Regardless, an accelerometer is going to measure its relation to down, not relative to the stars.
If left in the same place and the Earth rotates, it is still in the same relation to down. AGAIN it does not and can not measure relative to the stars. All it proves is it is stationary relative to the Earth.

If you move to a different location it still measures relative to Earth. Down's direction has changed but not the force and AGAIN the accelerometer does not measure relative to the stars. The video made the claim that it should because it was set in a banking airplane and then was off on the ground. The problem there is the banking airplane does not just have a single force in the angled direction. The "down" in the bank is a combination of two forces, gravity and the centripetal force from the turn. When the centripetal force is removed then there is a different total force left. Moving to a different location on the surface of the Earth still has the same total force in the same relative direction.

So I was right, they did misuse their equipment and it was a waste of time.

By the end of 2017, Flat Earth movement will be the biggest ever in history.
