himself out to be? He seemed to be able to hear Albert better than he was making it appear. With his new hearing device, is he just so used to saying "what" that he says it automatically? I think that they use it in a number of different ways - to make people think that Cole isn't quite with it, as a means of talking code with Albert, etc. Obviously, from the scene in Part 7, Gordon can hear a little better than most people - other than Albert - think. So I'm calling this question finished.
X10.) What did Gordon Cole mean when he said to Diane that it "involves something that you know about, and that's enough said about that"? Was Diane aware of the Blue Rose cases? It's got to either be the Blue Rose cases that she knew about or just the fact that Cooper had changed. Either way, I'm calling this one done.
X11.) What exactly is the code being flashed by the airplane? I have no idea (see below). We now know that it was a musical code (which esoteric Morgan called from the beginning). So this little mystery is finished. Though why it leads to the "Windom Earle Motif" - just like the RR Diner scene at the end of this same Part 7 - is still a BIG mystery.
X12.) What does Gordon mean when he tells Tammy that the ring finger is the "spiritual mound"? This one will take a lot of research to fully understand. But that finger is known in palmistry as the Sun Finger. I've found enough additional information that I think I should remove this question from the list. The Mound of Sun is the foundation of the Sun Finger. Meaning that the Sun Finger represents how one handles and exactly what ones nature does with the potential energy within ones soul that is indicated by the Mound of Sun. You can read more about it here - [link to www.spiritualsecrets.info]
13.) When and for how long did Evil Cooper live in Rio de Janeiro? He looks pretty well off. (This was actually the home of mobster Al Capone for awhile and this picture is of one of Al's cousins coming out of the house and they photoshopped in Evil Cooper.) We haven't learned any new information yet about Evil Cooper's time down in South America.
X14.) What exactly happened the last time that Evil Cooper saw Diane at her house? I believe that she consented to have sex with him but that it turned weird. When she told him to stop, he didn't. So he essentially raped her. Well, we know all about this night now. The information about Major Briggs that was asked for, the rape, and the overall abuse. So this question is out of here.
15.) How can Andy afford a Rolex watch? That's a pretty expensive watch for a cop that's NOT on the take for letting illegal drugs come into Twin Peaks. We still don't know anything more about the watch. Or the date. But I think that the idea that the date changing function is broken and THAT'S how he could afford it is most likely correct.
16.) What happened to the farmer that made him miss his meeting with Andy on the logging road at 4:30pm? I think Richard killed him. But we did get our first 430 with Richard. There's just no sign of Linda or any birds or stones. We don't know anything for sure yet. But from the other things that Richard did before leaving town, I'd say that it doesn't look good for that farmer.
X17.) Who are the two people that Evil Cooper says Warden Murphy does not want coming around the prison if anything should happen to Evil Cooper? Jeffries for one? Good or Evil. A Briggs? The Hutchens family? I think it's safe to say that he was talking about Gary 'Hutch' Hutchens and his wife, Chantal. And Evil Cooper was right - Warden Murphy DIDN'T want those two coming around. So I'm calling this one answered.
18.) Who exactly is Joe McClusky that Evil Cooper mentioned to Warden Murphy and what happened to him? And will we EVER get the answer to this one? I hope Warden Murphy screws up with Evil Cooper so that we do. We will probably NEVER learn the answer to this one now that Warden Murphy is dead.
X19.) What are the reports that Dougie Cooper is scribbling on and what exactly is he scribbling this time? The scribbles look different. I need to dig into blow ups of this stuff in order to even begin to decipher it. We now know all about the false insurance scams run by Anthony Sinclair. So this question has been answered.
20.) Why did the little girl say that Ike 'The Spike' Stadtler smelled funny and what exactly did he smell like? Did the little guy pee himself or is it kinda like that deadly garmonbozia smell and maybe from some Lodge peeps. There's been no new information about Ike's scent.
X21.) What was the bloody clump that the police found on the gun and where did it come from? If you freeze frame the gun being pried from Ike's hand, you can see that his palm is wounded. So I believe that it came from him. But why? Did our Agent Dougie Cooper "squeeze his hand" SO hard that some of the skin came off? I'm knocking off this one since we now know for sure that it was literally the skin off of the palm of Ike's hand.
22.) What is the weird humming sound that Beverly Paige discovered in the Great Northern Hotel? We all want it to be Josie. But could that be? Keep in mind, it started happening as soon as Agent Cooper went through the electrical wall plug and popped out in the Dougie Jones world. We still don't know what this hum is all about. But I imagine that we will learn soon.
23.) What exactly is wrong with Beverly Paige's husband, Tom Paige? It looks like cancer to me. But we don't know for sure yet. There's been no new information about Tom Paige. Other than the fact that he looks a little bit like Moby and therefore a little bit like the guy that was in the picture with Evil Cooper next to the glass box in the New York City penthouse.
24.) Has Tom messed things up for Beverly at a previous job by his jealousy and possessiveness? She sure made it sound that way. Of course, his constant jealousy was always bound to send her into another lover's arms. Hello, Ben! Again, there's been no new information about Tom Paige.
25.) Who calls Jean-Michel Renault at The Roadhouse to complain about someone else's two blond whores? I'm gonna guess that it's Red. But we may never know. There's been no new updates on this or on who exactly Jean-Michel Renault is. Which, as you all should know by now, bugs the HELL out of me.
26.) Who was the person who actually ordered the two blond whores from Jean-Michel Renault that the person calling was complaining for? Ah, that's a better question. But does it matter? I guess we'll find out if we need to. Again, there's been no new updates on this.
27.) Why does Evil Cooper's jail cell change from #28 to #27 between going to see Warden Murphy and being released just a few hours later? This may seem like nothing, but I believe that just like in so much of Lynch's work, I believe that we are seeing two realities. Though apparently, we should be calling them two (or more) different timelines. This is still a yrev, very valid question since there now appears to be possibly THREE different timelines going on - the normal one, the one that is being "dreamed", and the wonky Black Lodge Roadhouse-that-isn't-really-The-Roadhouse timeline.
28.) Who is the Billy that the man named Bing runs into the diner to ask about? I'm thinking that it's probably the farmer whose truck was used by Richard in the hit and run of the little boy. The question will then be whether or not Billy gets blamed for the hit and run (and only the schoolteacher Miriam really saw Richard's face). Boy, the "who is Billy" mystery sure has blown up. Thanks in part to Audrey Horne. And we're not any closer to answering this one.
29.) Why do the patrons change during the diner scene so much? You know what I'M going to say. But I'll admit that in THIS case maybe it IS just a time lapse and not some kind of alternate town of Twin Peaks. Though the jury is still out on that one. No further comments on this mystery. Things are just plain weird in the town of Twin Peaks at this point. So who knows?
30.) Who is the person that Deputy Bobby Briggs is sitting with? He doesn't look like a drug runner. More like another cop. But not really a cop that would be on the take. He looks pretty straight and trustworthy. I doubt that it's important or means a damn thing, but I'm leaving this one for now.
31.) Why is the "Windom Earle Motif" music woven into the end of the Santo and Johnny song as the credits roll? I JUST discovered this a few hours ago. Does that mean that Windom Earle is indeed back? Is he in the diner while the music is playing? Is he in one timeline but not the other? The Windom Earle stuff planted throughout Twin Peaks: The Return is creepy, to say the least. I don't think that he is returning in any form. But his spirit is certainly hovering over everything.

There you have it. We were able to knock off 13 of the 31 Part 7 questions. I'll be back with the Part 8 question review after a quick nap.

Re: TWIN PEAKS: THE RETURN - Discuss the past, present and future of all things Twin Peaks
I've been waiting for this one. The review of the questions from the infamous Part 8. So here we go...

