Imagine for a minute if you will; you we're able to disconnect all of your senses absolutely no sight absolutely no sound absolutely no taste absolutely no smell and absolutely no feeling.

Where are you?
Are you still you?
Do you still exist?

Let's say some comes and shoots you in the head while you are laying there wherever.

You don't hear the shot fired you don't feel the bullet penetrating your skin you don't smell the sulfur from the round you don't see into the persons eyes that's pulling the trigger.

Do you still die?

How would you know?

The answer is yes it does make a sound

God created everything before the sixth day friday
When he created man
So sound and tress and woods were created before man

Stupid question.

Sound is caused by vibration so when the tree falls and hits the ground there will be vibration causing sound in the area around it depending on how strong the vibration is...

Are you saying because you are not around the tree is not there?

Then there wouldn't be a tree to begin with, and that's ridiculous.

Are you talking about a tree in your imagination or a tree that is on Earth?

If the tree you are talking about falls in your imagination then you are setting the parameters... so you tell me, your imaginary tree... does it make sound when it falls?

Yes I understand your reasoning but according to the double slit experiment and what Angel just said everything is everywhere and can also be nothing and nowhere.

When there is no observer the electrons stay in wave form; endless possibilities. It isn't untill the process is measured that the wave function collapses into "reality"

So like I said if you had no connection to this world ViA your senses and you were in said woods and the said tree falls on top of your head what happens.

Well for starters there’s defiantly not a tree there because we cannot observe reality directly. We only see the interface between the observer and the reality, something we can make sense of.

The tree causes vibrations, but they are not sound out there, just vibrations. It's the same with all the senses. What we experience is not the same as what is out there and all our sense experience is happening in the mind.

I think quantum physics and the slit test prove there must be an observer for this planned net. If there is no observer than nothing exists. But there will always be an observer and that observer is more you than you realize ;-)

1. Set a big bomb in the middle of a desert with a timer counting down to detonate.

2. Make sure noone is near enough to see (observe) the explosion.

3. Wait to see if you can hear the explosion when the time runs out...

That way, you can test your theory. If things only exist when being "observed".

Yeah you see but you've already polluted your experiment because you had to see the bomb and no that was there to set it in the desert.

Ahhh, but but remember you don't have the help of your five senses. You're only going by what you've been taught.

If everybody was taught the sky was purple yet it was the same color as it is now then everybody would think the color blue is purple and that's the way it would be.

Yes because my thought and sight of that teacup intertwines itself into my reality. Thus the matter can be controlled by the observer. I can pick it up..I can break it .. I can change its form and make it something else if I choose. Mind over matter always. Everything and nothing at the same time.

Almost. The fallen tree will cause the vibrations no matter what. Ears in the vicinity are required to convert those vibrations into sound.

Sure, we can rename blue and call it purple... but i think it's to late for that now before we start confusing the two colours...

If you are talking about five senses, then what is sound? and what is a tree? and what is it 'falling'?
