Wells Fargo treats their employees like trash

A very well liked employee who walks to work everyday to the Safeway Wells Fargo was fired today due to events from yesterday. Many would ask why I'm even making this post. Well as many don't know, she struggles to support herself and daughter.
She has old worn out shoes that were soaking wet with a huge tear in side of them. When a customer saw her emptying the water out of them, she went to wilco and bought her a pair of shoes. Took them to the counter she was working at and placed them in front of her, said these are yours and there a gift. Employee placed the shoes under her work area and informed manager of it. Manager immediately took them from her. Employee went and informed wilco she could not except shoes please go over and get back and refund lady who purchased them. Wilco then knew what was going on and filled a complaint against Wells Fargo for not letting her keep the shoes.
Well she has now been fired from Wells Fargo over the whole situation. No one deserves to go through what she did. I couldn't imagine having wet shoes then working a 8 hour shift in them just to make ends meat. To the lady who tried to donate the shoes! That was so incredibly thoughtful!!! In no way should you feel bad about what happened as you were doing something amazing!! I really just want people to be aware of what happened. If you can help in any way it would mean the world to her!! Please feel free to contact me. This whole situation makes me sad. I can't believe such a good deed got turned into a nightmare.

My former co worker worked for Wells Fargo after the bank bail outs gave them millions of our public tax payer dollars. He had to work on Thanksgiving. Which is bad enough in America to work for a bank and have to work when your entire family is gathered for acfamiky meal and the rest of America has the day off. But that's not Tue worst of it. His job was to call people who had applied for refinancing after the housing market crash, (which Wells Fargo got bailed out from dollars taken from the very people they were evicting BTW). He said that most of them should have qualified but didn't which is why the news he had to always deliver to people was so shocking and heart stopping because it was the definitive moment that a person found out they were losing their home a long with the thousands of dollars in equity in it! So imagine being my friend a very nice clean cut Alex P Keaton Iowa college grad 24 year old having to leave his family Thanksgiving to go make calls for Wells Fargo on Thanksgiving to tell people that should have qualified for loan modifications that they were losing their houses and all their equity (on THANKSGIVING!!!)