PART 8 QUESTIONS

X1.) Where exactly is The Farm and who else is there? Maybe the Hutch's - one of whom was at the hotel with Evil Cooper when he killed Darya? This one has been answered. And with a "surprise" guest - Richard Horne.
X2.) Did Ray Monroe ever really get the coordinates from Hasting's secretary - Betty - that Evil Cooper wants? It sure seems like he did if he was going to dare to blackmail Evil Cooper for the information. Apparently, the answer is yes. So this one also gets knocked off the list.
3.) What exactly WERE the Woodsmen doing to Evil Cooper and for what purpose? Were they there to help Evil Cooper or to protect BOB. I'm guessing that it was to protect BOB. This question remains since we don't even know for certain that BOB is still within Evil Cooper (though, judging from Evil Cooper's arm wrestling skills, he probably is).
X4.) Why did Ray slow down when the Woodsmen were doing their ritual? Does that mean that time moves differently for them than for us? I think so. EVERYBODY seems to slow down in the presence of Lodge entities. So I'm going to call this one done and wipe it off the list.
5.) What exactly DOES Ray know about the Lodges? And who told him - some version of Phillip Jeffries? I'm leaving this one for now even though Ray is a goner. Because, for all we know, he IS a Lodge entity and may even come back before it's over. Who knows?
6.) Why does the MC at The Bang Bang Bar (aka The Roadhouse) look almost EXACTLY like Little Jimmy Scott - the Black Lodge singer? We're talking spitting image here. I knew Little Jimmy had died a few years ago so to me it was like looking at a ghost. And I wasn't surprised at all to hear him introduce the band by an odd name. I guess the question is - is the MC the same person who at one time sang "Sycamore Trees" inside The Black Lodge (or, more specifically, The Waiting Room since I'm not so sure that we've seen a lot of the actual Black Lodge)? I still think it's because this is a Black Lodge/Waiting Room version of The Roadhouse.
7.) Why is Nine Inch Nails introduced and credited as "The" Nine Inch Nails? Could this finally signify once and for all that there is an alternate timeline going on in this story - one in which "The" Nine Inch Nails never made it quite so big and still play dives in towns like Twin Peaks? Again, I think it's because they were performing in a Black Lodge/Waiting Room version of The Roadhouse.
8.) Did the Trinity Nuclear Test literally create the "non-exist-ent" world? Was the non-exist-ent world already there and we opened a gateway to it? Or did the blast create the non-exist-ent world? We don't really know if the "non-exist-ent" world existed before then.
X9.) Did the Trinity Nuclear Test bring fire elementals to our world? It seemed to have opened the doorway to some very fire oriented worlds. And we are a waterworld. Is THAT one of the main divisions between our worlds? I think we can safely assume that the answer to this one is yes. They are definitely fire beings of some kind. Elementals? Perhaps. Either way, they dig their fire and I'm crossing this question off the list.
X10.) Was the convenience store in (or ONLY in) our dimension? It seemed to be moving in and out of focus a lot. So was it solely in our dimension? Or did it exist between two worlds? At the end of the convenience store scene in The Missing Pieces, it clearly shows two different timelines merging (and Robert Engels has even commented on this). I think we've seen enough to know that it does, indeed, move around. So this question has been answered.
11.) Is the tunnel seen connected somehow to the glass box in New York City? It sure looked like the tunnel that could have dumped something inside that box in New York City. We may never know for sure. It's ALL connected somehow.
12.) What exactly is inside all of the eggs that were released by the Experiment? Do they ALL hold frogroaches? And were they all sent to Earth? A good question. And one that we aren't any closer to answering yet.
13.) Was the BOB glob let loose by the Experiment an actual egg or something else? I think the BOB sac represents the bad (or evil) that ALL of the eggs contain. By the end, it looked a lot like Invasion Of The Body Snatchers, if you ask me. And that's not necessarily a good thing. Another good question. And another one that we aren't any closer to answering yet.
14.) Was the golden bubble seen inside the fire an alternate timeline/reality or something else? This is one of the most confusing things to me. The rest seems somewhat easy to interpret - whether rightly or wrongly. But the golden bubble is seen long before the golden Laura orb, so it's not that. Seems to take over the screen and then we are inside it with the eggs. It's almost like only the one version of the Earth - the one that had released the bomb - received the bubble with the eggs. Which means that there is hope that there is an Earth out there somewhere that DIDN'T do a Trinity test and receive the Experiment's eggs. OR the golden bubble itself actual contains The White Lodge that we then visit shortly thereafter. We may never know for sure. But we're getting closer to understanding all of these different timelines.
15.) Does the red tint on the eggs represent the fact that they are fire elementals or beings? I do believe that this is turning into a power struggle between fire and water beings. It's still hard to know exactly what to call any of these things. Or whether or not the red tint on the eggs meant anything other than the way the footage was filmed.
X16.) Is the building on the rock cliff in the Sea of Mauve actually The White Lodge? I do think that we have FINALLY seen The White Lodge. Starting with that opening scene in Part 1. Which means that Agent Cooper ends up THERE and not safely tucked away in his bed at the Great Northern Hotel. Somehow he gets back to The White Lodge and ???????. I'm going to go out on a limb and knock this question off of the list. Because I do believe that this IS The White Lodge. On the other hand, we either have NEVER seen The Black Lodge or it's one of the ugly alternate timelines - like the one with the "sick girl" throwing up the green bile or the one with the phony Roadhouse and "The" Nine Inch Nails performing.
17.) Is the building the same one that Agent Cooper fell into at the start of Part 3? This is a tough one. I don't think it's the same building. But it looks to be in the same plane of existence with a similar mauve ocean. Perhaps the place that Agent Cooper got dropped into in Part 3 was actually part of the real Black Lodge? We don't know anything more about this place yet.
18.) Who is Senorita Dido and where did she come from? The word "dido" is defined as a mischievous or capricious act. According to Greek and Roman mythology, Dido was the founder and first queen of Carthage (modern-day Tunisia). Of course, none of this answers the questions about OUR Senorita Dido and exactly who she is. Senorita Dido and her origins are still a big mystery.
X19.) What are the bell devices scattered throughout the building? The similar looking bell devices built by the Germans in the 1930's were said to be scrying devices. We've now seen one used as a sort of scrying device with Phillip Jeffries. On top of the Fireman using one to view details of what was happening in our world. So I think this has been answered and I'm removing it from the list.
20.) What exactly was the alarm alerting ??????? and Senorita Dido to? Was it the bomb that caused the alarm to go off? Or was it the Experiment expelling BOB and the eggs into the world that alerted The White Lodge residents? We never did learn a definitive answer to this question.
21.) What exactly is the golden orb with the image of Laura Palmer inside of it - an egg of some kind? Like the BOB sac, I think that the golden Laura orb represents a counter - the good, so to speak - against the BOB forces that were released by the Experiment. Like the BOB sac, I don't believe that the Laura orb is an actual egg. We don't know yet, but may be finding out before it's all over.
22.) What is the device that sucks in the golden Laura orb and then spits it out over the picture of the Earth? To me, it looks like a giant old phonograph with a tone arm. Deplorably Charlotte pointed out that it resembles a fallopian tube. But since we don't know for sure, I'm leaving it for now.
23.) Where exactly was the golden Laura orb sent? It looked like it was heading towards the Pacific Northwest. Unless it decided to take a side trip to New Mexico. I'm still thinking that it landed in Twin Peaks, Washington, but I'm leaving this question for now.
24.) What is the frogroach thing that hatched and how many of them fell to Earth? I'm guessing that a LOT of them made it to Earth. The question is - what did they do to the people that swallowed them? Like I can answer this one! I wonder if we're going to learn more about these things in the finale.
25.) Who is the young boy that was walking the young girl home? Do we know him? Could his name be Richard? Well, it wasn't a Richard. But we still don't know WHO it was. If the girl ends up being Sarah Palmer it could end up being Leland. But I doubt that since Leland's family were supposedly from the Twin Peaks area.
26.) Who is the young girl that the young boy was walking home? Even MORE important - who is this? And could her name be Linda? It's looking more and more like it is Sarah Palmer. But until we know for sure, this question remains.
27.) What song did the young girl like? Not that it really matters, but as a songwriter I'd like to know. It may sound silly, but this little nuance touched me in a really odd yet deep way. I doubt that we will ever learn the answer to this one.
X28.) Why does the "gotta light?" Woodsman float down from the sky? Did he "drink deep and descend" here? From reading some of the stuff on the Zone website, it looks like it has to do with density levels and what occurs when these beings move from their dimensional realm to ours. So I'm going to go ahead and call this one answered.
29.) What does the smoking Woodsman mean when he continually asks, "gotta light"? Is he THAT addicted to cigarettes? Or is he making sure that he only goes after the uplifted Earth beings that have already discovered fire? Or does he - like his other buddies - just enjoy some nice fire (to walk with)? And why exactly does he seem to be the ONLY Woodman with a nicotine habit?
X30.) Why does the middle aged couple in the car slow down when approached by the smoking Woodsman? Like Ray Monroe, these two seem to move slower when in the vicinity of the Woodsmen. The question is, does time slow down for us or is time just moving faster for them? I'm knocking this question off of the list since we've seen this slowing down thing before when Ray Monroe was surrounded by Woodsmen. It appears that time slows down for us when we're in their presence.
31.) Is the young girl getting walked home new to town? She asks the young boy questions that makes it seem like she doesn't know the town all that well. Or, at least, that's how it came across to me. We'll probably never know the answer to this one (not that it matters).
32.) Who is Mary that the young boy was dating up until recently? Do we know her and is she important to the story? I doubt that it has anything to do with the various Mary's that we have been hearing about in Twin Peaks since this was so long ago. But the question remains for now.
33.) What does the smoking Woodsman do to the receptionist that causes her to split in half so suddenly? And is this the same fate that Jack the mechanic received at the hands of Evil Cooper after switching out his car for him? Does the time moving at different rates of speed cause this to happen? I believe that it's a vibrational thing. Though I'm leaving this question for now since we haven't gotten a definitive answer to it yet.
34.) What does the smoking Woodsman's poem mean that he keeps reading over and over again? Is it a call for other beings to come on down to Earth and feed off of our pain and suffering? There certainly is no shortage of that here. Or was it a signal for the frogroach to march into the young girl's mouth? I don't know, but there's an interesting parallel with the boxing loop on Sarah Palmer's television that I'll get into after the Part 16 synopsis this weekend.
35.) What exactly happens to the girl after she swallows the frogroach? Did she immediately change? Has she yet to change? Will we get to see her change? We may be watching her change right now if it IS indeed Sarah Palmer.
36.) Why do the smoking Woodsman's eyes turn so white after killing the DJ? It looks like he took that disc jockey's garmonbozia as a snack for himself. I have heard that killing radio DJ's does take a lot out of you. But somebody's gotta do it. Those same white eyes can be seen on the Woodman that Evil Cooper finds sitting down next to the old timey radio in the house above the Convenience Store.
37.) Why are horses heard to be whinnying as the smoking Woodsman leaves the radio station? And exactly how is this connected to the pale horse we have come to know so well on the show? Especially through Sarah Palmer's drug induced visions. Could this be further evidence that the frogroach crawled into a young Sarah Palmer's mouth after all? It looks like the pale horse and it's rider are getting closer to the town of Twin Peaks.

That's it for the Part 8 questions. We only managed to knock 9 of the 37 questions off of this list. Next up, the Part 9 question review. Either later tonight after I finish up with band practice or sometime tomorrow...

I'm awake. I've taken care of the things I need to take care of today. I've seen your recent thank yous - and I thank you all back for taking this little journey with me. I've got a fresh pot of coffee. And that means that it's time for a review of the Part 9 questions...

PART 9 QUESTIONS

X1.) Where exactly is the farmhouse where Evil Cooper met up with Gary 'Hutch' Hutchens and his wife, Chantal? I'm thinking that it must be fairly close to Sioux City since it didn't seem that they drove all that far from the prison. Though for all we know, Evil Cooper hijacked a car and drove hundreds of miles. Somewhere in South Dakota is close enough. So I'm dumping this question from the list.
X2.) Who did Evil Cooper text the cryptic message to? I know the easy answer is Diane. But the message went out differently from Evil Cooper than it did coming in to Diane. At this point, I'm pretty sure that it was, indeed, Diane. So this question is also gone.
X3.) What job was Evil Cooper asking Duncan Todd about? Of course, it seems like it would be the hit on Dougie Cooper, but you never know. I think we can safely say that the job WAS to kill Dougie Cooper. So another question bites the dust.
4.) What supplies did Hutch gather for Evil Cooper in the satchel that he handed him? Was it just the clean cell phones and ammunition that was asked for? Or did Hutch throw something else in there? We still don't know for sure. There could still be a black suit in there.
X5.) Who is the "double header" in Las Vegas that Evil Cooper plans to assign to Hutch after he successfully kills the warden? I'm going with Dougie Cooper and Duncan Todd - regardless of whether or not Mr. Todd gets the job done on time. Bingo! Another question answered. Though that last hit on Dougie Cooper didn't go so well for the Hutchens.
6.) What was the "car accident" that Dougie Cooper supposedly had around twelve years ago? Is this just an excuse for his erratic behavior or did something really happen? We haven't learned anything new about the "accident".
7.) Why was Bushnell Mullins clenching his fist with his hand in his pocket while talking to the three Detective Fuscos? According to Lil in Fire Walk With Me, the hand in pocket might mean that the Detectives Fuscos are hiding something and the clenched fist could mean that they are going to be belligerent. This was probably answered as much as it's going to be. But I'm still leaving it for now.
X8.) Why are there no records for Dougie Jones prior to 1997? Have we found our manufacturers date? Indeed. This one has been answered.
9.) Who was the "Australian guy with the pliers" that Detective 'Smiley' Fusco mentions? It probably means nothing to our story, but things like this make me very curious. I doubt that we'll ever learn any more about this.
10.) Whose car did the Detectives Fusco find a scratch on? The way they obsess over their automobiles, I'm thinking that it's one of theirs. Probably Detective T. Fusco since he just had his taillight replaced. Another one that we'll probably never learn anything more about.
11.) Who is the J.T. that Ike The Spike was calling with his message about taking medical leave? I have absolutely no clue on this one. I still can't think of who this might be. Another Todd, perhaps? Maybe Duncan's brother?
12.) Who is the Mary that Sylvia Horne was yelling to about Johnny Horne? Must be the latest nanny. I doubt that we will ever actually meet her, but who knows? Could this be the same Mary that Clark was supposedly seen with at The Roadhouse?
X13.) What happened to Johnny Horne when he banged his head in the wall and is he still alive? I'm going with yes - he's alive. Mainly because he appeared to be breathing regularly at the end of the scene even though he was knocked out and laying unconscious on the floor. Apparently, Johnny survived. But this question is dead.
X14.) Who did Diane Evans receive the text message from? The obvious answer is Evil Cooper, but the text came in differently than it was sent out. It was sent out by Evil Cooper in all small letters with absolutely zero punctuation, but when Diane received it, it was in all capital letters with a comma and a period. Now that we know that Diane was a Tulpa, I'm going with it being Evil Cooper and crossing this question off of the list.
15.) Where did Major Briggs get the metallic cylinder from? Is this a government made device? Or did he design this puppy himself? There's been no more information - nor will there probably ever be - on the mysterious metal cylinder.
16.) What exactly happened during the car accident that claimed Hastings' secretary Betty's life? And who caused it? We pretty much know the why. We have still not received any more details about this. And something tells me that we never will.
X17.) Is "The Search For The Zone" website real? I know, we already know the answer is yes - [link to thesearchforthezone.com] - I just figured I'd put it here now to tell you that it has reset with the number of visitors and is ticking DOWN one number per minute. It will reach zero at midnight on Saturday turning into Sunday, September 3, 2017 - the night of the two hour finale. This one has been answered.
18.) How exactly did Bill Hastings and Ruth Davenport first become aware of "the Zone"? Apparently, Ruth discovered it, but from where? We haven't learned any more about this.
19.) What is up with Jerry Horne's foot? Is Jerry just high, possessed or both? It's hard to believe, but ol' Jerry and his possessed foot aren't out of the woods yet.
20.) Did Gordon Cole and Diane Evans do more than just "smoke" together in the past? We know that Gordon was/is a "ladies man" to some degree. So did him and Diane ever...you know? It's quite possible. But we'll probably never know.
21.) How did Ruth find the information about being at a certain place at a certain time to make contact with a "certain person"? Did she read this information somewhere or was she told it by someone? We'll probably never know for sure.
22.) Who were the "other people" that were looking for Major Briggs and were they the "many people" who showed up and killed the Major and Ruth? And were they regular looking people, or sooty looking bastards with no Bics? I'm still curious as to WHO all of these "other people" were.
23.) Which secured military database was Bill and Ruth asked by Major Briggs to break into to get him the new coordinates? Was it the Air Force? The Pentagon? If it's the Pentagon, there's a chance that Colonel Davis is aware of it. Exactly who else knows about the coordinates? And will they also be showing up - unannounced - for the big double Cooper showdown?
24.) Why and how did the humming sound in the Great Northern Hotel change where it was coming from? Is there something stuck in the walls or wood of the Great Northern? Besides Josie? I have a feeling that we're going to find out the answer to this one in the finale.
X25.) Why didn't Ben Horne make a play for Beverly Paige and is he REALLY a changed man? My guess is that he's still exactly the same and this is all just part of the deal of making her think that he is a good guy that then just can't resist her. Nice game, playa! I think I nailed this one since we've heard him invite her out to dinner since then. So I'm calling this one done.
26.) What is up with the "wicked rash" on Ella's left armpit? I was eating something when I first saw this scene. NOT cool! I don't know about you, but I'm itching to find out the answer to this one.
27.) What does Chloe mean when she asks Ella, "you know that zebra's out again"? Like the earlier "skunk" problem at the Great Northern, a zebra is a black and white animal. There's more and more animals being mentioned. Is this some kind of oblique reference to a zoo? And, if so, are the people that are starting to disappear being taken to a "human zoo"?
28.) Where did Ella get fired from and where is she flipping burgers at NOW? One of them must be the RR Diner. So since we haven't seen her before, does that mean her "wicked rash" is now flipping burgers for Norma? We haven't seen her at the RR Diner. Or anywhere since this conversation.
29.) What does Ella mean when she asks Chloe, "have you seen that penguin"? Yet ANOTHER black and white animal mentioned. Does it mean something? Or do these girls just dig hangin' out at the zoo? There appears to be a whole world that we're not privy to. The one where all of these animals are and where all of the kids that have been missing for a few days probably are. The place that Steven was talking about while threatening to kill himself. I don't know. I'm just spitballing here.
30.) Why is Au Revoir Simone playing for a second time at The Roadhouse? They are wearing the EXACT same clothes. So it is from the same performance? It must be, right? But then why is it broken up and on two different parts? I'm leaving this question for now. Even though I'm pretty sure that it has to do with link points. Because I'm convinced that this IS from the same show as the first performance.

