He's a smart kid who enjoys learning.

Could have just pointed out that there are an infinite number of fractions between 1 and 2, and another infinite number of fractions between 2 and 3, etc.

Is the Mandela effect real? Some people are firmly convinced. Others are firmly unconvinced.

The kid's theory is that by CERN "changing the mass of one electron" (is he talking about the recent "more accurate" estimation of the mass of an electron, or about mass changes with particle speeds approaching 99% SOL? IDK) we were somehow shifted into a parallel universe with slightly different past.

I'd say, because he can recite this learned information so easily, he is reasonably intelligent. A genius? Possible, but I doubt it. His parents are obviously stroking his ego and encouraging his pseudo-scientific rants.

He certainly has one gift -- the gift of gab.

It was an interesting theory, and it's funny how everyone is talking about the kid and not the theory.

And the kid is, of course, quoting information from others because that is how we learn. I think the quote is something like we all stand on the shoulders of giants as we learn.

I got it. I understood his thinking and appreciated the way he said it.

I feel bad for this kid. He has been gifted and cursed.

Science just barely starts to scratch the surface to the nature of reality and still, its discoveries are more shocking than we were able to imagine. It proves of quantum entanglement, unified field of consciousness, free energy, superhuman abilities, singularity, parallel universes and alternate realities.

All of this is so mind boggling that you would never think a kid can understand. But maybe we need a kid, someone who is brave enough to think about crazy ideas and theories because most of the world we live in today was built upon such.

I have got to back and watch the television series "Fringe" again. It was so fascinating and explored the ideas of multiverses and stuff like that. Anybody else love "Fringe?"

He does have his own set of mind with his own opinions. But Cern isn't real and I'm not buying it. We can't control the weather. He probably sounds like Einstein creating his own theories.

This reminds me of a kid in my neighborhood when I was about 8 years old. For some reason all the adults thought he was a genius because he did scientific "experiments". I actually looked closely at what he was doing, and asked him to show me how it was done. He really couldn't show me anything, because he wasn't actually doing anything provable. He just had all the adults conned because he had a fairly good vocabulary, and knew some very basic science. More showmanship than anything else. Just like "the smartest kid in the world". Meh

Or, like almost everyone else here, he's just smarter than you.

Kid in the OP video has parents that are very educated and well spoken; THAT is how he speaks so fluidly and seemingly intelligently.
