I will be posting empirical medical evidence ( links to gov and medical publications about the medicinal benefits and operations of the plant).

This is not up for discussion but to prove it is in fact beneficial. If you can add medical evidence please do so. I also hope that President Trumps staff see's this... taking away something that could help make American people healthy and the land great again.

George Washington knew the benefits to the country to have this plant around.

Tired of the sterotype that is placed on people who use it as medicine. The Ancients used it and knew the benefits of the plant in all its scopes.

This plant is sacro-sanct

"Since dreaming is a mental activity that occurs during sleep (characterized by emotions, sensory perceptions, and bizarre components) and the endocannabinoid system modulates neurobiological processes involving consciousness, such as learning and memory, attention, pain perception, emotions and sleep, it is acceptable to hypothesize that the endocannabinoid system might be modulating dream activity. Moreover, preliminary studies in humans have indicated that treatment with cannabinoids may decrease post-traumatic stress disorder symptoms, including nightmares. Thus, based on a review of the literature available in PubMed, this article hypothesizes a conceptual framework within which the endocannabinoid system might influence the generation of dream experiences.” [link to www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov (secure)]

“In this mini-review, we focus on the potential of the endocannabinoid system as a target for novel therapies to treat gastrointestinal (GI) inflammation. We discuss the organization of the endocannabinoid signaling and present possible pharmacological sites in the endocannabinoid system. We also refer to recent clinical findings in the field. Finally, we point at the potential use of cannabinoids at low, non-psychoactive doses to counteract non-inflammatory pathological events in the GI tract, like chemotherapy-induced diarrhea, as evidenced by Abalo et al. in the rat model.”

"Various strategies to treat Clinical Endocannabinoid Deficiency (CED) conditions are possible. A direct approach with CB1 agonists must recognize the fact that the ECS operates as a homeostatic regulator that sometimes requires a gentle pharmacological nudge, rather than a forceful shove, by synthetic full agonists. Thus, small doses of a weak partial agonist (e.g., THC) should be considered, which would not induce tolerance and may jump-start the ECS."

Let's start with the first study you linked.

Neuropathic pain is a neurological disorder that strongly affects the quality of life of patients. Among the neuromodulators involved in the pathological pain pathways, endocannabinoid system could be deeply involved in both neuronal and non-neuronal mechanisms responsible for the appearance of tactile allodynia. Indeed, the function and dysfunction of this complex system in the molecular and cellular mechanisms of chronic pain induction and maintenance has been widely studied over the last two decades. In this review article, we highlighted the possible modulation of the endocannabinoid system in the neuronal, glial and microglial modulation in neuropathic pain treatment.” [link to www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov (secure)]

Addicts? ... projecting much.

They are describing how cannabis helps one of the many inflammatory processes in the body because of the anti-inflammatory properties it has.

I do have a medical background, started off as a combat medic and licensed EMT in the Army. And continued in the medical field until I could no longer work due to my medical issues. However I still study medicine.

For example I have certain medical conditions that the dr wants to prescribe opioid pain killers for. Last round my body broke out in a rash from my hips to my knees after taking lortab for a flare up, where I had spinal decompression surgery because of a cyst the was pressing on my spinal cord and causing issues of its own that took almost 3 months to go away. Until you are faced with such medical problems please do not come in here shaking your finger pretending to know what how or why some people are choosing to go in this direction.

Now have a pleasant day and if our pubmeds are not good enough for you I will find outside of the US sources that also support the use of it and post those as well.

There are people who look for alternative medicine because of the chemical concoctions Big Pharma promotes.

You can usually find a source online to purchase it. Most natural health food stores carry the cbd oil because it is legal as it does not have the thc psychoactive compound in it.

It is still about the cannabinoids and the endocannabinoid system.

Here is my positive: I suffer from severe menstrual cramps. I have my card and discovered this awesome product. It's a patch I can slap on my wrist for 12 hours of relief. Granted, it doesn't 100% mask the pain, but I feel I get about the same amount of relief as I did when I would pop naproxen all day.

Here is one from Europe...

[link to europepmc.org]

snip~

Endogenous cannabinoids [endocannabinoids] are lipid signaling molecules that have been shown to modulate immune functions. However, their role in the regulation of Th17 cells has not been studied previously. In the current study, we used methylated Bovine Serum Albumin [mBSA]-induced delayed type hypersensitivity [DTH] response in C57BL/6 mice, mediated by Th17 cells, as a model to test the anti-inflammatory effects of endocannabinoids. Administration of anandamide [AEA], a member of the endocannabinoid family, into mice resulted in significant mitigation of mBSA-induced inflammation, including foot pad swelling, cell infiltration, and cell proliferation in the draining lymph nodes [LN]. AEA treatment significantly reduced IL-17 and IFN-γ production, as well as decreased RORγt expression while causing significant induction of IL-10 in the draining LNs. IL-10 was critical for the AEA-induced mitigation of DTH response inasmuch as neutralization of IL-10 reversed the effects of AEA. We next analyzed miRNA from the LN cells and found that 100 out of 609 miRNA species were differentially regulated in AEA-treated mice when compared to controls. Several of these miRNAs targeted proinflammatory mediators. Interestingly, many of these miRNA were also upregulated upon in vitro treatment of LN cells with IL-10. Together, the current study demonstrates that AEA may suppress Th-17 cell–mediated DTH response by inducing IL-10 which in turn triggers miRNA that target proinflammatory pathways.