Not bad. We said goodbye to 9 of the 30 questions. And now we're into double digits when I return with the Part 10 question reviews...

Re: TWIN PEAKS: THE RETURN - Discuss the past, present and future of all things Twin Peaks
Okay. Here comes the next batch. A review of the Part 10 questions...

PART 10 QUESTIONS

X1.) Which policeman did Miriam Sullivan tell about Richard Horne running over the little boy? It couldn't have been Chad or he would have already known about her when Richard brought her up. Was it Andy? Is that why he was out investigating the truck and the murder? And has he been investigating it on his own without telling anybody else what he has learned? It's a moot point now. Apparently, her letter got to Sheriff Frank Truman after all. And Chad has now been arrested. So this question is being removed from the list.
X2.) Which Sheriff Truman did Miriam Sullivan send her letter to? I'm thinking that it's probably Harry since I'm not sure that Miriam even knows that Frank has been filling in for him. And she may have sent it to his home address. It actually looks like she sent it to Sheriff Frank. At any rate, the letter got through and this question has been answered.
X3.) Is Miriam Sullivan still alive after the visit by Richard Horne? She was breathing the last time that we saw her and I'm thinking that since Richard kicked in her glass door, there's plenty of air flow to prevent the gas blowing up the trailer. So I think Miriam is still alive at this point. This one has also been answered. She IS still alive - as far as we know - and hopefully about to undergo a successful operation to get herself all fixed up.
4.) What exactly did Becky Burnett do that got her husband - Steven - so violently angry? Could she have been posing as a 15 year old prostitute at The Roadhouse? This is now a much more important question.
5.) Why does Candie act so robotic and out of it all the time? Could she be another manufactured being? Or was she SO traumatized from past abuse and/or trafficking that she has retreated within her own mind (as so many of them do)? This could even be causing her to only be able to concentrate on ONE thing at a time. So when she was concentrating on killing the fly, it didn't even enter her mind that she would be hitting and possibly hurting Rodney. I love Candie. I really want to know more about her. And I think we will. Somehow, she seems to be vitally important to the end game.
X6.) What exactly did the stethoscope remind Dougie Cooper of? Was it a badge? Maybe his FBI pin? I think it was because it was metallic and like a badge. I'm going to go ahead and knock this question off of the list.
7.) Why did the Mitchum brothers have their own hit out on Ike 'The Spike' Stadtler - what exactly did he do wrong to them? Whatever he did to screw with them, I'm guessing that Duncan Todd hired him to do it. Could it even be tied in with the murders that occurred when Ike was hired to kill Lorraine? We'll probably never learn how Ike crossed the Mitchum brothers. But it wasn't a very smart thing for him to do.
8.) Why is the Dougie Cooper and Janey-E interview with the police slightly different than the first time that we saw it? It's the same two policemen, but Janey-E says different things and seems way more upset than the first time that we saw the interview. It sure seems like an "alternate timeline" version. The jury is still out on this one.
9.) What does Jerry Horne mean when he says "I've been here before"? Out in the woods? At that very same spot in the woods? Stuck out in the woods with no decent phone reception? On drugs and lost? What did he mean? Had he arrived at a familiar place? Somewhere he'd been at ten minutes earlier? Or maybe someplace he had visited as a child? I'll be glad when Jerry finally gets back so that we can learn what the hell happened to him out in the woods.
10.) Who is the Meriam Hodges whose letter Chad stole? Or is it Merian Hodges? Could this be the Mary Anne that both Richard and Red know is involved in the drug trade in Twin Peaks. Or is it Miriam Sullivan that is also known as "Mary-Anne"? We never got an update on the other Meriam or Merian. I'm still thinking that it's the Mary-Anne drug runner.
11.) What exactly happened to Johnny Horne's teddy bear and who was it that "fixed" it and made it the way that it is now? Uncle Jerry comes to mind as someone twisted enough to make the twisted teddy bear head. Especially if he was smoking some of that hydroponic stuff. Sadly, we'll probably never know.
X12.) Who does Duncan Todd actually work? Is it just Evil Cooper behind the whole company? Is it the same billionaire who owns the penthouse in New York City? Or is the billionaire and Evil Cooper one and the same. Whoever it is, it looks like they've been working with Anthony Sinclair on some of the false insurance claim stuff that he's been doing - WITH Dougie Jones - for possibly years. Is Duncan Todd the head of a bank? It's kind of a moot point now. I'm pretty sure that it was some kind of an investment company. But Todd is dead and so is this question.
13.) Are FBI Deputy Director Gordon Cole and FBI Agent Tammy Preston a couple or are they dating? They looked WAY too close at the restaurant with their arms around each other like a couple would do - not JUST friends. I think it's strictly professional. But knowing how Cole likes the ladies, I'm leaving this question for now.
X14.) Why are the Mitchum brothers - especially Bradley - so soft when it comes to Candie? Where did they find her and what makes Bradley seem to care SO much about not firing her and sending her out into the real world? We've seen a LOT of kindness and forgiveness from the Mitchum brothers. And now we know that they grew up in an orphanage. They have hearts. Plain and simple. And Jim Belushi - the named star that I was the most worried about going into Twin Peaks: The Return - has been great as Bradley Mitchum. I'm calling this one done.
15.) What does Candie mean when she tells Anthony Sinclair that we're in the "version layer"? Did she just misspeak the word "inversion" or is there a reason that she says "version" instead? I'm pretty sure that this has to do with the link points and how to "stack" the scenes to watch it differently once it's finished. I'm guessing that the "version layer" will end up being the straight film that all of the other pieces fold into. But I'm leaving it for now.
16.) What does Rodney Mitchum mean when he says, "now I know how Brando felt"? Anybody know exactly what Marlon Brando movie and scene Rodney was referencing? Or was it a reference to Wally Brando - remember him? I think that once the movie has been "stacked" and "layered", this scene will run concurrently with the Wally Brando scene. But, for now, it remains unanswered.
X17.) Where will Rodney attempt to have a meeting with Dougie at? Will he pay a visit to the Lucky 7 Insurance company? Try and have Dougie come to the Silver Mustang Casino? Search for the Zone? This question has been answered. And the answer is - in the middle of the desert. I'm sure glad that Dougie Cooper brought dessert to the desert.
18.) Why does FBI Deputy Director Gordon Cole suddenly get a vision of Laura Palmer? This seemed really odd, but telling. So what does it tell? All I know is, Gordon Cole is VERY central to this story. And he knows WAY more than he has ever shared with anybody about what is REALLY going on. And what the Blue Rose cases REALLY involve. There seemed to be an "opening" between worlds in the doorway or doorknob to Gordon Cole's hotel room in Buckhorn, South Dakota. More than that, I couldn't say. But I'm leaving this one for now. I'll dump some of the other questions about the doorway/hallway.
X19.) Why does Diane Evans have so many male suitors? Or is that just bogus information being delivered to Albert by Tammy? It would make sense that if she was indeed raped by Evil Cooper years ago, she may have given up on ever trusting men again for anything other than her own pleasure. Of course, this would make it even less likely for her to now be actually working WITH Evil Cooper. I'm saying that it is DIRECTLY because of the rape that she acted like that. So I'm dumping this question from the list.
X20.) Did FBI Agent Tammy Preston REALLY receive that message from Diane Evans through a Mexican server or is she just setting Diane up? We don't know of that message being delivered to Evil Cooper. At least, not yet. Now that we know the truth - partly - about Diane, I'm going to go with Tammy being on the up and up. Meaning that she DID receive the message through a Mexican server and was telling the truth and NOT setting up an innocent Diane. So this question is being removed from the list.
X21.) What exactly did Gordon sense when he hugged Diane in the parking lot after her initial meeting with Evil Cooper at the Yankton Federal Prison? Exactly which side is Diane on? Maybe she felt uneasy because of things she had learned or heard about Gordon Cole. Though she sure seems guilty of something. She really didn't hug Gordon back in this scene which I think was the trigger for him. I'm pretty sure that was what he meant when he said that it didn't feel right. So this one has been answered.
X22.) Why is Agent Tammy Preston moving in slow motion in the hallway? The sounds are ominous as well. It leaves the effect that something not so good is coming down the hall. I think this is all tied in to the Laura Palmer vision that occurred to Gordon Cole near this same spot. The "openings" or "portals" between worlds - just like the presence of Lodge entities like the Woodsmen - seems to cause humans here on Earth to move slower when nearby. So I'm going to go ahead and call this question done.
X23.) Why does Gordon's door handle glitch when Tammy approaches it? Some are saying it's the software that was used to put the scene in slow motion and is simply a glitch. Really? David Lynch just left it that way? Don't you think he would have seen it and said, "screw it, take the slow motion out if it does this"? Could it be happening because of who Tammy is? Could the airplane code from before just be more glitches in the matrix and not a code after all? Again, there seemed to be an "opening" between worlds at Gordon's hotel doorway in Buckhorn. Which is also how Gordon received the Laura Palmer visions. It probably all ties in with Diane being around. Like Dougie in the casino, a Lodge resident was maybe tuning in. Or, just the fact that Diane was a Tulpa manufactured by a Lodge being made the "opening" occur. At any rate, since they are leaving Buckhorn, we're going to call this question answered. At least, as much as it can be.
24.) Who is the bald man with glasses wearing a beige trenchcoat in the picture with Evil Cooper at the New York penthouse with the glass box? It sure looks like Moby. Or is it Heinrich Viegel from The Search For The Zone website? Or maybe even Beverly's husband, Tom Paige? There's been nothing further on the mysterious bald dude.
X25.) Why does Sylvia Horne think that she can get more money out of her ex-husband after being robbed by Richard just by calling her lawyer? Is it simply because that money was for taking care of Johnny and she knows that she can get it from Ben? Or is she holding something as blackmail? Perhaps the truth about Donna's parentage? I'm calling this one answered. Sylvia obviously is used to dealing with Ben in this way in order to get what she wants. Not that she doesn't deserve it - having been married to Ben Horne for all of those years. YIKES!
X26.) What did the Log Lady mean when she told Hawk that the electricity is humming? Is this her telling Hawk that the Lodge residents are very active right now? I think the heightened activity of Lodge denizens is EXACTLY what she meant. So I'm removing this question from the list.
X27.) What did the Log Lady mean when she told Hawk that the glow is dying? It sounds like a threat to the whole world. Or, at least, to that timeline or reality. Or is she talking about the glow from Agent Cooper? Who may only have a few days left unless certain things happen before 10/1 at 2:53. I'm also removing this question from the list. I'm pretty sure that she was talking about the glow of life that she knew was about to leave her.
28.) What did the Log Lady mean when she told Hawk that the Truman brothers are both "true men" and his brothers? Is this a hint that we WILL be seeing Harry again soon? I'm leaving this question since we don't really understand it yet.
29.) What did the Log Lady mean when she told Hawk that the circle is almost complete? Is she talking about the planetary alignment that is about to happen? Or the circle of Agent Cooper and Laura Palmer having gone away and come back (which it sure looks like WILL be happening)? I'm also leaving this question since we don't really understand it yet.
30.) What did the Log Lady mean when she told Hawk to watch and listen to the dream of time and space? Are we about to be treated to a wonderful Lynchian dream sequence at the beginning of Part 11? The meaning of this phrase is a mystery yet to be answered.
31.) What did the Log Lady mean when she said to Hawk "that which is and is not"? Was she actually talking about the two different timelines - or realities or dimensions - that have been shown? You should already know what I think. Another mystery yet to be answered.
32.) What did the Log Lady mean when she told Hawk that "Laura is the one"? And just what the hell is Hawk thinking now? The one WHAT? Some people thought that Cooper was the one. Maybe both will meet up with a Council Of Nine somewhere within the Zone and we'll finally understand the "119" clue. This one has DEFINITELY not been answered yet. But we should know what it means by the end of the finale.
33.) Why is Moby credited as "Musician" when NONE of the other members of the band are credited at all? Could he be the mysterious bald guy in the New York City glass box penthouse picture with Evil Cooper? This one also remains a mystery - for now.

Nice! That took care of 15 of the 33 Part 10 questions. I'll be back after dinner with a review of the Part 11 questions...

