Tonight I painted a nice square of iodine on my thigh for the first time, to see how fast it absorbs. And today I got some sunflower oil so I can try the oil pulling that everyone's talking about. |

[link to www.ankn.uaf.edu] The person I know actually used it twice on different sores with amazing results. Here is a warning from that Web page. It is interesting to note that my friend walked into a health food store and bought horsetail pills off the shelf and he said the bottle had no warnings about taking it internally. He opened the gelatin capsules and poured out the contents to make a poultice. Warning: While the external use of horsetail is probably safe, and it is used for healing and drying sores as a poultice, pack, or ointment, continued internal use is not a good idea. Although shoots are eaten when young, horsetail should not be consumed raw because of the toxic thiaminase (which is, however, destroyed by cooking). And persons with hypertensive disease and or other cardiovascular problems should not consider using it. |

I have read things about silica saying you need it to assimilate calcium, among other things. It makes your hair and nails grow really strong and fast. |

He got it overseas ( military) Nothing would help it. He was taking the hulls off black walnuts and got the stain on his hands and the sore. It healed within a few days. Just saying. Try rubbing the inside of the green hull of a black walnut ( Juglans nigra). What can it hurt? |
