Anonymous Coward User ID: 74201973 United States 03/11/2017 02:16 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The term "fascism" is not really a coherent political ideology at all, but a catch all post-modern euphemism to label an opponent. Modern political scholars have argued the term ad nauseum, but they have never been able to come out with a concise definition because so many of the markers of what they call fascism overlap with other political institutions. If you guys would like a history lesson, the term fascism is itself a term coined to describe nationalistic post-Enlightenment movement of the early to mid 20th century. What often gets overlooked in this definition is that instead of being to opposite extremes of separate ideologies, the competing labels were just distinct arms of pan-socialist movement that swept Euro-Asia post WWI. The "fascist" were the non-internationalists. They were nationalists, but distinctly socialists -- much like Europe still is today. It is interesting to note that even though the USSR claimed to be international socialists/communists, they wasted little time in grabbing up the major resources of the Soviet Bloc countries and siphoning off their wealth into controlled state run oligarchies run by Soviet bureaucratic elite. The wealth was decidedly not shared with the common people as they starved millions of people in those countries. In other words, it is a bullshit term for bullshit people. |

You my friend have hit the spot! That is the most concise way of explaining it besides what most on the right side say, its communism that bring in multinational monopolistic corporations to make the elite rich, and the poor the workers. But I like your explanation. Great! Please excuse any grammatical errors as I usually post from my mobile device. Im a Rightarian. I believe in right over wrong, not right against left.