Re: TWIN PEAKS: THE RETURN - Discuss the past, present and future of all things Twin Peaks
Alright. My belly is full from dinner and I've taken care of some other business. It's been a REALLY weird day. I'll tell you all about it later. Right now, I'm all ready to continue tackling these questions. So let's take another look at the Part 11 questions...

PART 11 QUESTIONS

1.) Who was it that called Becky to tell her that Steven was at the apartment complex with Gersten Hayward? Do we even know the person that she was on the phone with? And could that person have had an ulterior motive? We may never find out who called Becky.
2.) Whose gun did Becky grab from under the couch? Is it hers? Is it Steven's? Let's hope these two never have any kids. I'm pretty sure that it's the gun that we just saw Steven with in the woods behind the New Fat Trout Trailer Park.
X3.) Why is Shelly wearing red shoes with her blue waitress outfit? It seems that EVERYONE is wearing red shoes with EVERYTHING. This probably shouldn't have been a question to begin with. So I'm removing it. I think the answer is that all of the women need to be wearing ruby red slippers so that we can't figure out who the Dorothy is.
4.) How did Steven Burnett and Gersten Hayward know to hide in the stairwell? Were they leaving and saw Becky pull in and dash back into the apartment basement? Or did the same person that called Becky then call them? This has never been addressed again.
X5.) What does Gordon mean when he asks Albert, "think there's one in there"? I'm pretty sure he was talking about an inter-dimensional doorway and not a person. Which means that they are aware that there are many of them spread out around the world. I'm dumping this question since I'm sure he meant a gateway to the other dimension. Which they did indeed find.
X6.) Where exactly IS the staircase that Gordon saw inside the vortex? Does it lead to the room above the convenience store? Bingo! I had a feeling that was the answer. So this question is now done.
X7.) Was Ruth's body in the weeds the whole time or did Gordon opening up the vortex cause her body to be spit back out from the Zone? It seems like somebody would have discovered it if it had been laying in those weeds for days. Then again, other than the Woodsmen, we don't really know who lives around there (if anybody does anymore). I think we can safely assume that it got spit out when the vortex opened up. Just like Naido at Jack Rabbits Palace. So I'm calling this question done.
X8.) Was Diane mouthing something - possibly to the Woodsmen - while she was standing outside smoking? I don't really think that she did. But she does seem to form vowels and letters with her mouth when she smokes. We'll never know for sure. She probably wasn't. But now that we know exactly which side she WAS on, it isn't beyond belief. But it also doesn't matter anymore, so this question is being removed from the list.
X9.) How did the Woodsman get inside the car to kill Bill Hastings? I believe that the answer to this is that when they move, they vibrate on a different density level than the rest of us do in this dimension. This then allows them to move through solid objects like car doors. I already answered this one after doing research on the Zone website. They do vibrate on a completely different density level which allowed them to traverse their way into the car before entering our dimension, killing Bill Hastings, and exiting out dimension.
10.) Where is the "same place" that Shelly and Red meet up at? Is it The Roadhouse or somewhere else more private? We still don't know the answer to this one.
11.) What was up with the little boy who shot the gun and why did he have such an I-don't-give-a-crap stance after accidentally firing a gun? He seemed somewhat possessed. And his dad seemed to have a similar attitude. There's been nothing more on this.
12.) What was up with the "sick" girl in the car throwing up green bile? Speaking of possessed - this brought a whole new level of weird to the little town of Twin peaks. Freaked me out, for sure. There's also been nothing more on this.
13.) Who is the "sick" girl's uncle that she hasn't seen in a very long while? Do we know him? Does this have anything to do with the upcoming planetary alignment and the possible release of beings from within the Lodges? Again, there's been no new information about this.
14.) Could all of the weirdness out on the street outside the RR Diner have been caused by Red being in the vicinity? It was RIGHT after the interaction with Red that Richard killed the little boy with his truck. And as soon as we see him outside with Shelly, all hell breaks loose in the street. We even first see him in the exact same spot in the street that the cars get stuck at. It's as good of a theory as anything else at this point.
15.) Does Hawk's ancient map actually mutate and change periodically? Hawk said that it was a "living map" and is always current. So is it magical? We haven't seen it change yet, but that doesn't mean that it doesn't.
16.) Where exactly did Hawk get the ancient map from? Was this handed down to Hawk from a tribal elder? Nothing new has been learned about the map.
17.) What exactly does Hawk know about the Experiment and just how old is it if it was always part of the map and known about by Hawk's ancestors? Hawk tells Sheriff Frank "you don't ever want to know about that" meaning that Hawk does know something about it. Has that symbol always been on the map? Did the Nez Perce tribe know of it's existence even before a gateway was opened through our use of atomic energy to allow it to come to this dimension? "You don't ever want to know about that". Yeah Hawk, maybe Sheriff Frank doesn't, but WE do!
18.) Where do Lucy and Andy go that makes it so that they "hardly ever get home"? This seemed like an odd pronouncement even though it came from Lucy. Don't tell me that these two attend swinger parties in Twin peaks. Well, we know now that they once went to Bora Bora. But I'm still leaving this one on the list for now.
19.) What year is Deputy Jesse Holcomb's new car? Lynch is trolling us with the non-date and trying to keep us from understanding just how time is being dealt with in Twin Peaks: The Return and also how it all connects up with The Secret History Of Twin Peaks which doesn't begin until late summer of 2016. Jesse says "it's a two thousand..." and is cut off by Frank. Too funny! This is still a valid question until we learn exactly what year we are in and/or that damn dossier is discovered.
20.) Why is Gordon Cole's right hand shaking so badly? Is it just because the Jupiter and Saturn alignment is close? Or does it mean something else? Could it be that his vibrational density was still recovering from having been changed temporarily at the vortex leading to the Zone? When the Fireman's hand starts shaking, we'll know that we're in deep doo-doo.
21.) Why did Albert allow Diane to see the picture of Ruth's arm with the coordinates? Did Albert photoshop the picture and change the numbers before showing it to Diane? Are they attempting to set up whoever it is that she is in contact with? Did they have anything to do with the coordinates trap that Richard Horne died investigating for Evil Cooper.
22.) Was Diane recording the conversation in Detective Macklay's office with her lighter? My wife just came up with this one on our Sunday evening rewatch, so I'm inserting it here. We need to go back and look at other scenes with Diane. But it could explain why she always seems to want to light up a cigarette in places where you shouldn't be smoking and could easily just go outside for a few minutes. She fidgets with it for a second after lighting the cigarette like she is making sure that she's holding the mic just right to record the conversation. We may never know now.
23.) Why couldn't Detective Macklay and Tammy Preston see the Woodsmen when Gordon, Albert and Diane all saw them (though Diane lied about how many times she saw them)? And did Tammy REALLY not see them? I still don't trust her. But Diane saw them. Is it just because of the knowledge of the Blue Rose cases that they can all see them so clearly? I understand Macklay not seeing them - he's a bit of a dolt. But Tammy seems very hip to the esoteric. I'm surprised that she couldn't see them.
X24.) How could the Woodsmen get in the car to kill Bill Hastings without opening the car door? Again, I believe that it's because of the way that they are able to vibrate on a different density level as beings from a different dimension. Whoops! This is pretty much the same as #9 and it has already been answered.
25.) How did Bushnell know to take out a secondary policy on the Mitchum brothers hotel that burned down? Is Bushnell more aware of what's going on than we think? Could he be actively working against the Duncan Todd side of Las Vegas financing and real estate? I think that Bushnell is just one smart cookie. But I'm leaving this one for now.
26.) Why did Bradley Mitchum have a dream about Dougie Cooper and who put that dream in his head? Is Phillip Gerard orchestrating all of this from The Waiting Room? It seems like Bradley has had these dreams before and possibly earned him and his brother some money by knowing what to do and when.
X27.) Is it significant that Phillip Gerard lured Dougie Cooper over to the Szymons Famous Coffees shop? Notice the bold "Z" in the name. Do they have branches in New York City, by any chance? I guess it's no more significant than all of the other things that Phillip has done for Dougie Cooper. So I'm knocking this one off the list.
28.) Why does the amount of Dougie's debt to the Mitchum brothers keep changing? First Janey-E counted it and it was $425,000. Then the Mitchums said it was $447,000. Okay, you can figure that they are taking into account the two jackpots that Dougie gave away to the Lady Slot-Addict and adding that to the amount that he took home to Janey-E. But NOW, suddenly the casino take portion of what Dougie has cost them has risen to $472,000. This is still a valid question since it points to at least two different timelines in Las Vegas.
29.) How is it possible that Rodney Mitchum's "Candie cut" healed all the way up overnight? Is it two timelines bumping into each other? Or was Phillip Jeffries right when he said that we "live inside a dream"? It could be either, really.
30.) Why does Candie say that there was so much traffic on the strip when, from what we could see, there wasn't? She's so robotic, it's hard to tell. Was it a practiced response? Could she have actually been referring to the traffic jam outside of the RR Diner in Twin Peaks? There's still no answers as to why Candie is the way that she is.

There ya go. We knocked 8 of the 30 questions off of the Part 11 list. I'll be back later on or tomorrow with the Part 12 question review...

Re: TWIN PEAKS: THE RETURN - Discuss the past, present and future of all things Twin Peaks
Eddie Vedder's character was called Edward Louis Severson III.

Severson is an interesting choice of name seeing as his song seemed to be about Audrey and that her son just died (assuming he is dead).

Was it the severing from her evil son that helped wake her?

That's Eddie Vedder's real birth name.

Yes I know, but in the credits, 'Eddie Vedder' plays 'Edward Louis Severson III', and not the other way around. I am referring to TP world, where things are a little 'different'.

The old serie sucked and the new too. Did you rewatch the old serie? it has aged very badly... Again, Lynch is a troll, figure it out. He trolled big with lost highway and got away with it... and he did it again with Mulholland Drive.

The joke is on the critics... and lynch is laughin at them

Yes, he's such a genius troll that recently, 177 film critics from 36 countries voted Mullholland Drive the best film of the 21st century! It also won many other 'film of the decade' awards too.

Yes I rewatched the series recently (and will do so again when S03 is finished) and also got a friend in her early 20's hooked into it. She loves it's slower pace, the characters and it's air of mystery which she found lacking in so many shows today.

Re: TWIN PEAKS: THE RETURN - Discuss the past, present and future of all things Twin Peaks
Uh-oh! We've arrived at Part 12. And there's a LOT of Part 12 questions to review. I've just made an extra big pot of coffee. So let's begin...

