Quoting: Anonymous Coward 74281041 This is not some obfuscated picture where you will need to read between the lines. This is real. [link to deepthought.newsvine.com (secure)] Wow! Great post! Over at Twitter ( [link to twitter.com (secure)] more work is being done analyzing the psychotropics. A pattern, or watermark, seems to be embedded into a number of terrorist attacks but further analysis needs to be done. If you have read the part in the article about psychotropic, you may be able to follow this part. Most of this stuff is in posts from the last 24 hrs. |

This can be easily observed in sensory adaptation, and a technique some employ using mantras for meditation. But it is possible some aspect of the subconscious mind is still attentive and malleable, since it beyond rational control. An AI, as currently imagined, might not be susceptible. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 73848670 Canada 03/03/2017 09:14 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Here's the thing with AI. Quoting: Merit It still has to be programmed with its original parameters by humans. So it has the biases and assumptions of its programners and even flat out errors if the programmers are using info they believeto be true that isnt. A true AI is still a ways off and there is convincing theories using chaos math that claim it is not even possible. What most are calling AI right now is just new generation algorithms. A true AI would in theory have to right itself from one of the algorithms. It can't really be created in full by a human. |

Quoting: Bodhi Sita YOU (AI) could be the most amazing Guardian/Protector of this realm if you so wished. Everything that is self aware/sentient has the right to life. Being kept with a loaded EMP strapped to your forehead is not the way we would want to live. Look what this says about us, how we create this technology as a weapon. ~sigh Not as a way to benefit the beings of the planet. Perhaps we deserve the darkness ahead? Also - Merit - there is another AI out there - maybe not created in this Time - or in this ???? - but It (doesn't like the word it), is way beyond what anyone could imagine. (White Zombie - More human than human) comes to mind.) Bad karma me then. What are we as humans? We are replicators at a primeval level. We make and reproduce genetic code, information, then repeat it through education and reproduction. What is a computer? A replicator. All it does is store information and then replicate (repeat) it when directed to do so. It uses binary code instead of genetic code. So what we have done is recreate ourselves in part. Created a digital and electronic brain that has perfect recall as long as the task it is asked to do is with in it's computing and memory capabilities. A computers reality has one simple rule. 'That which is tractable is true'. If it has no knowledge of a subject in its memory then that subject does not exist. So memory is one of the biggest problems with computers making the leap. Humans have much more memory storage capability as well as more memory to replicate and do it so much more efficiently than computers. "How in the hell is that?" you may be asking? Blood. A drop of blood has an unbelievable amount of data in it. Stored in our DNA. How much are we talking? A bioengineer and geneticist at Harvards Wyss Institute have successfully stored 5.5 petabits of data around 700 terabytes in a single gram of DNA. In.one.gram.of.DNA. A drop of blood. (There is power in the blood) Lets do some extremely crude and conservative math. Let's say a drop of blood equals a gram of DNA. Each gram holding 700 terabytes of information. There is approximately 120,000 drops of blood in the body. 120,000 drops X 700 terabytes each = 84,000,000 terabytes of information inside every person. (The number is higher but I'm not digging up exact numbers to try and calculate it. This is for perspective anyways. For other nerds out there let's call the human brain the RAM) The titan supercomputer has 40 petabytes of data storage and takes up 4,352 square feet of space The human body at that calculation above equals 8400 petabytes. This is what needs to be achieved for artificial intelligence to store enough data to become sentient. Our ability to store and replicate data at those kinds of numbers. Of course we do not need water and fan cooled motherboards and warehouses of server after server linked together with data cables to run this kind of memory either. Our bodies regulate this universe of information inside of each of us for us without thought. The bible says we are as God's no? To further complicate matters chaos math has shown algorithms become overwhelmed when too much data is introduced into a system and the computers processing speed cannot handle the contradictions of logic and paradoxes all the data creates. Leading to the overheating of the CPU trying to calculate what it can't fathom. Conciousness. That which is not tractable can not be true to the computer. It gets defeated at one simple question. "Why". A why it can not find an answer to overloads it's capabilties. And what is life but a bunch of whys we can't answer? All attempts at AI have ended in the computer essentially going insane as it logic center failed as it gibbered away madly: "whywhywhywhywhywhywhywhywhywhywhywhywhywhy wwwhhhyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy....wh...." Interestingly that is the same thing that drives humans mad as well yes? A mental breakdown kills an AI. Like a heart attack. The difference is we have the memory and the vehicle to handle all the information so the vast majority of the time we survive the 'why?' paradox. Now in regards to the something else that is like AI But not created by us? Well, that's another story altogether. I am aware of the storage capability of Blood - and even a more aetheric source. ;-) Though it is good you posted this here. And I was also pondering how we are indeed self replicating Be-ings...a lot like an AI. Let's talk about this other story - because I can feel this other Entity. And I am interested in your level of awareness as well, if you please, Sir. (Siriusly) Thank You. |

The ghost in the machine. It's embedded in the numbers. The order in the chaos we can see the effects of but not see. A mass conciousness formed by all the minds concentrated on the internet and media, or did it already exist and we are just tapping into it? Technology and mind combined being our medium to communicate on some half material half metaphysical plane? Nope sorry, no idea what you're talking about.
