Come on folks, this is an easy one.

If Bitcoin is $1700 in June, then I'll be loading up.

Thanks for the heads up Bill!

These are the aggregate averages of four different RV'ers. Each of us had very similar numbers.

Take it as you will.

I know I am making preparations.

This is great info thanks. what about Ethereum?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 73308404

We didn't RV it. I think it has technical issues, it's not going to be as big bitcoin. Bitcoin is the defacto cyrpotocurrency for the foreseeable future, and during the coming nuclear war we think it will go higher than $22k, possibly $50k per bitcoin.

Yes, certain people who are prepared will make a lot of money, but 99% of Americans will be left out in the cold and broke.
 Quoting: Bill_Davis

Ethereum? No thanks. But hey, to each his own. Ever since the DAO debacle and the continuous hard forking has really diminished Ethereum.

I think it would be worth your time and effort to remote view DASH. This crypto currency has an excellent business model and will likely outperform Bitcoin as far as percentage growth in market cap.

There's another up and coming coin that's sort of in the background slowly going up. Not saying which, but this thread is intriguing as it relates to another thread about 6 months ago on here about nukes going off.

It was a remote view with screenshots of GLP.

What utter crap. You speak of nuke wars and bitcoin, in the event of such a thing bitcoin would be wiped out and most of what is used to gain such would be unavailable.

 Quoting: Bill_Davis

Its a virtual currency! Of course its going to suffer in the event of a nuke war, net going down, power going down, scitt hitting the fan on a scale that would effect everything. And yet somehow you think bitcoins going to be worth a crap load and somehow you are going to be able to spend it as you would right here today.

Of course I know nothing.

Sorry I can't agree with your forecast.
Why? Cause Winklevoss ETF.
You will see a continual climb until around March 11.
This is speculation climb of the ETF passing.
If ETF passes you will see bitcoin $2200 before end of march and probably $3200 before end of year. If ETF fails expect a retreat back to $1000 (possibly spikes down to $900 range give or take $50) - then a steady climb back to whatever second generation equipment at 10c per kwh takes.

There you go. Happy trading.

Dash is a clearly a valid Altcoin. Why though? Because its not an open ledger and all activity is not recorded. So Dash is the coin of choice for nefarious factions. However if government regulation ever takes a grip on Crypto it will most likely go after the hidden ledger coins.

Good assessment, we just see more dramatic numbers, and an approval of the ETF.

We will see. Up until March 11 is a good time to invest.

Hello Op ,

I have info on a new cryptocurrency about to launch for the advertising world,

It is a multifunctional, next-generation cryptocurrency and trading platform developed on Ethereum blockchain, using cutting edge smart contract technology. It will become the first stable digital currency exclusively designed and marketed towards the advertising industry to allow owners of the currency to pay for product and services with zero chargebacks and freedom from dealing traditional financial institutions.

Could you take a look at this and see if it will be a worthy investment and perform like bitcoin in its own category?

You can PM me for more information if you like.

hf thanks for your consideration. :)

I think a lot of you are missing the boat here. The current rise in bitcoin has NOTHING to do with speculation of the ETF approval.

Why would speculation on a DERIVATIVE of bitcoin be good?

It flies in the face of everything that bitcoin is about.

No, from the talk I hear, it has to do with scarcity.

21 million total bitcoin and already 16.5 million are mined.

The FRENZY to get some bitcoin before it's too late is here and that is why it is going up. ETF accept or fail means nothing except to trick some Wall Street-minded fools.

5* Bill.

Keep us posted concerning Bitcoin.

Personally I am advocate of Bitcoin and have been for several years and I have done very well by it.

I have tried my best to wake up the GLP community concerning Bitcoin, but for the most part I have been ridiculed, much like you have been.

But hey, it's GLP, what can one expect, right?

And to those of you who haven't Bitcoin yet but hold PMs, my advice is you should diversify. Ever heard the old saysing, "Don't put all your eggs in one basket?" Well, aren't you doing that by only holding PMs? And how has that worked out for you? Not so good, right?

You are missing the boat my friend.
ETF approval means an immediate influx of $300 million USD into BTC. This alone will drastically increase BTC value in the first week. Ride on top of that an estimated additional 2 billion and you can see for yourself the value.

"It flies in the face of everything that bitcoin is about."
What is Bitcoin about? Bitcoin has no agenda. It is a pure mathematical function. Having an ETF that invests in BTC in way influences its function. Sure satoshi had some ideological reasons to create BTC.

You are right in that scarcity also effects price, however scarcity increases are generally introduced more in alignment with halvings.

Keep in mind Bitcoin benefits from the global economic turmoil that is currently taking place all over the world. People are realizing they can put their money into BTC, to escape their failing local currencies or escape government controls.

China played a big role in this recently, hence the sustainment over 1000..

There will be more countries joining in soon..

The entire world community is going to want their slice of the bitcoin pie as the central banks continue to drop the ball..