PART 12 QUESTIONS

1.) Why is Gordon Cole sweeping his hotel room for listening devices; did he find anything; and, if so, who does he think might be using them? Does Gordon ALWAYS sweep every room that he is in? Or was this done because of Diane specifically? Was this because of Diane?
2.) Why wasn't Sam Stanley and ESPECIALLY Windom Earle even mentioned during Tammy's briefing about the Blue Rose task force? Windom Earle's part of the story being left out felt really wrong. Are they really wiping his name off of the storyline? Or is he still a part of BOB and they are hoping that we all forget? I still think it's extremely odd that neither the FBI OR the Twin Peaks Sheriff Department - especially Hawk - never mention Windom Earle.
X3.) Who was the woman who uttered the words "blue rose" before dying and who inadvertently gave the task force it's name? And what case were they working on when this happened? We learned all about the Lois Duffy case. So this question has been answered.
X4.) Why was Tammy suddenly asked to join the Blue Rose task force? She seemed VERY excited to have been asked. Is she, like Diane, being kept close to the investigation for a reason? Or do Gordon and Albert actually really trust her? Okay. I'm jumping on the Tammy bandwagon and knocking this question off of the list. I think that Tammy is okay and probably a vital new member of the Blue Rose Task Force.
5.) Why was Diane Evans made to walk through the red curtains to join the FBI meeting? Was this to try and trigger a Lodge resident inside of her? Or merely a coincidence? I still wonder what Gordon and Albert were up to in Part 12.
X6.) Why was Diane suddenly deputized and asked to join the Blue Rose task force? Was this just to keep her close and to try and set her and whoever she's texting up? I think we can safely say that it WAS just to keep her close and sending messages to the person they are trying to find. So I'm wiping this one off the list.
X7.) Why is Fire Walk With Me music suddenly creeping up and being used in Twin Peaks: The Return - especially during Part 12? This was VERY unnerving. I suspect that musically and sound-wise, it's going to sound more and more like the old Twin Peaks as we get closer to the end and spend more and more time in the town of Twin Peaks. I am very surprised we haven't heard more of this. I suspect that we will when we visit the Palmer house during the finale. I'm going to cross this off the list now that we've seen what's inside Sarah Palmer. Since THAT'S what the music was hinting at.
X8.) Why did Diane make a Jupiter/Saturn sign with her fingers? Was this accidental or purposeful? I remember Laura making a similar sign once. It doesn't really matter now. And she was, after all, a Tulpa working for The Black Lodge. So I'm getting rid of this question.
X9.) Why did Diane utter the phrase "let's rock"? Was this simply because she already knew the phrase and it's connection to the Blue Rose cases because of Agent Cooper reporting it to her when he first found it written in lipstick on Agent Desmond's car windshield? I guess it's just a catchphrase in The Black Lodge. It was Diane showing us that she was one of them. So I'm going to call this one answered.
10.) Did Jerry Horne finally get out of the Ghostwood National Forest and what exactly is he running away from? Was Jerry just on drugs or did he have some kind of "Lodge" experience out there in the woods? He's not out of the woods yet. And we still don't know what happened to him or who or what he is running away from.
11.) Was the vodka that Sarah Palmer was looking for moved further down the aisle and, if so, why? She seemed surprised to find that it had moved. They do this kind of thing in grocery stores all the time and it drives me nuts. So is that what happened here? There's been no new clues on this yet.
12.) Who or what was Sarah talking about when she asked, "were you here when they first came"? The Check-out Girl thought she was talking about the turkey jerky, but I'm pretty sure that she was talking about something or somebody else. Did she mean the Woodsmen? Or someone/something else? At any rate, I think we're about to find out.
13.) What does Sarah mean when she says, "your room seems different"? Like the aisle with the vodka, is Sarah saying that the store has changed? As in alternate timeline or reality. And has it or did they just move stuff around? Did the REAL Sarah end up in an alternate timeline?
14.) Who or what is Sarah referring to when she says, "men are coming"? Is she talking about the Woodsmen? Or the FBI? Or Evil Cooper and his cohorts? Again, I think we're going to find out.
15.) What does Sarah mean when she says, "something happened to me"? Is she talking about what happened with Laura and Leland or has something else happened to Sarah since then? I think we're beginning to understand this question. But I'm going to leave it for now and hope for some further explanations.
16.) Who or what is Sarah talking to when she starts yelling at herself to "get the automotive key"? Is Sarah suffering from dissociative identity disorder? And, if so, what caused it and when did it start? I'm thinking now that it's the Mother/Experiment. But I'm going to leave it for now.
17.) Why is Carl Rodd so concerned about Kriscol selling his blood for money? Is he really this kind? Or does he have an ulterior motive? There's been nothing new on this.
X18.) Why is Carl Rodd willing to pay Kriscol for doing work for other people? Again, is he REALLY this nice? I want to think that he is. I'm crossing this one off the list. No matter what, I believe that Carl is a good soul. Even if he is a Reverse Vampire.
19.) What is Carl Rodd going to do the next time that Kriscol thinks about selling his blood for money and comes to talk to him? Will Carl just give him money or find something for him to do in order to earn the money? Or will Carl buy the blood from Kriscol directly? I'm leaving this one for now even though we'll probably never find out.
20.) What were the sounds heard coming from the kitchen by Hawk when he stopped by the Palmer residence to check up on Sarah? Was it the Bag-boy who delivered the groceries? And, if so, is he free to leave or tied up on the floor? I REALLY hope that we're going to find out more about the Palmer house. And since there's a picture of the house above the Convenience Store on the wall in Laura Palmer's old room, I imagine that we will.
21.) What exactly did Sarah mean when she said to Hawk, "it's a goddamn bad story, isn't it, Hawk"? Did she mean what had happened to her? Like with Laura and Leland? Or was she talking about the current state of affairs? Maybe even about what's in the kitchen? Again, I think we're going to find out. And it's not going to be pretty.
X22.) Who texted Diane the message asking if the FBI knew about the Las Vegas connection yet? Was it Evil Cooper? Phillip Jeffries? Phillip Gerard? Some Phillip we haven't even met yet? I'm going to call this one answered since it's a pretty safe bet that all of the text messages going to Diane were from Evil Cooper.
23.) What was Sheriff Harry S. Truman's diagnosis that has him "hanging in there" and the family "hoping for the best"? It doesn't sound too hopeful for Harry. Unless that Great Northen Hotel key for room 315 has magical healing powers. I'll leave this one until Harry's illness is actually named.
24.) From what Sheriff Frank Truman said to Ben Horne, does this mean that they are "officially" reopening the Laura Palmer murder case? Hawk also mentioned reopening a case to Sarah Palmer. Why are they reopening the case now? They know what happened to Laura, don't they? Or is it all just tied in with them now believing that the good Agent Cooper is trapped in the Lodge and knowing that it all started with that case? We still haven't heard any specifics about this.
X25.) What causes Ben Horne to think SO deeply about the old bicycle that his father got him? Is he feeling guilty for Richard? And why? Is it just a kind streak in Ben? Or does it mean something deeper? Now that we know that Evil Cooper was Richard's father - and that most likely nobody else knows that - I think that it was just Ben realizing what a life without a father is like. I know - mine left when I was two months old. So I'm kicking this one off the list.
26.) What was the deal with the French Woman and all of the things that she did before leaving the room? Was the French Woman passing along some information to Albert in code? It was not unlike Lil's odd dance at the beginning of Fire Walk With Me which was DEFINITELY Blue Rose code. We may never know the answer to this one.
27.) What, if anything, did Gordon's story about the mother with the turnip farm mean? Again, it was very similar to Gordon's intro to Lil in Fire Walk With Me, "her name is Lil - she's my mother's sister's girl" followed by Gordon covering his face with an upside down hand. So was this more code? We may never know the answer to this one, either.
28.) What, if anything, did Gordon's comment to Albert about there being over 6000 languages spoken on the Earth today mean? This is simply not true. It is said that it was once that way. In a little story called The Tower Of Babel. So was Gordon directing Albert to use his hotel Bible to break the code currently being used? We also may never know the answer to this one.
29.) What did Gordon mean when he answered Albert's question about what kind of Bordeaux it was with "11:05"? Was this a direct reference to a Bible passage? I still think that this is tied in to Revelation 11.5 which is the exact same passage - about fire and the two witnesses - that Major Briggs was reading to his wife, Betty in one of the scenes from The Missing Pieces.
30.) What does Gordon mean when he continually squeezes Albert's shoulder? And is this also part of the code? It may actually mean nothing. But I still think these two speak in code a LOT.
31.) Who does Charlie work for that has given him his current work deadline? Could he have Leland's old position - being an accountant for Ben Horne? We have learned nothing more about Charlie.
32.) Is the Billy that Audrey is looking for the same Billy that Bing ran into the RR Diner asking about at the end of Part 7? I want to say yes. But that doesn't mean that it's the same guy that Andy was supposed to meet that I thought was Billy. We have learned nothing more about Billy.
33.) How did Audrey and Charlie meet and why did they get married? It may not be important. But inquiring minds want to know. And are they REALLY married or is this all just a dream, coma psychosis, or perhaps even a role playing scenario with her psychiatrist? We have learned nothing more about the Audrey/Charlie relationship.
34.) How often does Audrey have dreams that "hearken the truth"? And exactly what other truths have her dreams hearkened? Is Audrey Horne - even though she may still be in a coma - the dreamer?
35.) Who is Tina that was supposedly the last person to see Billy before he disappeared? Is she related to Charlie somehow? Like his sister? We have learned a little bit more about Tina. She was also dating Billy for awhile. She was, indeed, there when he ran inside her house bleeding from the mouth and nose. She has a daughter named Megan. But that's it. We still don't really know who she is and have not met her yet. So I'm leaving this question for now.
36.) What are the papers that Audrey wants Charlie to sign? Is Audrey talking about divorce papers? Or something else? We have learned nothing more about the papers.
37.) Who is the Paul that Audrey threatens to send over to pay a visit to Charlie? Whoever it is, it sounds like some kind of enforcer that Charlie definitely doesn't want Audrey sending over. We have learned nothing more about Paul.
38.) What exactly is the "contract" that Audrey is threatening to renege on? Was this some kind of marriage contract? Was it a money for sex arrangement, perhaps? Was it possibly signed in blood?
X39.) Who is the Chuck that said that Tina was the last person to see Billy before he disappeared? And why does Audrey consider him "certifiable"? Well, we've now met Chuck. And he's now in intensive care, thanks to Freddie Sykes and his green gloved hand. So I'm crossing this one off the list.
40.) Who is Tina's husband that won't let her talk on the phone to Charlie or Audrey if he is around? I don't think Tina's husband is Chuck. Could her husband be Paul? Or is it someone whose name we don't even know? We have learned nothing more about Tina's husband.
41.) Why did Chuck steal Billy's truck? And does this have anything to do with Richard and the truck that he used to run over the little boy? Or was Billy's truck the other truck that was seen at the place where Richard cleaned the blood off the grille - which may or may not be some sort of rendezvous point for Red and the other drug runners? This is a damn good question since it seems to parallel the Richard Horne story. And we still don't know who Billy is.
42.) What did Tina tell Charlie on the phone about Billy that he then refused to tell Audrey? Was this in any way connected to the Richard stuff? And, either way, what did Charlie learn about Billy from Tina? We still don't have a clue what was said during that phone call.
X43.) What did Charlie promise to Tina on the phone? Was it simply to not share the information that Tina was telling him with Audrey? I'm going to go ahead and cross this one off the list since it's pretty obvious that Charlie did promise Tina that he wouldn't tell Audrey.
44.) Where is Angela and is she with Clark? Did something happen to her? We haven't learned anything else about Angela and Clark or why they are missing.
45.) Where is Clark and is he with Angela? Did something happen to both of them? Or did Clark do something to Angela? Again, we haven't learned anything else about Angela and Clark or where they are.
46.) Is the Mary that Clark was with at The Roadhouse two nights ago the same Mary that works for Sylvia Horne by taking care of Johnny Horne? I doubt that it has anything to with the OTHER Mary - the one that had been dating the young boy in New Mexico who then ended up kissing the girl that went home and ate a frogroach. We also haven't learned anything else about the Mary that was seen with Clark.
47.) How often does Angela have "dreams" about people and does she only have them when she's off her medication? Maybe without chemicals, she points. Could Angela be our dreamer?
48.) What is Angela on medication for? Has this been a problem that she's had for a long time? Maybe even since childhood? Or is it more recent? Does that medication, by any chance, contain haloperidol? That's what Phillip Gerard was on. It's a drug used for treating schizophrenia or multiple personalities. Hmmm...I wonder if there's any in Sarah Palmer's medicine cabinet.
49.) What exactly happened to Angela's mother? And did whatever happen cause her to get put on medication? This could actually be important. And just who is Angela's mother?
50.) Who was the "asseater" that ran Trick off the road? Is it someone that we know - like Richard leaving town or Evil Cooper arriving? Maybe it was when Evil Cooper and Richard came back together searching for the coordinates.
51.) What exactly was Trick under house arrest for? Did it have anything to do with the illegal drug trade in town? No clue on the answer to this one yet.
52.) Why are the Chromatics playing for a second time at The Roadhouse? Just like Au Revoir Simone in Part 9, these guys are wearing the EXACT same clothes. So is it from the same performance? It must be, right? But then why is it broken up and on two different parts? Is it because once you move one of them around with a link point the two performances will run consecutively? I think that it DOES have to do with putting the movie together with link points when it's finished. But I'm leaving this question for now.

Whew! That was exhausting. But we did manage to get rid of 11 of the 52 Part 12 questions. Not great, but it's a start. I'll be back after a short break with the Part 13 question review...

Re: TWIN PEAKS: THE RETURN - Discuss the past, present and future of all things Twin Peaks
Surprise! I'm back with more. Here's a review of the Part 13 questions...

