Correct. Ripple and several other options are more interesting. I make $300 per month profit mining Monero. There is a pumper group currently trying to pump up the value of Ethereum Classic. Follow this guy on Twitter [link to twitter.com (secure)] to see what he is pimping. He is a con artist so be careful following his advice. Early on he will be legit when pimping. As price rises he starts cashing in while pimping to buy more. Coin developers pay this guy to pimp their coins because he is a master at it.