PART 13 QUESTIONS

X1.) Why does Duncan Todd call his assistant, Roger, into his office? What is Duncan Todd up to now? He better be having Roger call him a good lawyer since Bushnell Mullins is coming after him. This one has been answered. Apparently, Duncan Todd was sicking Roger on following up on Anthony Sinclair's actions. A lot of good that did them both.
2.) How does Evil Cooper have such super strength to have killed Renzo with a single punch to the face? Is BOB still in him? Or does he just have doppelgänger Black Lodge super strength? I'm leaving this one for now since I'm really not sure if BOB is still inside Evil Cooper.
3.) Could The Farm Accountant be the billionaire and did he already know Evil Cooper? I think the answer to both questions is no, but he didn't leave right away which was surprising. I still think that the answer to this one is no, but I'm leaving it for now.
4.) Who actually hired Ray Monroe to kill Evil Cooper? I don't believe that it was Phillip Jeffries, but rather somebody posing as Phillip Jeffries. My guess is Phillip Gerard. Actually, it could be Phillip Jeffries now that we've (kinda) seen him and he appears to not necessarily be a Black Lodge entity. So maybe he DID hire Ray. Because I'm guessing that one of the wrong sets of coordinates that led to the death of Richard Horne was probably from Jeffries.
X5.) Who exactly gave Ray Monroe the Owl Cave Ring? Whoever it was, I believe it came directly from The Waiting Room where it had been since Dougie Jones' return and therefore it must have been Phillip Gerard who released it to the guard. Either that, or Phillip Gerard WAS the guard. I think we can safely say that it WAS Phillip Gerard who got the Owl Cave Ring to Ray Monroe. So I'm crossing this one off of the list.
6.) What does Ray Monroe mean when he says to Evil Cooper, "I know who you are"? Is he just guessing? Does he actually KNOW who Evil Cooper is? Is this similar to when Phillip Jeffries points to Agent Dale Cooper and says to Gordon Cole, "who do you think this is there"? We never did find out just how much Ray Monroe knew about Evil Cooper.
X7.) Where or what is "The Dutchman's" where Phillip Jeffries is said to be? Is it the Lost Dutchman's Gold Mine treasure that is said to be in the heart of the Superstition Mountains? Another question bites the dust since we've actually been there.
X8.) What exactly is written on the piece of paper that Evil Cooper retrieved from Ray Monroe Is it the coordinates that Ray got from Bill Hastings' secretary that Evil Cooper wanted? Or is it something else or coordinates leading to someplace else? I think we found out. We don't know for sure if the coordinates given to Evil Cooper by Ray Monroe was to the trap. I actually think that the ones that he got from Ray were the REAL coordinates. But either way, I'm pretty certain that a set of the coordinates is what Ray gave Evil Cooper so I'm removing this question from the list.
X9.) Why does Richard Horne get so mesmerized when watching Evil Cooper on the large monitor screen? Did Richard Horne just recognize his father from an old FBI picture that he was once shown? He didn't know it was his father, but he DID recognize Evil Cooper from an old FBI photo. So this question has been answered.
X10.) Where is the Detective Fusco's mother going? Not that it matters, but was she about to come to the office where the woman just pissed on the floor, pulled a knife, and had to be tased? Since it was unimportant to begin with and there's absolutely no way that we're ever going to know the answer, I'm crossing this question off the list.
11.) Who is Phil at the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department? Is this the black Captain that the Detective Fusco's turned Dougie Cooper's fingerprints over to? We never did find out exactly who Phil is. I still think it's the Captain.
12.) Who was the woman with the knife who was pissing on the floor at the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and had to be tased? And who was assisting Phil in the matter? Another one that we'll never get an answer for. But I'm leaving this one for now.
X13.) Will Dougie Cooper's discarded fingerprints still make a hit on the national fingerprint database since they were searched for? I'm pretty sure that the search itself should have alerted somebody - probably the Pentagon again. I'm going to dump this question since it doesn't really matter now that we got our old Agent Cooper back in Part 16.
14.) Are Anthony Sinclair's police friend - Detective Clark and/or his Crooked Partner - the same as either Detective Loomis or Detective Stockton from the fraudulent insurance "case files" that Dougie Cooper discovered and turned over to Bushnell Mullins? Was Detective Clark using an alias for the insurance scams or are there two more dirty cops involved in the fraud against the Lucky 7 Insurance company? We've never learned anything else about the Las Vegas dirty cops.
15.) Did Detective Clark really sell Anthony Sinclair some Aconitine or was it something else? Since he voiced concern to his Crooked Partner - did he REALLY sell Sinclair poison so that he could kill somebody? We'll probably never know now.
X16.) What did the Crooked Partner call Mr. Todd about? Do these cops simply not understand that Anthony Sinclair now needs to kill Dougie even though they all work for Duncan Todd? Is that why Duncan Todd called Roger into his office and asked him about Sinclair right before Chantal Hutchens showed up and took them both out? I'm calling this one answered since it was obviously a call to report Anthony Sinclair.
17.) Where has Steven Burnett been for the last two days? Did him and maybe Gersten Hayward run off together somewhere? Or did something even worse happen to him? This is still a valid question with all of the other people that seem to have been missing for the last few days.
18.) Which two cops does Anthony Sinclair think Bushnell Mullins is asking about? Is it Detective Clark and his Crooked Partner? Or is it Detective Loomis and Detective Stockton from the false insurance papers? I doubt that we'll ever learn any more about the insurance scam.
X19.) What stuff of his dad's was Bobby telling Big Ed and Norma he had just found? Was it the papers from inside the metal cylinder that will lead them to Jack Rabbit's Palace? Or has Bobby found something else entirely? It's got to be the papers that were inside the metal cylinder with the directions to Jack Rabbits Palace. Right? I mean, we've got NO reason to believe that something else has been found that we don't know about. So I'm calling this one answered.
X20.) Who is Walter Lawford and where did he come from? I know I don't like him. Mom and Pop store killer! We never did learn anything else about Walter's background. But it's unimportant now that he's gone. So I'm removing this question from the list.
X21.) Who owns the other four Norma's RR's and where are they located? They seem to all be nearby, but where exactly are they? Is there one in Dear Meadow? It's a moot point now. Walter's in control of those other diners. So this question is out of here.
22.) Was Dr. Jacoby somehow hypnotizing Nadine with his potato logic and/or did he trigger her with the phrase "there was a big storm that day"? She sure seemed a little zoned out when he was through talking to her. We may never know. It sure was creepy, though.
23.) What - if anything - happened on the day of the storm when Dr. Jacoby found Nadine Hurley on her hands and knees in the supermarket looking for a potato? He sure did remember everything about what happened that night. We'll probably never know.
24.) Will Dr. Jacoby and Nadine Hurley become an "item"? Or will he maybe just tie her up in his basement laboratory and run experiments on her? Just sayin'. My guess is yes - and it's certainly unimportant - but I'm leaving this question for now.
X25.) Why is Sarah Palmer drinking cheap generic Vodka when she usually buys Smirnoff? Is it because they were all out of Smirnoff at Kiri's? Or has Sarah dropped down to the level of drinking shitty vodka? Another unimportant question. And one that was probably already answered - the grocery store ran out and she had to buy some cheap stuff to get through the week. So I'm taking this question off the list.
26.) Why does the boxing match playing on the television in Sarah Palmer's house keep playing the same 20 seconds over and over again? And why is she watching such an old boxing match on TV to begin with? Could this be an old Bushnell Mullins match? This is still a valid question and one that I hope may still get answered. Though, with the way things move sideways sometimes, I imagine that the power of the thing inside of Sarah coupled with the energy that must be fierce within that house is what was causing the apparent time slips. Maybe. You got me.
27.) Why does the boxing match playing the same 20 seconds over and over again on the television in Sarah Palmer's house suddenly change ever so slightly the last time? Accompanied by the usual static, the last time around there is an extra pause with extra audience applause in the middle of the loop. See the answer to #26 above.
28.) Does the mirrors above the couch in the Palmer living room reflect an alternate timeline? The left mirror looks very dark. The figure's hair appears to be slightly grayer than Sarah's. And the movements in the left mirror don't seem to quite match what Sarah is doing at all times. This is a strange one. I think the answer is no and that any anomalies in the mirrors are due to angles and lighting. However, I'm leaving this question for now.
X29.) Who is the "she" that Audrey Horne is asking Charlie about? Is this the Tina that was talking to Charlie in part 12? Most likely. Audrey's basically asking the same question that she did in Part 12 - whether or not Charlie is going to tell her what "she" said. So I'm removing this one from the list.
30.) Why does Audrey Horne feel like she's someone else? Is she play acting or does she REALLY feel like another person? I think that we may find out the next time that we see her in that white room. YIKES!
31.) Why does Charlie tell Audrey that this is Existentialism 101? This statement bothered me. The definition of existentialism is: a chiefly 20th century philosophical movement embracing diverse doctrines but centering on analysis of individual existence in an unfathomable universe and the plight of the individual who must assume ultimate responsibility for acts of free will without any certain knowledge of what is right or wrong or good or bad. I think that we're about to understand ALL of these Audrey related questions. So I'm leaving this one for now.
32.) Why does Audrey seem to not remember where the Roadhouse is? Charlie seems to think that she should know. And she should, right? With what we saw at the end of Part 16, I think we know enough to cross this one off the list. She's obviously "someplace else" or just plain batshit crazy. I'm going with the former.
33.) What does Charlie mean when he says to Audrey, "are you going to stop playing games or do I have to end your story, too"? Who else's story has he ended? Is Charlie the author of some kind of story that Audrey Horne - if not all of us - are stuck in? I'm leaving this one for now. But I'm guessing that when Audrey puts down that mirror in the white room, Charlie - in some form - will be there.
34.) What is the story of the little girl who lived down the lane that Audrey mentioned to Charlie? Is this in reference to the Jodie Foster movie? It probably doesn't matter, but I'm leaving this one for now.
35.) What does Charlie mean when he says, "you're the one that wanted to go, now you're looking like you want to stay"? Is this conversation supposed to have taken place immediately following the one in Part 12? I think the meaning behind all of this will become much more clear after the finale.
36.) What does Audrey mean when she says, "it's like Ghostwood here"? Is this a reference to all of the leaves and trees seen around the room? Or something more? We may or may not ever understand this particular comment.
37.) Why is James Hurley still singing the same song - "Just You"? Is James himself stuck in some kind of loop? Or did the motorcycle crash that made him "special" and "cool" also take the life of his love - Donna Hayward? Another unimportant question. And the answer is probably simply that he's unable to learn anything else - and continually pines for his long lost love, Donna - since his motorcycle accident. Not to mention the slight mental damage possibly caused by said accident. Whoops! I mentioned it. My bad. I'll leave it for now since it may all be tied up in the alternate Roadhouse scenario (which I still believe firmly in).
38.) Who are the two backup singers with James Hurley? Are they supposed to represent the two dead girls that originally sang the song with James - Donna Hayward and Laura's cousin, Maddy? We'll probably never know.
X39.) Why does Shelly's friend Renee have a tattoo of the number "7663" on her left arm? It's a real life tattoo - of her grandparents wedding anniversary - but will David Lynch use it somehow in the storyline? I'm saying that Lynch WON'T use it since it is a real tattoo and besides, what could it possibly mean? So I'm knocking this one off of the list.
40.) Why does Shelly's friend Renee have a tattoo of a blue rose on her right arm? The actress also already had a blue rose tattoo. Is this why she was hired in the first place? I think that when Lynch saw her tatto - or was told about her tattoo - he decided to give her a minor role. It really can't mean anything to the storyline. So I'm also knocking this one off of the list.
X41.) Who is Shelly's friend Renee sitting and talking to in the booth while James performs his song? She's talking and laughing with someone, but we can't see who it is. It was probably the other girl that was with Renee, Chuck and Skipper in Part 15. And completely unimportant at this point. So I'm getting rid of this question.
42.) Why does Big Ed Hurley's reflection appear to take a sip of soup when he hasn't? Are we beginning to witness glitches in the matrix? At least, in the town of Twin Peaks? Who knows? But we're probably going to experience a spatial rift during the finale.
43.) What exactly was on the folded up piece of paper that Big Ed burned? Was it a secret message to join the Bookhouse Boys on an expedition to Jack Rabbit's Palace on October 1st at 2:53? Or was it a spell to make Norma fall back in love with him?

I made it through another batch. And we got rid of 10 of the 43 Part 13 questions. WOO-HOO! But WAIT! There's even MORE. I'll be back with a review of the Part 14 questions soon...

Re: TWIN PEAKS: THE RETURN - Discuss the past, present and future of all things Twin Peaks
Alright. I've got a fresh pot of coffee brewing up. And a fresh list of Part 14 questions to review. So let's rock...

PART 14 QUESTIONS

1.) How sick is Sheriff Harry S. Truman that he has to be in a doctor's care? At the rate this is going, I'm giving him until the end of Part 15. Maybe Part 16. He's a goner. I can't believe he's still with us going into the finale. Maybe Harry will pull through after all.
2.) Was Lois Duffy the young girl who swallowed the frogroach back in 1956? I'm going with no. I'm not even sure that she was the first doppelgänger. She was just the first doppelgänger that got caught. We don't have an answer for this one yet.
3.) What is it that Gordon Cole handed to Albert when he said that he thinks he "got it"? Am I dumbing out? I can't for the life of me think of what this could be. I STILL can't figure out what this was. Anyone?
X4.) What is the deal with the weird window washer outside the hotel room window? The way that they keep showing how sensitive Gordon Cole's hearing aid is, I keep thinking that it's going to end up on the Experiment's head with some cranked up Mariah Carey or some such crap to drive the thing back to it's own dimension once and for all. I'm pretty sure that there's no more to this one. So I'm knocking it off the list.
X5.) What exactly did Evil Cooper say to Diane Evans about Major Garland Briggs during their last night together? Why would Major Briggs have even been brought up? Now we understand that it was Evil Cooper trying to find out information and asking about Major Briggs and NOT the other way around. So this question has been answered.
6.) Was Diane Evans telling the truth about her half sister, Janey-E? Part of me doesn't believe a THING that this one says. Is she SO estranged from her half sister that she's NEVER seen a picture of her brother-in-law, Douglas Jones? I'm leaving this one for now.
X7.) Why does Special Agent Randall Headley smack his desk and yell at Agent Wilson the way that he does? Is it because Agent Wilson is an FBI agent that doesn't seem to understand how to eliminate a list of suspects? We now know that it's just the assholey way that he acts - ESPECIALLY around Agent Wilson. So this one has been answered.
8.) Why does Gordon Cole have significant dreams involving real life actresses? I believe that this was the first time that anyone other than a real life musician has ever been mentioned on Twin Peaks. I found it to be a very strange fourth wall breaker considering that it was dealing with a dream about a conversation about dreams with a REAL person. I mean, I have dreams like that, too. But I'm not a fictional character like Gordon Cole is. Or AM I? Or IS he?
9.) In the Monica Bellucci dream, what case is Gordon in Paris working on? I doubt that we'll ever hear another word about it, but inquiring minds want to know. There's been no new information about this.
10.) What other Monica Bellucci dreams has Gordon had and what were they about? I can only imagine. Gordon is such a dirty old man. But seriously, has he ever had any other Monica Bellucci dreams that have helped him solve any cases? We're still waiting to hear about THESE.
11.) Why couldn't Gordon see Cooper's face in the Paris dream? As far as dream interpretation goes - featureless faces suggest that the dreamer may feel unnoticed and unappreciated. On the other hand, some dream analysts believe that a blank or unclear face represents a teacher. That is, someone who is there to show and teach you a lesson but you are unprepared for it. Please note that you CAN clearly see that Agent Cooper IS wearing his FBI pin in the Paris dream.
12.) What was with the odd finger gestures by Monica Bellucci in the Paris dream? I believe that it is a mudra. Mudras are different hand positions normally used in Hinduism and Buddhism. The one she is doing is called the surabhi mudra which means wish fulfilling. I still think that it was the surabhi mudra. But I'm leaving this question for now.
13.) What did Monica Bellucci mean when she said, "we're like the dreamer who dreams and then lives inside the dream, but who is the dreamer"? Was she referring to Agent Cooper and the dream that he was telling Gordon about back in the Philadelphia office? It's from an ancient Sanskrit scripture called The Upanishads which David Lynch read passages from before screenings of his 2006 movie Inland Empire.
14.) Why did Gordon get a very powerful uneasy feeling after talking to Monica in the Paris dream? Did it have anything to do with not being able to see Agent Cooper's face? What comes next is the flashback to the Philadelphia office with Phillip Jeffries. Was THAT was caused the powerful uneasy feeling.
15.) What does Gordon mean when he says that Phillip Jeffries "appeared and didn't appear" in the Philadelphia FBI office? Was this just an odd way of Gordon saying that Phillip Jeffries appeared and then disappeared? Or has Gordon experienced more than one timeline? One in which Phillip Jeffries appeared that day and one in which he didn't? The whole "Jeffries flashback" thing is starting to give ME a powerful uneasy feeling.
X16.) Why does Phillip Jeffries talk in a slightly different voice during Gordon's Paris dream? Was his voice dubbed over by a different actor? And, if so, why? This one has been answered. His voice WAS dubbed - giving us THREE different versions of the "Jeffries flashback".
17.) Why does Phillip Jeffries talk using slightly different words during Gordon's Paris dream? It's not the same words as what he says during Fire Walk With Me. However, it IS the same words that he says during the version in The Missing Pieces. This is another thing that really confirms there being at least two different timelines during the original Twin Peaks and Fire Walk With Me (which I believe in some places like the actual town of Twin Peaks has been expanded to three different timelines in Twin Peaks: The Return).
X18.) Why did neither Gordon or Albert appear to remember the time when Phillip Jeffries "popped" into the Philadelphia office from Buenos Aires? How could they have forgotten that? I would have found it impossible to forget what he said as well as to forget that bizarre Southern/New Orleans accent of his. But I am going to chock it up to two old guys trying to remember something from 25 years ago and go ahead and knock it off the list.
X19.) What story is Sheriff Frank Truman telling Deputy Chad Broxford as he walks him inside the conference room to arrest him? Not that it matters, I'm just curious. I'm just going to go ahead and knock this one off the list since it's so unimportant.
X20.) Why does the Twin Peaks police's movements sputter as they approach their destination 253 yards east of Jack Rabbits Palace? Is it only because they are so close to the right time and date - 10/1 at 2:53 - which is only a few minutes away? I believe it's just more of the wonkiness that occurs when you get close to the vortexes. They didn't slow down, they just staggered a bit. So I'm going to call this one answered and remove it from the list.
X21.) Why did Naido end up getting spit out of the Void right there at Jack Rabbits Palace? Does it have anything to do with how she exited the Void by flying off into space? This has pretty much been answered. And the whole thing proved that the American Girl's watch was indeed set for 10/1 when we saw her with Agent Cooper in Part 3 right before he got sucked into Electrical Outlet #3. Of course, her watch also appears to show that it is a Saturday which would put the year at 2016. Which would be AFTER the dossier from The Secret History Of Twin Peaks is found. Which is a whole new can of worms. But this question was answered.
22.) Why is there an operatic rendition of Miserere playing 430% too slow in the background when Naido is discovered? Was Naido an opera singer? And is THIS the 430 that the Fireman told Cooper about? This one is a strange one. IS there an opera connection to all of this?
23.) Why does Naido sound like a monkey when she tries to talk? Could she be the infamous Judy (and possibly even Josie's sister)? I have to ask. I am so curious to know more about Naido.
24.) What is the weird smoking object that the Fireman puts in Andy's hands when he's in The White Lodge? It almost looked like a genie's lamp, but obviously is used to project images via smoke. Maybe it's like a portable mini-bell of some kind.
25.) Why are there two angels in the picture of Laura Palmer that Andy sees in The White Lodge? There was only one in the picture on the wall of her room and only one - the same one presumably - at the end of Fire Walk With Me. So why is there two here? It probably means nothing, but it seems a little odd to me.
26.) What exactly is happening in the future scene that Andy sees in The White Lodge with the flashing phone line in the Twin Peaks Sheriff's Department followed by Andy walking Lucy down a shaking hallway? It doesn't look good. Could Lucy be having to deal with the reality of their son (or lack thereof)? The flashing phone line could be from when the Log Lady later called Hawk to tell him that she was dying. But the Lucy scene with the shaking hallway is still a mystery. Though we're bound to see this sometime during the finale.
27.) Why is the telephone pole at Sparkwood & 21 with the numbers 324810 and a giant 6 on it shown three times in a row to Andy? Was it some kind of warning about Satanic forces coming to Twin Peaks? We haven't really seen any 666 symbolism before this - at least, not this obvious - but things are definitely overall getting wonky as hell. I'll leave this for now. Though I seriously can't think of another explanation for it. Unless it's saying, perhaps...THREE timelines. Go on - shoot me now. But I seriously get the shivers when I see those poles. They're NOT good.
28.) Why are there three versions of Sheriff Frank, Hawk and Bobby running around when they zap back from Jack Rabbits Palace? Are there actually THREE different timelines bumping into each other in the town of Twin Peaks? Maybe it's all tied in with those three pole shots. Or three timelines. or both.
29.) Why are some of the three versions of Sheriff Frank, Hawk and Bobby coming back to Jack Rabbits Palace from different directions than where they just were? I can't figure this one out. One set seems to be just arriving instead of having traveled the 253 yards and back. This is a good question. Did one group arrive late. The second group just take a different route back. And then the third would be the one that we watched encountering Naido. At any rate, this question stays for now.
30.) Why is Naido so very important? Is she perhaps a vessel that will be needed in order to bring either Laura Palmer or Agent Cooper back? We will definitely be finding out her importance in the final two hours. Man, that sounds so short!
31.) Who are the people who want Naido dead? Are they Woodsmen? Are they the same people that Sarah Palmer said was coming when she flipped out in the grocery store? Another good question which we should know the answer to by the end of the finale.
32.) What exactly happened the time that a dog got lost in the jail cells at the Twin Peaks Sheriff's Department and why did Lucy have a pair of pajamas in her locker ever since that night? I can only imagine. We will probably never find out.
33.) Why does the drunk in the cell next to Naido and Chad repeat the last few words that everybody says? Is he in the same state of mind that Dougie Cooper is in? There's something REALLY off about this guy. Kinda like the Drugged-Out Mother that kept saying "119". And so many others.
X34.) Who is the girl that James Hurley is interested in - Renee - married to? Is it anybody we know? Well, we know who it is now. It's Chuck. Who's busy spitting up foam in intensive care at Calhoun Memorial Hospital thanks to Freddie Sykes and his green gloved super strength.
35.) Why did Freddie Sykes's hand start bleeding when a doctor once tried to remove the green glove? Has it literally transformed into being his skin in such a short period of time? Eww!
36.) Did Freddie really snap the neck of the store clerk that tried to stop him from buying the green gardening glove? Did he just leave him for dead? Is Freddie a wanted man back in the UK? Again...Eww!
37.) Who purchased the airline ticket for Freddie to get to the United States? Does the Fireman have the ability to buy airline tickets or was it somebody else? Did Phillip Gerard maybe arrange it like he did with Ray Monroe and the Owl Cave Ring?
38.) What is behind the closed door in the furnace room at the Great Northern Hotel where the humming sound seems to be emanating from? Is it a giant electrical socket with the number 15 on it? Since James appears to have been a pussy when it came to opening that closed door, we will probably never find out.
39.) What is the proboscis looking thing that flicks out from behind Sarah Palmer's face mask? Could it be a remnant of the frogroach that she swallowed when she was a little girl in New Mexico? Yeah, I'm going there. Either that or Mother has some mini-tentacles.
40.) What is the thing behind Sarah Palmer's face mask that has a darkened "spiritual mound" ring finger and vicious teeth? Is this the Mother that we have heard so much about? Mother...Experiment...Experiment Model. Take your pick. But I'll leave this question for now until we're sure.
41.) Who or what is it that says, "do you really want to fuck with this"? I'm pretty sure that we just heard the Experiment speak. Like #40 above, I'm leaving this one for now until we have some confirmation.
42.) What exactly is the "nuthouse" that Sophie accuses Megan of hanging out and getting high in? Is there some place where all the kids in Twin Peaks go to get high? And is that where all of the kids are at that seem to have been missing for the last two days? There's been no more clues on this yet.
43.) Who is Paula and do we know her parents? I doubt it, but you never know. There's been no more information about Paula yet. Or an update on the sweater.
44.) Who is Megan's uncle? If I'm following the story right then it's Charlie who is Tina's brother - which is why she would talk to him on the phone even though she can't stand Audrey Horne. There's been no confirmation yet. But I'm still hanging with it being Charlie. If any of these people even exist outside of Audrey Horne's mind.
45.) How did Billy manage to jump a six foot tall fence? I wonder what the hell was chasing him. There's still been no updates about Billy or how he does things.
46.) What exactly happened to Billy? How did he get so bloodied? There's still been no updates about Billy or how he got so bloody.
47.) What or who broke Megan's mom Tina and Billy up? I'm guessing that since it happened recently it was Audrey Horne who broke them up. And that would be why Audrey and Tina can't stand each other (and I'm also wondering if the other girl in the bar - Sophie - might have had something going on with Billy as well. She seemed VERY interested in learning about Tina's affair with him. This also hasn't been answered yet. Though again, I'm starting to think that ALL of these people at The Roadhouse that we don't know are just figments of Audrey's imagination. Or maybe Audrey's Dream.

Cool! Another batch done. Even though we were only able to get rid of 9 of the 46 Part 14 questions. I'm taking a break. But I'll be back with the last review - the Part 15 questions - later tonight or early tomorrow.

Re: TWIN PEAKS: THE RETURN - Discuss the past, present and future of all things Twin Peaks
Okay. Here's the last batch. And then we move on. So let's get started with a review of the Part 15 questions...

PART 15 QUESTIONS

1.) Why is traffic moving in the wrong direction when Nadine Hurley is walking down the street? I highly doubt that it's an editing mistake. So what does it mean? Could one of the timelines in the town of Twin Peaks be a mirrored world? Things sure seem to be running backwards by the end of Part 16.
2.) Why did Walter think that Norma Jennings didn't have any family? Did she tell him that at one time? If so, did Walter's timeline then shift? And, if so, did Big Ed Hurley help to cause it to happen somehow? Since this directly ties in with the alternate Norma Jennings family background in The Secret History Of Twin Peaks, I think it's pretty important.
3.) Did Big Ed Hurley cast some kind of voodoo on Walter and Norma's relationship - is he "dreaming" that Walter leaves when he's sitting at the RR Diner counter with his eyes closed? Was Big Ed responsible for "dreaming" that Walter and Norma broke up? He sure looks to be in deep meditation and controlling things if you watch closely. Hey, whatever it takes.
4.) Where exactly is Evil Cooper when the Convenience Store suddenly shows up and is he anywhere near the town of Twin Peaks? Are the woods that everything overlays by any chance be the Ghostwood National Forest? A valid question so far unanswered.
5.) How exactly does the old timey radio box thing work and is the Jumping Man connected to it somehow? It appears to be the same one that the Woodsmen were using in the Convenience Store scene during Fire Walk With Me. And the Jumping Man was there as well. Is he tuned in to then interact with others? And, in this case, to act as a transmitter and/or receiver allowing those in different dimensions to communicate with one another? Who knows how it works. I just hope that we get to learn more about this and other technology that The Black Lodge is using to infiltrate our world during the finale, but I'm not holding my breath.
6.) What exactly is the Jumping Man doing when we see him? Is he channeling all of the different people that have ever had connections to other dimensions? Is that why people like Sarah Palmer and Phillip Jeffries are within him? And does that mean that the Jumping Man was controlling Sarah Palmer with the looping boxing transmissions? It's another valid question so far unanswered.
7.) Why does the Convenience Store lead to a place that looks EXACTLY like the Red Diamond City Motel where Teresa Banks turned tricks? Are they replicating our world? Making another version of it so that they can take over this one? I'm definitely waiting for more information on this as well as that hinky Roadhouse.
8.) Who exactly is the Bosomy Woman and where did she/he/it come from? Obviously, whatever it is, it's from the Lodges since it speaks in reverse. But is this another of those neutral areas? Or does one Lodge in particular run it? Is it actually more of a prison or jail where people are "kept"? And is it where Major Garland Briggs was hanging out while he was "hibernating"?
9.) Why is the room that Phillip Jeffries in almost identical to the room in The Mauve World where American Girl was sitting in front of a fireplace? It's no coincidence that it's got the same structure and architecture in it's walls and ceiling area. Is the Convenience Store Motel in the same "between two worlds" place as The Mauve World where we first met Naido and American Girl? I'm definitely eager to learn more about this. Could it mean that when Agent Cooper was in the non-exist-ent he was actually just here? Hanging out with the Phillip Jeffries Cháhú?
10.) If he didn't call him to kill Evil Cooper, why DID Phillip Jeffries contact Ray Monroe? What were the two of them talking about and was it the same Ray Monroe? Could Ray Monroe have a doppelgänger? Maybe Jeffries thought he was working with the REAL Agent Cooper. That teapot sure didn't sound like an Evil Teapot to me.
11.) Who exactly is Judy? I'm still guessing that it's either Major Garland Briggs or the post blonde and brunette version of Laura Palmer - the red headed Judy - from the original idea for Fire Walk With Me. Or it could be Naido (who may or may not be Josie's sister).
12.) Where do the coordinates that Phillip Jeffries gave Evil Cooper lead to and are they EXACTLY the same as the ones that were on Ruth Davenport's arm? I believe that they are. And I think that they lead to the same place that Hawk is headed to under the moon on Blue Pine Mountain. Damn it! I was almost able to cross off a question. Well, it's either the good coordinates or they led to that trap that zapped Richard Horne out of existence. Or not. What if he comes back as Linda. That's a pretty trendy thing to do these days.
13.) Where exactly did Evil Cooper previously meet Judy at? If Judy isn't Major Briggs or a reincarnated Laura Palmer in a wig, then she must be someone else in Twin Peaks since THAT'S where everybody seems to be heading. But who? Agent Cooper has met both Laura Palmer and Naido if one of them turn out to be Judy. I'm so confused. I'm starting to feel like I don't want to talk about Judy.
14.) Why does the telephone suddenly begin ringing, interrupting Evil Cooper's meeting with Phillip Jeffries? It seems like some kind of alarm. If that's the case, it was probably Richard Horne's arrival outside that triggered the alarm. We may very well go back and find out in the finale.
X15.) Does Richard Horne have ANY idea that Evil Cooper - or any Cooper - might be his father? I don't think he's necessarily smart enough to have put two and two together yet. YEAH! This question has been answered. We now know that Richard didn't seem to have a clue about Evil Cooper being his father.
X16.) Who does Evil Cooper text the message "Las Vegas?" to before taking off with Richard Horne? Is this the message that was sent to Diane by someone back in Part 12? Or is it a red herring coincidence and it's just Evil Cooper texting the Hutchens family to see if they've finished up in Las Vegas? I'm going to say that it WAS Diane and go ahead and call this question answered.
17.) What is Steven Burnett talking about when he says that he did it - what exactly happened? Did he kill his wife, Becky Burnett? Or kill somebody else? Like Billy, perhaps? I wonder if we're ever going to find out what any of this means.
18.) Why does Gersten Hayward say that "she" did it - who exactly is the "she"? Is she saying that some other woman - most likely Becky - DROVE Steven to do whatever it is that he did? Or is she implying that they should frame someone else - again, most likely Becky - for whatever it is that Steven did? I wonder if we're ever going to find out who "she" is.
19.) What exactly did the "she" that Steven and Gersten are talking about give to Steven? Is Gersten asking Steven what drug somebody gave him? Could it be the Maryanne that Richard Horne was told by Red to deal with in town in order to get some Sparkle? Is THAT who the "she" is in all of this? I'm waiting to see if the drug - Sparkle or whatever this new stuff is if it's something different - is connected to The Black Lodge in any way.
20.) Where exactly is the "up" that Steven asks Gersten if she will be joining him at? I don't think that he's talking about heaven. Is it "up" as in up in a vortex? Is it a room at the Red Diamond Convenience Store Motel once they get there? And free tickets to see "The" Nine Inch Nails at The Roadhouse? I still think it may be where a pile of missing dead kids are. Or maybe it's the white room where Audrey Horne is.
21.) Why does Steven's vision start to get all blurry as he's talking to Gersten about going "up" and being "gone"? What exactly is this guy on? He is RIPPED! Is this some kind of Lodge manufactured drug? Something BEYOND Sparkle? I've been there.
22.) What does Steven mean when he ponders whether or not he will be with the rhinoceros when he's "gone"? Is this a reference to some other-worldly inter-dimensional zoo? Maybe the same place that the penguins are at that were mentioned by the girl with the itchy armpit - Ella - to her friend Chloe way back in Part 9? At least, the animal mentioned this time wasn't a black and white one. but there's still way too much zoo talk going on.
23.) What does Steven mean when he ponders whether or not he will be with the lightning in a bottle when he's "gone"? The term literally means to capture something powerful and elusive and to then be able to hold it and show it to the world. What Steven would do with that - being a high school graduate and all - is anybody's guess. This guy is such a loser.
24.) Why does Steven suddenly start talking about turquoise? You've got me. The chemical formula for turquoise is CuAl648·4H2O. So who knows, maybe that's another brand new set of coordinates. I'll bet that he can't SPELL turquoise.
25.) Why does Gersten start acting so weird after she hears the gunshot and exactly what drug is this chick on? The way she was asking Steven what "she" gave him makes it appear that he is on something else entirely. So is Gersten just on the Sparkle? Or did they all just get some REALLY KICK ASS make-you-think-your-foot-is-talking-to-you weed from Jerry Horne? Actually, Jerry Horne weed could explain a WHOLE lot of what we've been seeing lately.
X26.) How does Cyril Pons know exactly which trailer Steven Burnett lives in? Has Cyril Pons fallen on such hard times as a crappy reporter that he's to the point of having to live in the New Fat Trout Trailer Park himself? I'm going to go ahead and say yes - Cyril Pons lives at the New Fat Trout Trailer Park. And now, I'm going to cross this question off of the list.
27.) Is the Chuck that is married to Renee the same one that told Audrey Horne that Tina was the last person to see Billy and the same one that Charlie said stole Billy's truck the week before? It has to be, right? So why aren't any of these people concerned in the least about the guy that's supposedly missing - Billy? Chuck is apparently the same one that is currently spewing white foam from his mouth at the hospital. Or none of these people exist except in Audrey's mind.
28.) Why did the ZZ Top song sputter and skip when Freddie Sykes punched Chuck and Skipper with his green gloved hand? I don't think it was from Chuck and Skipper hitting the floor. Was it? Was there THAT much vibration going on? It almost seemed like it was more of a connection to the electricity going wonky. I'm going to take this question off the list since it works either way. Either the guys dropping to the floor skipped the record or the electricity sputtered a little bit. So this one's basically been answered.
29.) What damage did Freddie cause to Chuck and Skipper and is it permanent? Chuck had white foam coming out of his mouth the last time that we saw him on the floor of The Roadhouse. Neither of them looked very good. Maybe James will have some new friends to talk to on the short bus ride to work. We're still waiting to find out.
30.) Does anybody else in the jail cells see or hear the drooling Drunk or is it only Chad that sees and hears him? Now that we have somebody other than Naido in the cells with Chad, it seems like only Chad sees and hears the Drunk. What could this mean? Can Chad see Lodge entities that the others can't see.
31.) What is Naido trying to feel with her hands when James Hurley first notices her in the cell across from him? It was a lot like when she first met Agent Cooper in The Mauve World and seemed to be trying to feel his face. Which blind people do. But there's nobody else in the cell with her. I wonder if we'll be going back to that room where Agent Cooper first encountered Naido during the finale.
X32.) What happened to Dougie Cooper when he stuck the fork in the electrical outlet and electrocuted himself? I doubt that he is dead. So is he still at the Jones house? Did his Agent Cooper memory and senses return? Is our FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper finally back? And, if so, will he recognize Janey-E or remember ANYTHING that has just happened to him? Well, this one has been answered - we got our Agent Cooper back. Now, where's that damn FBI pin? And some cherry pie? And some coffee?
33.) What and/or who did Margaret Lanterman - the Log Lady - mean when she warned Hawk about "the one under the moon on Blue Pine Mountain"? Is she warning Hawk about meeting up with his own Shadow Self - the Dweller On The Threshold? R.I.P. Log Lady!
34.) Why does Charlie mention the "threshold" to Audrey Horne when referring to the doorway? Was this just another sly reference by Mr. Lynch to the Dweller On The Threshold? It probably doesn't matter now that Audrey is in the white room. But I'm leaving this question for now.
35.) What exactly is Audrey talking about when she says "it's absolutely fucking impossible"? Does she mean impossible for a hot bitchy babe like herself to be married to a bore like little Charlie? Or impossible for absolutely everything she is thinking to be real as she begins to wake up from her coma? Or impossible that she could have such a late and inconsequential role in the new Twin Peaks? I guess I was wrong about that last comment. But what exactly IS her role? And where in the hell is she? I have a feeling that the finale will be "absolutely fucking impossible" to beat on television for a long time to come.
36.) Why does Audrey say that she's never really seen Charlie like she's seeing him now and that it's like she's meeting a different person? Is Audrey losing control of her own hallucinations? Or is Charlie perhaps just a screen memory of who she has REALLY been dealing with this whole time? Some alien Mother/Experiment looking thing-a-ma-jig? I'm waiting for the Reptilian Charlie to be standing behind her in that white room during the first few minutes on Sunday's finale.
37.) Why does Audrey suddenly attack and start choking Charlie? Is she trying to escape a world that she thinks Charlie is responsible for? Or does she think that by killing Charlie, she will finally be free to go where she wants (i.e. The Roadhouse)? She's been wanting to choke Charlie ever since he wouldn't tell her what Tina said. Frankly, I'm surprised that it took this long.
38.) Who was Ruby waiting for at The Bang Bang Bar (aka The Roadhouse)? Is it anybody that we know? There's been no Ruby update yet. I hope nobody on that dance floor stepped on her.
39.) Why does Ruby suddenly start crawling across the floor of The Roadhouse? Can Ruby not walk? Or was she compelled to crawl because of Dougie Cooper's crawling in an alternate timeline? Your guess is as good as mine.
40.) Why does Ruby suddenly start screaming after crawling across the floor of The Roadhouse? Did she feel that jolt of electrical current as Dougie Cooper pushed that fork in the electrical socket in an alternate timeline/dimension? Or did she just hear that James Hurley was up next after The Veils? Or maybe the realization that Twin Peaks: The Return will be over two days from now. YIKES!

And that does it. We only got rid of 4 of the 40 Part 15 questions. But that's better than none. And now I can move on to answering some messages and getting the Part 16 synopsis and questions up. See ya tomorrow with some of that...

Is this a clue as to what Bad Cooper is looking for on Sherilyn Fenn's Instagram page??

[link to www.instagram.com (secure)]

Look what symbol she is wearing.

Has it also confirmed she is the dreamer?

Is she to vanish in black smoke, as did Tulpa Diane and Dougie?

Are there four Audreys, like there were three Diane's at the moment of Tulpa Diane's exit from the hotel room?

Re: TWIN PEAKS: THE RETURN - Discuss the past, present and future of all things Twin Peaks
I don't think this is likely but I will jot it down here anyway as it was just something I thought about... and with Lynch you never know.

What if Naido is Audrey? Some think Naido is Diane but what if the rape story she told is a warped version of Audrey's rape because she was comatose at the time.

She associates Diane as the teller because it is her link to Dale Cooper

The covered eyes are because she hasn't been seeing reality for 25 years.

Both Diane and Audrey smoked. They both wore red shoes (but so have other characters).

Albert may have known where Diane drank, but nowhere has it said he knew her personally to know what she looked like, so Tulpa Diane was just the Lodge spy, as the real Diane was murdered by Bob Cooper or someone paid to kill her.

Was American Girl the real Diane (same hairdo but opposite colour)? Was she played by the Ronette Pulaski actress because she was raped also?

Just thinking aloud here.
